The first belt may partially encircle the drum. The tape may have a first end attached to the drum and a second end attached to a spool. Upon rotation of the drum in a first direction, a first side of a media object may contact the tape and a second side of the media object may contact the first belt.

In some examples, a sheet-processing machine includes a transport unit for transporting sheets. The transport unit includes a feed roller configured as an infeed roller and a feed roller configured as a diverting roller, which define a transport plane of sheets. At least two further feed rollers of the transport unit are arranged outside the transport plane. At least one feed roller of the at least two further feed rollers is configured as a pivoting roller that pivots and/or that can be pivoted about a pivot axis. The pivot axis of the pivoting roller is an axis that is normal of an axis of rotation of the pivoting roller, and the pivoting roller is configured to automatically pivot about the pivot axis.
BELT CONVEYANCE DEVICE AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
The belt conveyance device includes a plurality of rollers, a belt, a meandering correction part, and an adjustment part. The rollers are disposed at intervals each other and rotate around axes. The belt is disposed around the plurality of rollers and travels. The meandering correction part shifts one end portion in an axial direction of a tension roller included in the plurality of rollers in a radial direction within a predetermined range to correct a meandering of the belt. The adjustment part shifts the other end portion in the axial direction of the tension roller in the radial direction such that a position of the one end portion of the tension roller is variable under a state where the meandering of the belt is corrected.
IMAGING SYSTEM
An imaging system includes: a steering roller located between a first belt roller and a second belt roller, that is inclinable around a fulcrum; and a sensor to detect an amount of displacement of the steering roller due to an inclination of the steering roller. A controller may output a command signal when the amount of displacement of the steering roller exceeds a reference value.

As viewed from a direction perpendicular to a width direction of an intermediate transfer belt, a phase of shape of the first restriction portion in a state of being held by the first frame and a phase of shape of the second restriction portion in a state of being held by the second frame are equal to each other.
TENSIONING APPARATUS FOR STRAPS AND METHOD OF USING THE TENSIONING APPARATUS
A tensioning apparatus tensions straps, and in particular is configured to tension belts. In order to achieve good tensioning characteristics, the tensioning apparatus has a dynamically acting element, and by use of the dynamically acting element a transmission of force takes place indirectly in the case of the tensioning apparatus.
Media transport
A media transport system, includes a transport path, a drive gear at one end of the transport path, a driven gear at an opposite end of the transport path, an endless loop transmission element engaged with the drive gear and the driven gear, a media clamp secured to the endless loop transmission element, and a one-way clutch coupled with the driven gear. The endless loop transmission element is to rotate in one direction to move the media clamp and transport media from the one end of the transport path toward the opposite end of the transport path, and the one-way clutch is to allow rotation of the driven gear in the one direction and resist rotation of the driven gear in an opposite direction.

A device (10) for optically controlling a face (13) of a blank (12) has a vacuum conveyor (20) capable of transporting the blank (12) along a path of travel (15) and which includes a conveyor belt (22) having an apertured structure of which the conveying path follows the path of travel (15) of the blank (12). A suction device (40) is suitable for pressing the blank (12) against the conveyor belt (14). An inspection device (30) inspects the face (13) of the blank (12) during its conveyance by the vacuum conveyor (20). The inspection device is located on the side opposite the vacuum conveyor (20). The suction device (40) delimits three separate successive suction sections (41, 42, 43) along the path of travel (15), including a central suction section (42) that extends opposite the inspection device (30), an upstream suction section (41) and a downstream suction section (43).

A transport device includes a first belt member, a second belt member, a first roller, a second roller, a third roller, a fourth roller, a fifth roller, and a sixth roller. The second belt member is in contact with the first belt member to form a contact portion in cooperation with the first belt member.
