SHEET CONVEYANCE APPARATUS, IMAGE READING APPARATUS AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
A sheet conveyance apparatus includes a drive transmission mechanism configured to transmit a driving force from a driving source to a rotary conveyance member. The drive transmission mechanism includes a shaft, a first rotary member supported on the shaft and configured to rotate by being driven by the driving source, a second rotary member supported on the shaft and configured to rotate the rotary conveyance member, a drive transmission member provided movably in an axial direction of the shaft, and configured to transmit the driving force between the first rotary member and the second rotary member, and a moving unit configured to move the drive transmission member to a transmission position and a release position. The drive transmission member engages the first and second rotary members with each other at the transmission position, and releases engagement of the first and second rotary members at the release position.
CIPP liner feed roller
A CIPP liner feed roller for manipulating and feeding CIPP liner by pulling CIPP liner from a liner source and feeding it to where it is needed. The CIPP liner feed roller generally includes a main roller attached to a frame, a clamping roller attached to the frame and configured to be in parallel with the main roller, wherein the distance between the clamping roller and the main roller can be adjusted using one or more actuators, a drive unit comprising a motor configured to control the rotation of the main roller within the frame, a controller coupled to the drive unit and the one or more actuators, wherein the controller is configured to control the rotation of the main roller and the distance between the clamping roller and the main roller, and a support beam attached the frame and configured to be in parallel with the main roller.
Medium conveying apparatus for moving an imaging device in conjunction with a thickness of a medium
A medium conveying apparatus includes an imaging device to image a medium and configured to move in a moving direction, a roller configured to move in the moving direction, on an upstream side of the imaging device, a conveyance guide provided with the imaging device to move the imaging device, wherein the conveyance guide includes a slope for coming into contact with the medium, an engaging member provided with the imaging device to move the imaging device, and a moving member to move the imaging device by engaging with the engaging member in conjunction with a movement of the roller. The engaging member and the moving member are configured to be separated at a distance from one another when the medium is not conveyed. The moving member moves the imaging device by engaging with the engaging member only when the medium has a thickness greater than the distance.
DOOR-ACTUATED FEED ROLL SEPARATOR FOR AN IMAGING DEVICE
An imaging device having a door-actuated feed roll separator mechanism. A pair of opposed panels of a frame of the imaging device are positioned parallel to a media path. A feed roll pair in the media path has a drive roll fixedly and rotatably mounted between the panels and a backup roll mounted to a pair of release assemblies that are slidably mounted to the panels. Biasing members bias the backup roll into contact with the drive roll forming a feed nip. A door pivotally mounted along a bottom end to the frame substantially covers the media path. A pair of tethers connect the pair of release assemblies to the door. With the door lowered, its weight applies a release force to the backup roll separating it from the drive roll to allow for easier removal of a media sheet jammed in the feed nip
Sheet conveying device and image forming apparatus including sheet conveying device
A sheet conveying device includes a first conveyance roller, a sheet conveyance path, a second conveyance roller, and a pair of bearing portions. The first conveyance roller is provided in an apparatus main body. The sheet conveyance path has a guide surface that guides a sheet member in a sheet conveyance direction. The second conveyance roller is rotatably attached to the guide surface via a shaft and abuts on the first conveyance roller by a predetermined pressing force. The bearing portions are provided on the guide surface and support the shaft. Each bearing portion includes a concave groove portion and a bush member. The concave groove portion is formed on the guide surface such that a groove depth direction is perpendicular to the guide surface. The bush member is attached to the concave groove portion so as to be slidable in the groove depth direction and support the shaft.
SHEET CONVEYING APPARATUS AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
A sheet conveying apparatus includes: a first pair of conveying rollers for conveying a sheet; a second pair of conveying rollers against which the leading edge of the sheet conveyed by the first pair of conveying rollers is hit and which conveys the sheet together with the first pair of conveying rollers by rotating after a loop is formed on the sheet; a separating portion for separating the first pair of conveying rollers; a first conveyance path for guiding the sheet; a second conveyance path which is a path different from the first conveyance path and guides the sheet; and a controller which changes a separation timing at which the first pair of conveying rollers is separated after the loop is formed on the sheet, depending on whether the sheet is guided by the first conveyance path or by the second conveyance path.
Image-forming apparatus
An image-forming apparatus contains an image-forming portion, a first conveying portion that is arranged at an upstream side of the image-forming portion along a sheet conveying direction, a second conveying portion that is arranged at an upstream side of the first conveying portion along the sheet conveying direction and a control portion. The control portion controls the first conveying portion to move a pair of registration rollers along a direction that is orthogonal to the sheet conveying direction while the pair of registration rollers nips the sheet when conveying the sheet to the image-forming portion. The control portion controls the second conveying portion to move one of the pair of conveying rollers along the direction that is orthogonal to the sheet conveying direction while the pair of conveying rollers does not nip the sheet.
Sheet Conveying Apparatus
A sheet conveying apparatus, including a conveyer to convey a sheet in a predetermined conveying direction along a predetermined conveyer path, and a discharger forming a part of the conveyer to discharge the sheet from the conveyer path, is provided. The discharger includes a driving roller, a pinch roller arranged to confront the driving roller across the conveyer path, and an urging member to urge the pinch roller against the driving roller. The conveyer includes a chute member. The chute member includes a guiding face defining a part of the conveyer path, a supporting face to support one end of the urging member, and a contact face located on a particular face of the chute member opposite from the supporting face. The sheet conveying apparatus includes a plate member made of metal arranged to extend in a direction intersecting with the conveying direction and to contact the contact face.
WEB TRANSPORTING APPARATUS, WEB TRANSPORTING METHOD, IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS, AND IMAGE FORMING METHOD
A web transporting method includes a drive roller (Gd), N (where N is an integer of 1 or greater) driven rollers (Gn) which nip a wound portion of a web between the drive roller and the driven rollers, and a tension application unit which applies a tension Tl to a portion of the web which is one side of the wound portion and applies a tension Th which is higher than the tension Tl to a portion of the web which is opposite the one side of the wound portion, in which an angle θ0, an angle θ(n), a load P(n), a static friction coefficient μ0, and a static friction coefficient μ(n) satisfy a predetermined relational expression (expression 1).
Paper transfer device
A paper transfer includes a first paper guide plate, a second paper guide plate, and a draw-out guide member. The first paper guide plate has a transfer roller for transferring a paper while guiding one face of the paper. The second paper guide plate that can be drawn out while facing to the first paper guide plate, and has a driven roller driven while pressing the transfer roller with the paper interposed therebetween to guide another face of the paper. The draw-out guide member is formed so as to release a nip between the transfer roller and the driven roller by separating the driven roller from the transfer roller when the first paper guide plate is drawn out in an engaged state where the draw-out member is engaged with an engagement portion provided on the second paper guide plate.
