In an image forming apparatus, a tray having first and second receiving portions is configured to move between a first position, at which at least part of the tray is positioned inside an apparatus body, and a second position, at which the tray is outside the apparatus body. The tray in the first position allows a first recording medium to be conveyed from the first receiving portion. When the tray is in the first position, the second receiving portion is configured to move between a third position, which is at an upstream side relative to a first opening of the apparatus body in a second direction, and a fourth position, which is at a downstream side relative to the third position in the second direction. The second receiving portion at the third position allows a second recording medium to be conveyed from the second receiving portion in the second direction.

A device for separating cards in single sheet includes: a support frame, and a driving shaft movably mounted on the support frame, a separating wheel being provided on the driving shaft. The driving shaft is movable freely up and down on the support frame, and an elastic component is provided between the driving shaft and the support frame. The elastic component has one end fixed to the support frame, and another end mounted on the driving shaft, which allows the separating wheel to always keep a downward pressure to cards under the action of an elastic force. The elastic component in contact with the driving shaft provides downward pressure to the driving shaft, thus the separating wheel always keeps downward pressure to the cards under the action of the elastic force.
SHEET FEEDING APPARATUS AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
A sheet feeding apparatus includes a sheet supporting portion, a sheet feeding portion including a rotary feeding member and a driving portion, an air separating portion configured to perform a blowing operation that blows air on a side surface of the sheets supported by the sheet supporting portion, and a control portion. In a case where a job for feeding sheets is started, the control portion is configured to move the rotary feeding member from the separation position to the abutment position, causes the air separating portion to perform the blowing operation in a state where the rotary feeding member is positioned at the abutment position, and after the blowing operation, causes the sheet feeding portion to feed a plurality of sheets in a state where the control portion stops the blowing operation, by driving the driving portion.

A sheet feeder includes: a multi-purpose tray; a guide roller provided at an end of the multi-purpose tray to come into contact a recording paper sheet protruding from the end of the multi-purpose tray; a spring member that supports the guide roller elastically and movably in upward and downward directions; and a pick-up roller that is disposed apart from the end of the multi-purpose tray movably in the upward and downward directions and, when moved downward, pulls out the recording paper sheet protruding across an upper side of a peripheral surface of the guide roller from the end of the multi-purpose tray while being pressed against a leading end portion of the recording paper sheet.
WRAPPING AND TENSIONING DEVICE
A tape wrapping and dispensing device for wrapping stretchable tape around a pipe. The device has at least three tension rollers that are mounted at the dispensing end of a support plate, the tension rollers defining a first nip between an upper and intermediate roller and a second nip between the intermediate roller and a lower dispensing roller. In use, a free end of the stretchable tape can be removed from the supply roll and passed, first, between the first nip and then between the second nip before being secured to a pipe or other elongate body, and then, with the lower dispensing roller in direct contact with the stretchable tape secured to the pipe or other elongate body, the device can be moved in a first circumferential direction around the pipe to cause rotation of the lower dispensing roller and simultaneously dispense and wind the tape therearound.

A winding core holder includes a holder main body, a lifter to raise and lower the holder main body, and a roller movably held relative to the holder main body, enabling the winding core to be placed and moved in the winding core axial direction. A sheet transporting device includes: plural pairs of transporting rolls that are arranged adjacent to one another in a direction of transport of a sheet; and a component configured to switch individual positions of the plural pairs of transporting rolls between a nipping position and an unnipping position, the component being a single switching component capable of switching a state of nipping by the plural pairs of transporting rolls between a state where all of the plural pairs of transporting rolls are in the nipping position, a state where some of the plural pairs of transporting rolls are in the nipping position while remaining ones of the plural pairs of transporting rolls are in the unnipping position, and a state where all of the plural pairs of transporting rolls are in the unnipping position.
