SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR MONITORING AGRICULTURAL FLUID DEPOSITION RATE DURING A SPRAYING OPERATION
A system for monitoring the operation of an agricultural sprayer includes a computing system is configured to determine a movement parameter associated with the movement of a boom assembly of the agricultural sprayer relative to a frame of the agricultural sprayer based on data captured by a movement sensor. Furthermore, the computing system is configured to determine the distance between a spray nozzle of the agricultural sprayer and the underlying crop canopy or field surface based on data captured by a position sensor. Additionally, the computing system is configured to determine a spray deposition parameter indicative of a rate at which agricultural fluid is deposited on the underlying crop canopy or field surface based on the determined movement parameter and the determined distance.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR DISPENSING AGRICULTURAL FLUIDS ONTO PLANTS PRESENT WITHIN A FIELD BASED ON PLANT SIZE
A system for dispensing agricultural fluids onto plants present within a field includes a sensor configured to capture data associated with the plant and a computing system communicatively coupled to the sensor. In this respect, the computing system is configured to receive an input associated with the pesticide present within the agricultural fluid. Furthermore, the computing system is configured to determine a size parameter associated with the plant based on the data captured by the sensor. Moreover, the computing system is configured to determine a selected amount of the pesticide to be dispensed onto the plant based on determined size parameter and the received input associated with the pesticide. Additionally, the computing system is configured to control an operation of the nozzle such that a volume of the agricultural fluid containing the selected amount of the pesticide is dispensed onto the plant.
LOCALIZED PRODUCT INJECTION SYSTEM FOR AN AGRICULTURAL SPRAYER
A localized product injection system for use with a product dispensing system includes a product injection reservoir coupled with an injection header. One or more injection boom tubes are coupled with the injection head. A plurality of localized injection interfaces are configured for coupling at corresponding product dispensers of a plurality of product dispensers. The plurality of localized injection interfaces in communication with the one or more injection boom tubes. Each of the localized injection interfaces includes an interface valve and an injection port in communication with the interface valve. The injection port is configured for localized coupling and injection to the corresponding product dispenser. The plurality of localized injection interfaces maintains a controlled pressurized environment of an injection product to the plurality of product dispensers.
System and method for actuating a boom assembly of an agricultural sprayer
A system for actuating a boom assembly of an agricultural sprayer, the system having a frame, a boom assembly supported relative to the frame, and a linkage assembly configured to couple the boom assembly to the frame. The linkage assembly includes a support arm pivotably coupled between the frame and the boom assembly, a lift actuator pivotably coupled between the frame and the support arm and configured to raise and lower the boom assembly in a vertical direction, and a tilt actuator pivotably coupled between the frame and the boom assembly and configured to adjust a tilt angle of the boom assembly relative to the vertical direction. The system further includes a controller configured to selectively actuate the tilt actuator to adjust the tilt angle of the boom assembly to an operational tilt angle.
UNMANNED AERIAL VEHICLE (UAV) PEST ABATEMENT DEVICE
An unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) includes a carrier body, which supports at least one propulsion element, and at least one reservoir and a spraying arrangement including at least one arm to extend outward from the carrier body and at least one nozzle to spray pest abatement material.
AGRICULTURAL SPRAYING DEVICE
An agricultural spraying device includes a plurality of main dispensing units arranged on a sprayer boom, each of the main dispensing units configured for dispensing liquid onto agricultural land and including a distributor housing, the distributor housing having a liquid inlet and a plurality of liquid outlets and being configured to selectively advance liquid flowing in via the liquid inlet to a liquid outlet or distribute the liquid to a plurality of liquid outlets, and a plurality of auxiliary dispensing units, each of the auxiliary dispensing units configured to dispense the liquid onto agricultural land, a respective one of the liquid outlets of the distributor housings of the plurality of main dispensing units being connected via an additional line to a respective one of the auxiliary dispensing units.
AGRICULTURAL CROP APPLICATION SYSTEM
A product applicator system for dispensing various products onto a ground surface is provided. The system provides an assembly of a protective tube and applicator that protects the product as it travels from the boom to the ground surface. The assembly may include a swivel connection facilitating a rotational movement of the hose assembly to the supporting boom. The protective tube assembly is designed with bending properties that enable the applicator to self-center itself during use.
Liquid dispensing system
A liquid dispensing apparatus for applying liquid products to row crops. The liquid dispensing apparatus includes a plurality of drop assemblies supported by and laterally spaced along a boom structure. Each of the drop assemblies includes dribble hoses for dribbling a liquid product onto the soil in a rhizosphere of adjacent crop rows. The drop assemblies may include a spray assembly for spraying the row crops. The dribble hoses may be supported by a base unit with positionable support brackets.
AGRICULTURAL APPLICATOR AND SYSTEM
A variable width agricultural applicator is provided. The variable width agricultural applicator is attachable to a boom to apply a liquid to a crop in rows. The variable width agricultural sprayer includes a drop tube and a splitter downstream of the drop tube. The splitter is fluidly connected to the drop tube. A pair of flexible delivery tubes is fluidly connected to the splitter. Each one of the pair of flexible delivery tubes has a predetermined bend.
SYSTEM FOR SPRAYING PLANTS WITH AUTOMATED NOZZLE SELECTION
A system for spraying plants comprises a location-determining receiver for estimating a position of a sprayer with respect to one or more rows of plants. A distance sensor is arranged to measure a distance between a nozzle assembly and a plant row segment. A guidance module is adapted to align the nozzle assembly with a target path between the rows of plants, such as a centered path between the rows, or offset between the rows of the plants. A first nozzle is targeted toward a first zone with respect to the plant row segment based on a first spray pattern of the first nozzle. A second nozzle is targeted toward a second zone with respect to the plant row segment based on a second spray pattern of the second nozzle. A nozzle selection module for selecting automatically a first nozzle or a second nozzle based on maximum coverage of a target zone around the plant segment based on the first zone, the second zone, and the measured distance.
