A removable substrate for an insect attractant device includes a body having front and rear faces, a grip portion, and a base disposed opposite the grip portion. The removable substrate further includes a first lateral portion extending from the base, and a second lateral portion extending from the base. A projection extends outwardly from the base, lowermost ends of the first and second lateral portions are disposed below the projection, and an adhesive is applied to the front face and the rear face.

The invention relates to an insect trap (10) and more particularly to an insect trap which has been designed to facilitate simple and efficient servicing, maintenance and cleaning. In a first aspect the trap comprises a. a back housing (12); b. a frame (14) swing mounted to said housing; and c. a cover (16) comprising openings (18) allowing insects to enter the trap and the frame supports one or a plurality of lights (22) such that said frame and lights can be moved from a first position where they overlie the back housing, to a second position where they lie clear of the back housing such that an insect catching means (100) which may be fitted over the back housing is readily accessible for replacement during servicing. In yet another aspect there is provided an insect capture means (100) with a general capture surface (102) and a separate surface (104) designed to facilitate record keeping.

A trap for catching insects may include a back housing, a plurality of lights and a cover. The trap may be adapted for ease of servicing and jet cleaning via a plurality of shields. Each of the plurality of shields may sealably protect, from water ingress, the plurality of lights at a position where the plurality of lights connect to a plurality of electrical fittings.

Systems, devices, and methods for providing a calendar configuration for a multi-sheet fly trap, with each sheet having a sticky exposed surface of a plastic or paper sheet, which is exposed when the covering sheet is removed, each sheet includes patterns of spaced apart black lines over a different colored surface. The black lines sized to emulate cracks or surface edges to attract the flies thereon. And the sticky sheets can be left up for a period of time from a day to a month, and then be ripped off and discarded.

An insect elimination assembly includes a housing that has a plurality of apertures extending therethrough such that each of the apertures may allow an insect to enter the housing. A plurality of hooks is provided and each of the hooks is attached to the housing. A plurality of strips is provided and each of the strips is removably suspended from an associated one of the hooks. Each of the strips is infused with a chemical insect attractant such that each of the strips may lure the insects into the housing. Each of the strips is comprised of an adhesive material such that each of the strips may capture the insects.

A cockroach monitor includes a monitoring chamber with one or more openings to allow cockroaches to enter. A light is emitted from a light emitter into the monitoring chamber and received by a photoelectric transducer for detecting cockroaches by analyzing the received light for obstruction in the path of the light. In various embodiments, a board having a sticky surface can be attached to a ceiling of the monitoring chamber to capture cockroaches by their backs. In various embodiment, the light emitter and the photoelectric transducer are arranged in the cockroach monitor for the photoelectric transducer to receive the emitted light directly form the light emitter (without reflection) or to receive the emitted light as reflected from a surface.

An insect elimination assembly includes a housing that has a plurality of apertures extending therethrough such that each of the apertures may allow an insect to enter the housing. A plurality of hooks is provided and each of the hooks is attached to the housing. A plurality of strips is provided and each of the strips is removably suspended from an associated one of the hooks. Each of the strips is infused with a chemical insect attractant such that each of the strips may lure the insects into the housing. Each of the strips is comprised of an adhesive material such that each of the strips may capture the insects.

The present disclosure provides a mosquito killer, comprising: a base and a mosquito catching sheet supported on the base, wherein: the mosquito catching sheet comprises a lining sheet supported on the base and a mosquito sticky paper laid on the outer side of at least one plate surface of the lining sheet, the outer surface of the mosquito sticky paper is coated with mosquito sticky glue, the base is also provided with an accommodation cavity, one end of the mosquito sticky paper is rolled into a tube shape and accommodated in the accommodating cavity, while the opposite end extends along the plate surface of the lining sheet and is fixed to the top end of the lining sheet.
