A sheet conveyance apparatus includes a body portion and a guide unit having a first and second guides. Where an openable portion in the body portion is closed, a first conveyance path is formed between the first guide and a third guide in the openable portion and a second conveyance path is formed between the second guide and the body portion, and a sheet is conveyed from the first conveyance path to the second conveyance path by passing through a gap between the guide unit and a downstream end of the third guide. In a state where the openable portion is open, the guide unit moves with respect to the openable portion so the second guide faces the third guide and the gap between the guide unit and the downstream end of the third guide becomes larger than the gap in a state where the openable portion is closed.

In an example, a clamp may include a roller disposed on a swingarm, a slide disposed on the swingarm that may apply friction against the roller in a first position and in a second position, a cam to engage with the slide, and a latch to retain the slide in the second position. The slide may move from the first position to the second position as the slide moves along the cam, and the slide may apply a greater friction against the roller in the second position than in the first position.
Printing device and ejection control module
A printing device includes a sheet placement plate, an ejection roller module and an ejection control module. The ejection roller module is located near the sheet placement plate to eject at least one paper sheet. The ejection control module is connected with the ejection roller module. The ejection roller module is selectively in a released state or an ejection state under control of the ejection control module. When the ejection roller module is in the released state, the at least one paper sheet is transferred to the sheet placement plate through the ejection roller module. The ejection roller module is in the ejection state, the at least one paper sheet is outputted by the ejection roller module.

The present disclosure is in one aspect to a dispenser for rolled sheet materials. The dispenser includes a feed roller that is rotatably mounted to a housing of the dispenser housing, and that is configured to feed a predetermined amount of sheet material from the supply of sheet material through a discharge provided along the housing of the dispenser. The dispenser also has a feed roller drive assembly with a drive motor, and a belt transmission assembly. The belt transmission assembly has a drive belt coupled to the drive motor and to the feed roller such that rotation of the feed roller is driven by operation of the drive motor.

A rotating device includes: an opening-closing portion supported so as to be openable and closable with respect to a support body; a drive unit provided on the support body; a first rotating body provided on the support body and rotated by a drive force of the drive unit; a driven portion provided in the opening-closing portion; a second rotating body provided in the opening-closing portion, rotated by a transmitted rotational force, and transmitting the rotational force to the driven portion; and an annular body formed in an annular shape, wound around the first rotating body and the second rotating body, maintaining the winding state in both an open state and a closed state of the opening-closing portion, and transmitting the rotational force of the first rotating body to the second rotating body.

A sheet transport device includes a pair of movable transport rollers capable of transporting a sheet while holding the sheet and moving in an axial direction crossing a transportation direction; pairs of first transport rollers upstream from the pair of movable transport rollers in the transportation direction while being spaced apart from each other to transport the sheet while holding the sheet; and pairs of transport guides to define sheet transport spaces between the pair of movable transport rollers and the pairs of first transport rollers and between the pairs of first transport rollers. When the pair of movable transport rollers is to be moved in the axial direction, at least one pair of first transport rollers transports the sheet while bending the sheet in the transport space by producing a difference in transport rate within a portion of a section upstream from the pair of movable transport rollers.

A sheet transport device includes a pair of movable transport rollers capable of transporting a sheet while holding the sheet and capable of moving in an axial direction crossing a transportation direction; pairs of first transport rollers disposed at a distance from each other upstream from the pair of movable transport rollers in the transportation direction to transport the sheet while holding the sheet; and pairs of first transport guides disposed to define sheet transport spaces between the pair of movable transport rollers and the pairs of first transport rollers and between the pairs of first transport rollers. A sheet processing apparatus includes a discharge unit, a loading unit, an abutting unit, a support unit, and a control unit. The discharge unit discharges, from a discharge port, a sheet bundle transported along a transport path. The loading unit is loaded by the sheet bundle being discharged onto the loading unit. The abutting unit is disposed forward from the discharge port in a discharge direction of the sheet bundle so that the abutting unit abuts with a top surface of the discharged sheet bundle. The support unit is protrusible from and retractable into the discharge port and protrudes to an underside of the sheet bundle temporarily to support the sheet bundle when the sheet bundle is discharged. The control unit controls movement of the support unit such that the support unit reaches a position of the abutting unit after the sheet bundle abuts with the abutting unit.
