Pest control method using adhesive trap
A pest trap assembly and method of use includes the obtaining of a trap assembly and the selective modification of the structure to produce one or more functional traps. As a structure, the trap assembly includes a relatively flat structure having an adhesive layer across one surface and a film cover over the top of the adhesive layer. A user may use the whole structure as a glue trap or may elect to break it up into different independent sections. Perforated lines are provided to aid in separation. A user may elect to build a three-dimensional structure defining an interior volume from the structure. The configuration may be that of conical or of a pod where the interior volume is defined by a plurality of sides. These configurations aid in capturing air born pests or pests hiding on lower surfaces and are designed to be hung or suspended.
MOSQUITO AGGREGATION COMPOSITION
The present invention provides compositions that may act as a aggregation pheromone or a swarming pheromone for mosquitoes, wherein said compositions comprises decanal and optionally one or more of octanal, nonanal, sulcaton, and 3-hydroxy-2-butanone, as well as uses thereof for attracting mosquitoes, vector control, mosquito control, male quality assessment, population surveillance and monitoring, and risk assessment in epidemiological monitoring programmes.

Insect Trap Device
A removable substrate for an insect attractant device includes a body having front and rear faces, a grip portion, and a base disposed opposite the grip portion. The removable substrate further includes a first lateral portion extending from the base, and a second lateral portion extending from the base. A projection extends outwardly from the base, lowermost ends of the first and second lateral portions are disposed below the projection, and an adhesive is applied to the front face and the rear face.
BUG-CATCHING CURTAIN SYSTEM
A bug-catching curtain system includes a plurality of curtains composed of adhesive material suspended from rigid framing material. A drive shaft is supported by the support structure. A plurality of primary cables extending out from a plurality of spindles that are mounted on the drive shaft. A plurality of support cables are attached to the primary cable and to the rigid framing material. The plurality of support cables suspend the plurality of curtains between rows of plants. A height at which the plurality of curtains are suspended is varied by using the turning the drive shaft to let out and to wind in the plurality of primary cables.
DEVICE FOR CATCHING INSECTS
There is provided a device for catching insects, such as flies. The device can be attached in an area having particular high activity of insects, such as in the vicinity of a horse eye. The device comprises a sheet having an outer surface with an adhesive layer for catching and holding insects contacting said adhesive. It also includes a holding member for holding the sheet and attaching to the animal. Preferably the sheet is releasable from the holding member.

INSECT TRAP
An insect trap including a base having an upper end defining a cavity for receiving a removable bait cup. A main housing defining a plurality of openings is matable to the base in an upright position. The main housing defines a mounting structure for supporting a hanger for supporting an uncoiled roll of flypaper within the main housing. A spacer centers an uncoiled roll of flypaper within the main housing. An upper cap free from openings allowing passage of any incident water through the upper cap is matable with the upper end of the main housing. The insect trap is capable of free-standing outdoor use, outside of any enclosure or overhanging structure, while resisting penetration of rain/precipitation into the main housing. The base, main housing, hanger and upper cap are matable to define a weather-resistant enclosure for suspending flypaper within the main housing above the internal cavity of the base.
Apparatus and method for determining a parameter indicative of the progress of an extracorporeal blood treatment
An apparatus and process for extracorporeal treatment of blood (1) comprising a treatment unit (2), a blood withdrawal line (6), a blood return line (7), a preparation line (19) and a spent dialysate line (13). A control unit (10) is configured to calculate values of a parameter relating to treatment effectiveness based on measures of lactate or citrate or acetate concentration in the spent dialysate line (13).
