Mechanical sheet product dispenser
A dispenser for dispensing sheet product is provided including a housing that defines an interior configured to accommodate a source of sheet product and an outlet through which the sheet product is dispensed. The dispenser also includes a first roller that is rotatable and disposed in the housing. A portion of the sheet product is designed to be in contact with the first roller prior to being dispensed through the outlet. The dispenser also includes a knife drum that is rotatable and configured to cooperate with the first roller to dispense the sheet product. The knife drum includes a knife configured to cut the sheet product into individual sheets. The dispenser also includes a spring assembly that may be configured to bias the knife drum toward a predetermined position during rotation of the knife drum.
PARALLEL EDGE GUIDES FOR SHEET OFFSET
A device for offsetting sheets as they are conveyed in a paper path toward a stacker includes a narrow channel mounted to a set of linked arms which when moved in a process direction (upstream-downstream) articulate in a cross process direction (inboard-outboard) to register the sheets at various locations for stacking or finish processing. The linked arms keep the channel parallel to the paper path at all times regardless of inboard-outboard offset.

A printer includes a first cam that is configured to change a distance between a pair of rollers, i.e. a drive roller and a pinch roller, wherein the pair of rollers are disposed opposite to each other with a paper therebetween and at least one of the rollers is configured to feed the paper along a transfer path by its rotation, a second cam that is configured to change a distance between a head for printing on the paper and a platen roller, wherein the head and the platen roller are disposed opposite to each other with the paper therebetween, and a third cam that is configured to switch the transfer path for the paper to a discharging transfer path or a decurl transfer path that are formed as different transfer paths. The first cam, the second cam, and the third cam are connected to a same rotation axis.
AUTOMATIC LAMINATING MACHINE
Provided is an automatic laminating machine, including a supporting plate assembly, a case, a limiting assembly, a film separation assembly, and an input roller assembly. A lower end of the supporting plate assembly extends into and is rotatably connected inside the case. The limiting assembly and the input roller assembly are rotatably connected inside the case. The film separation assembly is arranged inside the case, and located below the input roller assembly. One end of the limiting assembly is rotatably connected to the supporting plate assembly.
SHEET PROCESSING APPARATUS
A sheet processing apparatus includes a processing tray, a pushing member, and a movable guide. One or more sheets to be processed are placeable on the processing tray for sheet processing. The pushing member is configured to push an edge of the one or more sheets on the processing tray on an upstream side in a sheet conveying direction, by moving along a surface of the processing tray in the sheet conveying direction. The movable guide is movable to a sheet pressing position at which a distance between the surface of the processing tray and the movable guide is equal to or less than a height of the pushing member above the surface of the processing tray. The movable guide is at the sheet processing position when the pushing member moves along the surface of the processing tray in the sheet conveying direction.

Sheet feeder (4) for a machine (1) for the processing of sheet material such as paper or films, having a drive shaft (10), which extends substantially perpendicular to a sheet feeding direction and is provided with at least one suction gripper (12), which is rotated above the sheet material, when the drive shaft (10) is driven, wherein the suction gripper (12) is repositionable between an inactive position, in which it does not cooperate with the sheet material, and an active position, in which it can grip on the top side of the sheet material and carry this along.

A chain tensioner (50; 500) for a conveying device (70) of a machine (1; 1) for processing elements in the form of sheets (10), the conveying device (70) includes two lateral chain sets connected to the ends of transverse gripper bars (75) able to grasp the elements (10) and at least one chain-guiding device (90) configured to guide a respective chain set (80); the chain tensioner (50; 500) includes: an actuator (9) controlled by a control unit (8), a movable support (11), a transmission element (12) borne by the movable support (11), a rotary element (13) rotated by the actuator (9) and cooperating with the transmission element (12) in order to exert a thrust force on the movable support (11), the rotary element (13) being rotatable, to adjust the tension of the chain set (80). The actuator (9) is controlled in synchronism with the machine angle (MA). A machine (1; 1) for processing elements and a method for tensioning the chain sets (80) of the conveying device (70) are disclosed.
Clutch device and image forming apparatus
A clutch device includes a sector gear, a cam, an electromagnetic solenoid, a first lever, a second lever, a first spring, and a second spring. The cam includes a slide portion. The first lever engages with the electromagnetic solenoid and includes a first restricting portion. The second lever includes a hook and a second restricting portion. The first spring is configured to urge the second lever in a direction in which the first restricting portion and the second restricting portion contact each other. The second spring is configured to, when the electromagnetic solenoid is in a de-energized state, move the first lever. The slide portion of the cam has a surface configured to, when the electromagnetic solenoid is in an energized state, press the hook in a direction opposite to an urging direction of the first spring such that the second restricting portion is separated from the first restricting portion.

An image forming apparatus that has a transfer device that includes an intermediate transfer belt that is tensioned by a plurality of support rollers, a secondary transfer roller that faces one of the support rollers via the intermediate transfer belt, a cam that adjust a pressing force that presses the intermediate transfer belt by the secondary transfer roller, a motor that drives the cam, and a conveyor that conveys a recording medium to a transfer nip formed between the intermediate transfer belt and the secondary transfer roller is provided with a controller that controls an operation of the motor. The controller executes first control of operating the motor with a constant torque and stopping the motor when a rotation angular speed of the motor is less than or equal to a first threshold and second control of operating the motor at a predetermined timing to adjust a transfer nip amount.

It is an object of the present invention to provide method for receiving sheets for a sheet supplying apparatus. The method includes converting an up and down motion of a tray to a rotational motion of a rotary member by a movement conversion mechanism, converting the rotational motion of the rotary member around a rotational axis to a linear motion of a cylindrical member parallel to the rotational axis by the rotary member and a cam and slider mechanism, and elastically pressing an end portion of the cylindrical member of the cam and slider mechanism in the rotational axis direction to lift the tray by a compression spring.
