A recording medium conveying device includes an endless belt to convey a recording medium, a plurality of support rollers around which the belt is wound, to rotate the belt, and a cleaner in contact with the belt to clean the belt. One of the plurality of support rollers is a separation support roller, mounted on a tiltable rotary shaft, to separate the recording medium from the belt using a curvature of the separation support roller. The separation support roller includes a contact member to contact an edge of the belt when the belt laterally moves toward one side of the belt.

The present invention relates to a rewinding machine equipped with a support system for the reel and the ribbon-like product.

In particular, the invention relates to a rewinding machine (1) for a ribbon-like product (N), comprising: a fixed support structure which supports an unwinding unit (SV) and a rewinding unit (RB); an independent first carrier roller (2), movable along a direction parallel to a support surface of the rewinding machine (1); a second independent carrier roller (4), movable in the opposite direction with respect to the first carrier roller (2); a third roller (3), placed between the first (2) and second (4) carrier rollers and movable integrally with the first carrier roller (2); a set of driving rollers (110) placed along a path between the unwinding unit (SV) and the rewinding unit (RB); a web (10), forming at least one loop, made of a material with an air-permeable texture, said web (10) unwinding between the second carrier roller (4), the third roller (3), and the set of driving rollers (110); one or more suction boxes (6) placed under the web (10) to retain the ribbon-like product (N).

A medium transport device includes a belt unit that is a unit having a transport belt configured to attract and transport a medium and that is rotatably supported on both sides in a width direction, which intersects a medium transport direction; a first support section that is disposed on one side of the belt unit in the width direction and that rotatably supports the belt unit; a second support section that is disposed on the other side of the belt unit in the width direction and that rotatably supports the belt unit; and a motor that is a power source for rotating the belt unit with respect to the first support section and the second support section, wherein: a handwheel is configured to be attached to and detached from an output shaft of the motor or a rotation shaft on a power transmission mechanism that transmits power from the motor to the belt unit.

According to an embodiment of a tension maintaining device of a media transport belt, a device for maintaining tension of a belt to ensure a gripping force of the belt for gripping and transporting bundled media, in which a plurality of pieces of media are stacked, includes a rotation shaft; a link member coupled to the rotation shaft while having a predetermined length in a direction parallel to the longitudinal direction of the belt, and provided to be rotatable about the rotation shaft in response to a change in the number of pieces of the bundled media in contact with the belt; a first roller rotatably coupled to a first roller shaft provided at one end of the link member and maintained in contact with the belt; and a second roller rotatably coupled to a second roller shaft provided at the other end of the link member and maintained in contact with the belt.
