The present invention relates to the application of a concentrate in diluted form. Subject matters of the present invention are a device and a method for application of a concentrate in diluted form. A further subject matter of the present invention is use of the device according to the invention in the area of agriculture, in particular for treating cultivated plants with plant protection agents and/or nutrients.

AGRICULTURAL CROP APPLICATION SYSTEM

A product applicator system for dispensing various products onto a ground surface is provided. The system provides an assembly of a protective tube and applicator that protects the product as it travels from the boom to the ground surface. The assembly may include a swivel connection facilitating a rotational movement of the hose assembly to the supporting boom. The protective tube assembly is designed with bending properties that enable the applicator to self-center itself during use.

A sprayer boom support for an agricultural sprayer including two articulated arms that are coupled in an articulated manner on both sides of the sprayer, wherein each articulated arm is comprised of bar sections that are formed in a composite material consisting of a reinforcing agent chosen from carbon fibre, fibreglass, aramid fibre, boron fibre or a combination thereof, and a matrix of epoxy, vinyl ester, phenolic or polyester resin, the bar sections having a tube geometry with a substantially rectangular cross section with rounded vertices and arched sides, the length of two of its equal sides being constant along the bar section.

Boom center section with bulkhead connections

A boom center section for an agricultural machine includes a bulkhead having a first end and a second end, at least one bulkhead opening located adjacent at least one of the first and the second ends of the bulkhead, and at least one connection assembly disposed within the at least one bulkhead opening. Each bulkhead opening is formed through a first wall of the bulkhead. Each connection assembly includes a plurality of connectors.

PENDULUM BOOM SUSPENSION

One or more techniques and/or systems are disclosed for a suspended center frame attached to boom wings, and coupled to a fixed center frame. A suspended center frame can be suspended from a fixed center frame with a bearing at a pivot point to allow for pivoting in multiple axes. The suspended frame can comprise one or more dampers that are operably, pivotably coupled with the fixed frame to dampen movement of the suspended frame in the roll axis; and one or more connecting links that are operably, pivotably coupled with the fixed frame to control movement of the suspended frame in the yaw and/or pitch axis. The pivot point can be located above the center of gravity of a suspended portion of the system, and proximate a top portion of the fixed frame; and the links and dampers can be disposed at a bottom portion of the suspended frame.

A system for actuating a sensor of an agricultural sprayer may include a boom assembly and a sensor assembly supported on a portion of the boom assembly. The sensor assembly may include a field sensor movable relative to the portion of the boom assembly between an extended position and a retracted position, where the field sensor generates data indicative of one or more field conditions when in the extended position. The sensor assembly may further include a sensor actuator that moves the field sensor between the extended and retracted positions, and a controller that controls the sensor actuator to move the field sensor between the extended and retracted positions. The field sensor is spaced relative to the portion of the boom assembly by a larger distance when in the extended position than when in the retracted position.

The boom-positioning mechanism includes a positioning actuator, and a telescoping parallel linkage providing constant spacing between the boom and the frame in the raised boom position and lowered boom position. The positioning actuator is configured to place the boom in the raised boom configuration upon elongation and in the lowered boom position upon retraction. The agricultural sprayer may further include a controller for positioning the boom relative to an underlying surface.

Each damper assembly includes a housing, at least one rubber element disposed within the housing, a plunger having a first end in contact with the at least one rubber element, and a stop coupled to a second end of the plunger. The first and second brackets are pivotably coupled to each other so that the breakaway boom section pivots between a first position and a second position. The damper system is configured to prevent over-pivoting and reduce impact load of the breakaway boom section when pivoting to the first and second positions.
