The tool moving device is configured to move the processing tool in a direction intersecting a conveyance direction of the sheet. The tool facing device has an opposing face and is disposed at a position at which the tool facing portion faces the processing tool via the sheet. The tool facing device is configured to move to change the tool facing portion in accordance with a relative moving direction of the sheet with respect to the processing tool when the processing tool performs the processing to the sheet.

A sheet processing apparatus is configured to press a fold line that is formed on a sheet. The sheet processing apparatus includes: a sheet supporting unit configured to support the sheet in a pressing direction for pressing the fold line; a pressing unit configured to press the fold line that is formed on the sheet that is supported by the sheet supporting unit; and a pressing-force generating unit configured to generate a pressing force for pressing the sheet supporting unit against the pressing unit at a central part in a direction along which the fold line is formed.
Transporting sheets of print media
Certain examples described herein relate to transporting sheets of print media. In one example, a media transport apparatus has a plurality of media transport sections including a first media transport section and a second media transport section offset from the first media transport section in a media transport direction. The media transport apparatus has a holding section arranged to receive a sheet of print media from the first media transport section. The holding section is moveable to deposit the sheet of print media upon the second media transport section.

The media duplexing apparatus may include a second media roller assembly and a media diverter. The media diverter may be movable to a first position or to a second position to route a medium in the imaging device.

A sheet processing apparatus includes a rotatable pressing member, a guide, and a contact member. The rotatable pressing member includes a pressing portion that is disposed in a predetermined range in a rotation direction of the pressing member to press a folded portion of a sheet. Provided are a rubber composition which is a base of a roller main body and capable of imparting favorable flexibility to the roller main body while maintaining high abrasion resistance to form, for example, a paper feeding roller that has a favorable paper feeding performance and can be used as a paper supply roller or the like; and a paper feeding roller in which the roller main body is formed using the rubber composition. There is provided a rubber composition contains a rubber that includes 20 to 80 parts by mass of a non-oil extended EPDM having an ethylene content of 55% to 72%, and an oil extended EPDM; and 20 parts by mass or less of a filler and 2.5 parts by mass or more of a peroxide crosslinking agent per 100 parts by mass of the rubber.
RUBBER COMPOSITION AND PAPER FEEDING ROLLER FORMED OF THE SAME
Provided are a rubber composition capable of imparting a high tensile strength to a roller main body so as to be able to be used for equipment that allows paper to pass through at high speed, while maintaining high abrasion resistance of the roller main body and a favorable paper feeding performance of the paper feeding roller; and a paper feeding roller. There is provided a rubber composition contains: a rubber that includes a non-oil extended EPDM having an ethylene content of 55 to 72%; and more than 20 parts by mass and 30 parts by mass or less of a filler, and 2.5 parts by mass or more of a peroxide crosslinking agent per 100 parts by mass of the rubber, in which the filler contains 15 to 30 parts by mass of an amorphous silica per 100 parts by mass of the rubber.
REGISTRATION SYSTEM OF A PRINTING DEVICE WITH MULTI-ROTATIONAL WHEELS
A registration system for a printing device and a method for controlling the same are disclosed. For example, the registration system includes at least one sensor to detect a position of a print media, a platform comprising at least one multi-rotational wheel, and a processor communicatively coupled to the at least one sensor and the at least one multi-rotational wheel, wherein the processor calculates a desired movement of the at least one multi-rotational wheel based on the position of the print media.
IMAGE READING APPARATUS AND IMAGE READING METHOD
An image reading apparatus according to an embodiment includes a first sensor, a roller, a correction unit, a second sensor, a control unit, and a scanner. Upstream to downstream positions with regard to a transportation direction of the sheet are determined in the following order: the first position, a second position, a third position. The first sensor detects the presence or absence of a fold of the sheet in the first position. If it is detected in the first position that the fold is present, the roller transports a sheet in a reverse transportation direction. The correction unit corrects the fold in the first position. The second sensor detects the presence or absence of the fold in the second position. If it is detected in the second position that the fold is present, the control unit controls drive of the roller in such a manner that the sheet is transported up to the first position in the reverse transportation direction. The scanner reads an image on the sheet of which the fold is corrected in the first position.
