Pest Trap
A flying pest trap (10) comprises a plurality of LEDs (38) and an immobilisation element retaining means (46) for retaining an immobilisation element (12) in a non-planar configuration.
INSECT CAPTURE DEVICE
An insect capture device is provided. The insect capture device has a housing having a cover with a plurality of openings through which insects enter the housing. A light assembly is mounted to the housing and adapted to attract the insects. A bait container is mounted on the housing to hold insect bait. A fan is disposed within the housing oriented to pull insects through the cover and into the housing. A removable tray cooperates with the housing. The tray configured to hold an adhesive pad for capturing insects that entered the housing.
Insect and Creature Monitoring System
The present application describes a pollinator species detection and monitoring device and system that utilizes specifically positioned and spaced receptacles for determining and conveying the numbers, health and movements of pollinator species ranging from real-time to intermittent transmittance of detected information for an area, region, areas or regions, singularly and in the aggregate. The detected information is collected and recorded via a pair of closely related sensors, residing at 180 degrees from one another, wherein pollinator species' entrance, exit, number, gender and activity are sensed, analyzed algorithmically and stored locally for eventual transmittance from a transmitting device to an external computer or mobile device for data observance, collection, storage and analysis. Detected information may be species specific or across a plurality of species.
Heated insect trapping device and methods thereof
An insect trapping device includes a base with a shroud and a cartridge. The cartridge includes an adhesive portion that is positioned adjacent the shroud, when the cartridge is attached to the base. The shroud includes an electric heating element, which heats the shroud and the adhesive portion of the cartridge.
Trap
An attracting element (14) attachable to a flying pest trap (10), the attracting element (14) comprising: a plurality of LEDs (42) arranged on a support section (41), wherein the support section (41) is configured to be detachably secured to a receiving section of the flying pest trap (10), the receiving section having higher thermal conductivity than the support section (41), so as to transfer heat generated by the LEDs (42) to the receiving section.
Window fly trap
A window mounted fly trap includes a frame comprising a top surface, a bottom surface disposed on a side of the frame opposite the top surface, and a mount extending from the bottom surface away from the frame. The frame defines an interior and the mount is constructed to detachably mount to a window surface. The trap also includes a cover attached to the top surface of the frame enclosing the interior at the top surface of the frame, the cover comprising an adhesive fly capture surface configured to face the window surface, the frame, cover, and window surface defining therein a fly capture chamber. The trap further includes at least one ingress in the frame for permitting flies to enter the fly capture chamber.
Insect trap utilizing UV light and method of use thereof
An insect trap useful for trapping flying insects, the insect trap comprising an upper housing including at least one horizontal row of light emitting diodes extending across an outer surface of a curved front wall such that light from each of the light emitting diodes is projected outwardly from the upper housing at a different angle than adjacent light emitting diodes in the horizontal row of light emitting diodes, a base housing including an opening through which insects can enter an interior of the base housing, and an insect trapping element facing the opening in the base housing.
ARTHROPOD TRAPPING DEVICE
An insert for an arthropod trapping device. The insert comprising a substrate and a frame for supporting the substrate, where a surface of the substrate has an adhesive disposed thereon, an optional mounting bracket spaced apart from the adhesive surface of the insert and located at a first end of the insert, and an optional graspable tab extending from the frame at a second end of the insert.
