DROP-DOWN APPLICATORS FOR AN AGRICULTURAL SPRAYER
An agricultural vehicle is moveable across a surface. The agricultural vehicle includes a chassis, a traction member coupled to the chassis with the traction member configured to engage the surface and move the chassis relative to the surface, a holding tank coupled to the chassis with the holding tank configured to support agricultural matter, a support boom coupled to the chassis, and a plurality of applicator assemblies. Each applicator assembly of the plurality of applicator assemblies includes a resilient body coupled to the support boom, a foot coupled to the body with the foot configured to be biased into engagement with the surface via the resiliency of the body, and a nozzle. The nozzle is in communication with the holding tank and configured to dispense the agricultural matter.
Tire configuration system for an agricultural machine
An operator can interact with a user interface to input tire configuration information for a tires installed on an agricultural machine so that a control system of the machine can accurately apply information about the tires to display calculated parameters and/or control machine functions. In one aspect, the input could correspond to custom information for tires which the controller could use to derive tire dimensions, such as a rolling circumference of the tire, for calculating parameters. In another aspect, the input could correspond to a selection among several predetermined tire configurations. The controller can then apply the tire dimension to calculate one or more parameters, such as speed and/or distance traveled, for display, and/or to control various machine functions, such as an agricultural product application rate, steering, driveline and/or suspension control.
Crop Spraying Vehicle
A self-leveling crop spraying apparatus is carried by a prime mover. The crop spraying apparatus includes first and second masts, and first and second opposed pendulum arm frame members slidingly engaged to the first and second masts. A pendulum arm extends through the first and second opposed pendulum arm frame members. The first and second pendulum assemblies are coupled to opposed ends of the pendulum arm, and a carriage assembly is carried by the first and second pendulum assemblies. The carriage assembly is rotatable relative to the first and second masts and first and second opposed pendulum arm frame members.
Adjustable row unit and sprayer vehicle with adjustable row unit
A first leg extends upward from the left frame and a second leg extends upward from the right frame to connect the legs to the beam. One or more satellite navigation receivers are associated with beam to determine a position and an attitude of the beam. One or more row units are suspended from the beam, such that the position of nozzle or nozzles on each row unit can be adjusted simultaneously and dynamically in multiple dimensions to maintain a target spacing between the nozzle and ground and the nozzle and a plant or row of plants.
System for balancing and tilt biasing a self-leveling crop spraying apparatus
A crop spraying vehicle includes a mast arm having a mast arm sleeve slidingly engaged with it. A crop spraying apparatus is coupled to the mast arm sleeve with a pendulum arm. The engagement between the mast arm and mast arm sleeve restricts and allows the transverse and longitudinal rotation, respectively, of the crop spraying apparatus. The crop spraying apparatus includes a trim system, which is adjustable to adjust the rotation of the crop spraying apparatus.
Front-Boom Sprayer With Improved Field Of View
A front-boom sprayer is provided that includes a boom center section and lift arm arrangement that provides a field of view below the boom when the boom is in a raised state that is substantially free of view obstructions from torque tube or other crosswise-extending components. The lift arm arrangement may provide different link tube geometries so that the respective left and right pairs of upper and lower lift arms align with each other in the line of sight of the in-cab operator.
Front-boom sprayer with a boom center section and lift arm arrangement for improved field of view
Sprayer Boom Support For Agricultural Sprayer
A sprayer boom support for an agricultural sprayer including two articulated arms that are coupled in an articulated manner on both sides of the sprayer, wherein each articulated arm is comprised of bar sections that are formed in a composite material consisting of a reinforcing agent chosen from carbon fibre, fibreglass, aramid fibre, boron fibre or a combination thereof, and a matrix of epoxy, vinyl ester, phenolic or polyester resin, the bar sections having a tube geometry with a substantially rectangular cross section with rounded vertices and arched sides, the length of two of its equal sides being constant along the bar section.
Sprayer fluid operation system
Embodiments of a spray fluid operation system include a fluid flow circuit that provides several sprayer features while using a minimum number of fluid pumps. In an agricultural setting, a first pump (one function of which is filling) is integrated with a second pump (one function of which is spraying) and both located compactly underneath the solution tank. In some embodiments that include only two pumps, they are centrifugal impeller pumps. Each of the two pumps is capable of performing more than one function. Together, they provide self-primed filling, auto dilution, eductor rinsing, and so on, in a fluid-isolated manner to avoid fluid contamination.
Apparatus for weeding a ground by a high-pressure working fluid
An apparatus for the spraying of an area of interest (S) of a high-pressure working fluid (V) wherein the apparatus is susceptible to move relatively to the ground (S) along a direction of reciprocal advancement (d) and it comprises at least one tank (2) for the working fluid (V), at least one outlet nozzle (41) and a fluid connecting line (4) extending from the tank (2) towards the outlet nozzle (41). The apparatus further comprises supply means (5) of the working fluid (V) that include a high-pressure pump and at least one spraying device (10) placed along the fluid connecting line (4) the former (5) upstream with respect to the latter (10). Furthermore, the spraying device (10) comprises a support structure (11) that comprises a first plate (12), motor means (35) acting upon the first plate (12) to promote the eccentric rotation thereof around a first axis (Z) and at least one manifold (42) placed on the first plate (12) to move integrally therewith. In particular, the latter (42) comprises at least one outlet nozzle (41) oriented so as to spray a jet of working fluid (V) towards the ground (S). The first plate (12) is mounted movable with said support structure (11) so that upon the movement along the direction of reciprocal advancement (d) of the apparatus (1) and of the ground (S), the jet flowing from the outlet nozzle (41) hits the latter with helical path.
