MEDIUM SUPPORTING DEVICE AND RECORDING DEVICE
A medium supporting device including a support part configured to support a roll body on which a sheet shaped medium is wound, a shaft serving as a rotary axis of the roll body and secured with the support part, and a driver configured to rotate the roll body supported by the support part. The shaft is secured to the support part by using a metal plate having a flat surface provided with an insertion hole, the insertion hole being a hole into which the shaft is inserted. An outer circumference part of the metal plate is restricted from moving in a rotation direction of the roll body relative to an inner circumference part of the support part.
Film Wrapping Apparatus
A film wrapping apparatus includes a shaft member having two holding portions coaxially aligned with each other, a roll locker for releasably locking two film rolls at the holding portions respectively in a free-rotating manner, and a dispensing handle transversely extended from the shaft member at a position between the holding portions thereof, wherein the dispensing handle provides a holding point for being held by an operator to unroll the film rolls in a concurrent and controllable manner so as to wrap stretch films of the film rolls around the load.
Reel and Tip for Fish Tape
Described herein is a fish tape reel comprising a housing with two side shells coupled together. The housing defines an internal cavity. An internal portion of the housing defines a plurality of flat gripping portions and a plurality of finger notches. The housing comprises a plurality of tabs in the internal cavity, the tabs interfacing against an inner annular portion that is coupled to the handle when the handle rotates around the housing.
Tape application and removal device
A tape application and removal device for edge painting includes a frame, a pair of spools, and a roll of tape. Each spool is rotatably coupled to the frame proximate to a respective top corner of the frame. The roll of tape is positioned on one spool with the tape coupled to the other spool so that a section of the tape extends between the spools. The frame is configured to position the spools proximate to an intersection of a first surface and a second surface and to motivate the spools along the intersection so that the tape is applied to the first surface by the one spool and removed by the other spool as the spools are rotated along the first surface. The section of the tape is configured to protect the first surface from paint that is applied to the second surface between the spools.
Non-cylindrical adhesive roller assembly
An adhesive roller assembly is provided having a non-cylindrical roller. The non-cylindrical roller is rotatably affixed to a handle's distal end. In addition, adhesive tape is helically wrapped about the roller, and the adhesive tape includes perforations so as to facilitate the breaking of the adhesive tape into individual segments. Because the roller has a non-cylindrical circumferential surface, the adhesive tape is deformed to have a non-cylindrical exterior. The roller, and consequentially exterior of the adhesive tape, can take various forms. In preferred embodiments, the roller and tape exterior have a concave, convex, undulating, dimpled or bumpy surface. The adhesive tape is made of material providing increased elongation.
Dispenser construction string, cord, or wire
A dispenser for a construction string, cord, or wire contains: an end member, a handle member, and a fixer. The end member includes a first stein formed on a first end thereof, a second stein arranged on a second end thereof and separated from the first stein by a shoulder, a disposable spool fitted on the second stein on which two opposite first ribs extend away from the shoulder, a fitting part defined between the two opposite first ribs, a notch defined on a top of the fitting part, and inner threads formed on an inner wall of the notch. The handle member is rotatably connected with the first stein. The fixer includes a body and a threaded post extending outward from the body, wherein the threaded post has outer threads arranged on an outer wall thereof so as to screw with the inner threads of the notch.
BRAKING FILM DISPENSER WITH LOBES
A film dispenser includes a holding member and a rotating member, the holding member including a first end including a handle, the handle including a plurality of lobes and a plurality of web portions, each web portion extending between a pair of adjacent lobes of the plurality of lobes; and a second end defining a brake portion defined by a slot, the holding member defining a longitudinal axis that extends from the first end to the second end, the slot including a first portion extending in a circumferential direction across a full width of the brake portion and two opposing portions extending at an angle from the first portion; each of the plurality of web portions extending outward beyond an outermost edge of the rotating member relative to the longitudinal axis.
Ergonomic adhesive noodle applicator
Apparatus and methods for manually applying flexible noodles (e.g., noodles made of adhesive material) to a workpiece (e.g., a composite part) during production or construction. The noodle is fed out over a series of upright rolls and rollers to the target area. Those rolls and rollers are rotatably coupled to a platform that is designed to be worn on the forearm of the operator. In accordance with one example, the noodle applicator comprising an ergonomic handle and an ergonomic forearm brace that are positioned and attached to the platform to allow the weight of the platform to be centered higher up the forearm, protecting the wrist. The direction of application is in-line with the forearm of the operator, decreasing the strain involved.
System for applying a web around a cylindrical object with even tension
A system for applying a web around a cylindrical object with even tension containing a core having a generally cylindrical shape and a pair of handles. Each handle has an insertion area, a collar area, and a gripping area. The collar area is sandwiched between the insertion area and the gripping area and the insertion diameter is less than the inner diameter of the core at the first end and second end. The handles and core have a means for coupling meaning that the core and the insertion area of the handles do not move independently from one another.
HAND HELD ERGONOMIC ELECTRIC TAPE DISPENSER
Apparatus and associated methods relate to a handheld power-dispensing tape dispenser having a center of gravity forward of a user's hand. In an illustrative example, a tape dispenser may, for example, include a housing having a handle configured to be held by a human hand. A first roller body may, for example, be rotatably coupled to the housing to rotate about a first axis. A motor may, for example, be disposed in the first roller body. An actuator may, for example, be configured such that, in response to operation of the actuator by a user, the motor induces rotation of the first roller body about the first axis. A second roller body may, for example, be rotatably coupled to the housing and configured to rotate about a second axis substantially parallel to the first axis. Various implementations may advantageously increase stability and/or reduce operator fatigue during taping operations.
