A sheet transport device includes a pair of movable transport rollers capable of transporting a sheet while holding the sheet and capable of moving in an axial direction crossing a transportation direction; pairs of first transport rollers disposed upstream from the pair of movable transport rollers in the transportation direction while being spaced apart from each other to transport the sheet while holding the sheet; and pairs of transport guides disposed to define sheet transport spaces between the pair of movable transport rollers and the pairs of first transport rollers and between the pairs of first transport rollers. When the pair of movable transport rollers is to be moved in the axial direction, first transport rollers in at least one of the pairs of first transport rollers are separated not to hold at least part of a portion of the transported sheet located upstream from the pair of movable transport rollers.

A conveying system and a battery production system are provided. The conveying system is used for sheet conveying, and includes: a driving roller making contact with a sheet; and a press roller arranged correspondingly to the driving roller, the press roller abutting against at least part of the surface of the sheet facing away from the driving roller and pressing the sheet against the driving roller. The press roller includes: a main shaft with a central axis; at least one hollow rubber roller detachably sleeving the main shaft; and at least one pair of fixing clamp rings arranged on two sides of the hollow rubber roller along the central axis so as to fix the position of the hollow rubber roller on the main shaft along the central axis, where an outer diameter of the fixing clamp ring is less than that of the hollow rubber roller.

A sheet conveyance apparatus includes a cover unit having a first guide, a base unit to support the cover unit in an openable and closable manner, and having a second guide, the first guide and the second guide forming a conveyance path in a state where the cover unit is closed with respect to the base unit, and a sheet feeding unit detachable from the cover unit. In addition, a cover member is supported by the cover unit to be pivotable between a closed position and covers at least a portion of the feeding unit and an open position where the portion of the feeding unit is exposed. The cover member moves from the closed position to the open position by being pressed by the holder while the feeding unit is detached from the cover unit.

A sheet conveying device includes a first sheet conveyance passage, a second sheet conveyance passage, a pair of sheet conveying rollers, and a movable member. The second sheet conveyance passage is different from the first sheet conveyance passage. The pair of sheet conveying rollers includes two rollers configured to hold a sheet passing the first sheet conveyance passage. The movable member is configured to convey the sheet passing the second sheet conveyance passage. The two rollers are configured to be separated from each other along with movement of the movable member.

A separating unit for separating a web material includes a first shaft extending along a first longitudinal axis in the width direction and a second shaft extending along a second longitudinal axis, parallel to the first shaft. A first protrusion element extends perpendicularly from the first shaft and is rotatable about the first longitudinal axis and a second protrusion element extends perpendicularly from the second shaft and is rotatable about the second longitudinal axis. In a use position, the first protrusion element partially overlaps the second protrusion element with a radial overlap oriented perpendicular to the first and second shafts. A contact element is biased against at least one of the first and second protrusion elements in a direction perpendicular to the first or second longitudinal axis.

The support portion of the flexible plate body is located on an upstream side in the sheet conveying direction with respect to the conveying nip region. The free end being located on a downstream side in the sheet conveying direction with respect to the conveying nip region.

The first arm and the second arm are moveable together from a first position adjacent a flexible material supply and a second position adjacent entry to the material spreader, and the material retainer is in the second configuration when the moveable arms are in the first position, and the material retainer is in the first configuration when the moveable arms are in the second position.
