Mobile heating apparatus and method

The present invention provides for a mobile heating apparatus for heating an enclosed space to a temperature sufficient to kill bed bugs. The mobile heating apparatus has a recirculation chamber having a fresh air inlet configured to receive fresh air from a fresh air area and a recirculation air inlet configured to receive recirculation air from a heated air area. The fresh air area is located outside of the area to be heated. The heated air area is located within the area to be heated. The apparatus also has an air mixture/circulation apparatus configured to mix the fresh air and the recirculation air and an air heating chamber having a heat exchanger. A mixed air inlet is in communication with the air mixture/circulation apparatus. A heated air outlet is configured to route the heated air into the heated air area. A heating apparatus is configured to provide heated combustion flow to the heat exchanger. The present invention also provides for a related method.

Organism eradication system and method of use
11832606 · 2023-12-05 · ·

An organism eradication system and method of use configured for capturing and treating target organisms in a body of water, wherein the target organisms enter the system through a concentrator, are exposed to and mixed with an agent in a mixing section, and then die off over an appropriate dwell time with related environmental catalysts in a holder.

Oven for continuous elimination of phytosanitary pests present in organic particles of plant origin
11266139 · 2022-03-08 ·

An oven for elimination of harmful organisms which pose phytosanitary risks and are present in material of plant origin in the form of particles is provided. The oven includes: (a) first and second circular plates mounted in rotation about an axis Z, the surface of said plates being perforated and permeable to air and water, (b) a means for transferring the collected particles from the first plate to the second plate, and (c) a gas-blowing means forming a closed gas cycle. The gas-blowing means includes a blower for accelerating a flow of gas and directing it towards a heating station in order to heat the gas and directing it parallel to the axis Z towards the first plate, passing through the perforated surface of the first plate, then directly afterwards through the perforated surface of the second plate, in order to return to the blower and recommence the gas cycle.

HEAT SYSTEM FOR KILLING PESTS

The present disclosure generally relates to the field of pest elimination including all life stages of bed bugs. The present disclosure includes articles, systems, and methods of heat treatment to target and kill pests.

System to sterilize a physical space

A system for sterilizing a physical space, such as a hotel room. The system generates and distributes heated air to the physical space to elevate the temperature of the space to a level sufficient to achieve a desired sterilization effect of eradicating insects and microoganisms. The system is portable and self-contained. The system includes a hydrogen fuel cell that generates electrical power. An electrical system conditions and stores the electrical power and supplies stored electrical power to the system components and peripherals. System components include a source of hydrogen, a heater, an air distributor, and a filter. Peripherals include a UV light source and an aerosol dispenser. The combination of heat, UV light and aerosol disinfectant effectively eradicates insects, microorganisms, allergens, and odors in the physical space.

COMPOUNDS, COMPOSITIONS AND METHODS FOR ATTRACTING AND/OR ARRESTING BED BUGS

Disclosed is a composition of volatile and less-volatile pheromone components that can be used alone or in combination with other compounds to attract and/or arrest bed bugs of both sexes and all developmental stages. This blend can be used to bait traps that are effective in capturing bed bugs in infested premises or can be combined with a pesticide that is lethal to bed bugs.

Thermodynamic terminator and method of eliminating mites and parasites within a bee box
11129370 · 2021-09-28 ·

A thermodynamic terminator and a method of eliminating mites and parasites within a bee box. The thermodynamic terminator includes a housing having a lower panel with a fan aperture, an air intake, and an interior wall for supporting a divider panel. The divider panel extends from a sidewall of the housing to form a first compartment and a second compartment. A heating element is positioned within the first compartment and can regulate heat within the first compartment and the bee box. When the thermodynamic terminator is mounted to the bee box and activated, air is heated by the heating element and forced into the bee box by a system fan. The heated air is circulated within the bee box and forced to return to the first compartment via the air intake. A controller regulates the heating temperature and period of activation.

APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR SOIL STABILIZATION
20210274767 · 2021-09-09 ·

An apparatus for solarization of a volume of soil includes a support structure in the form of a frame having a first opening extending therethrough. The apparatus comprises a lid positionable over the frame, a plurality of walls extending under and away from the frame, and an assembly that redirects solar energy attached over the support structure. The lid and walls form a second opening. During operation the support structure is placed on a section of ground and adjusted for solar energy to be directed toward and through the lid. When placed on the ground, the frame, the lid, the walls and the adjoining ground form an enclosed volume that prevents thermal energy from escaping the enclosed volume while directing the solar energy into the volume via the second opening to heat underlying soil.
