A solar mosquito killer lamp includes a light emitted by the LED tube in the first light-emitting unit lures mosquitoes. The lured mosquitoes are killed through a high-voltage power grid. A battery and a circuit board arranged in a mounting shell supply power to the LED tube and the high-voltage power grid. Furthermore, a solar panel module electrically connected to the battery and the circuit board is provided, and can convert sunlight into electric energy and store the electric energy into the battery. Due to the solar panel module, compared with a mosquito killer lamp that only includes a single-layer solar panel, the mosquito killer lamp with the solar panel module enlarges an area of the solar panel, thereby improving the solar energy conversion efficiency. Therefore, the mosquito killer lamp can fully use the sunlight to achieve charging during outdoor use and is conductive to reducing the energy consumption.

INSECT CONTROL DEVICE AND METHOD OF USING THE SAME

An environmentally friendly method and device to eliminate insect pests utilizing lighting, sound, pheromones or scents, alone or in combination. This present invention to remove pests avoids the expense of biocide technologies that have not been developed fully, the damage to people and the environment from the use of dangerous chemical pesticides, and add to sustainable agriculture efforts including integrated pest management.

A mosquitocidal light bulb having a seat and lighting elements; the seat is connected with a mouth of a light bulb; the seat is provided with a connecting seat; a circuit board electrically connected with the seat is provided inside the connecting seat; the circuit board includes a lighting control circuit board and a mosquito killing control circuit board; the light elements are connected to the connecting seat and electrically connected with the lighting control circuit board; a mosquitocidal device is connected with the connecting seat and electrically connected with the mosquito killing control circuit board. The mosquitocidal light bulb provided can replace an existing ordinary light bulb and uses existing wire arrangements. Therefore, it is not necessary to change the existing wire arrangements and switch controls to provide both mosquito killing function and lighting function.

Automatic monitoring of insect populations

Illustrative embodiments of integrated pest management (IPM) systems and electronic insect monitoring devices (EIMDs) are disclosed. In some embodiments, the EIMDs may each comprise a lure for attracting at least one target insect species, one or more sensors that generate one or more output signals in response to an insect approaching the lure, and an electronic controller configured to determine if the insect approaching the lure belongs to the at least one target insect species using the one or more output signals. In some embodiments, the IPM system may comprise a plurality of EIMDs configured to communicate over a wireless network shared by the plurality of EIMDs.

APPARATUS FOR INDOOR POLLINATION, INDOOR POLLINATION SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR INDOOR POLLINATION

An apparatus for indoor pollination, an indoor pollination system and a method for indoor pollination. The apparatus for indoor pollination includes a first ultraviolet (UV) light source configured to emit pollination enhancing light, an arthropod trap, and a second UV light source housed in the arthropod trap and configured to emit arthropod attracting light. A microprocessor is configured to switch on or off the first and second UV light sources depending on pollination requirements.

Device and method for attracting and trapping flying insects

A trap for immobilizing, killing, or containing arthropods comprises a housing having walls and at least one opening, where the walls define an interior space; and a light source comprising a directional light source mounted in the interior space. The light source is constructed to emit light at one or more wavelengths ranging from 350 to 500 nm. The light source is positioned so that a majority of the light emitted from the light source is directed at one or more surfaces in the interior space. The trap also comprises a suppression element mounted in the interior space and constructed to immobilize, kill, or contain arthropods.

Insect trapping
