Media output system
A printing device includes, in one example, a media output system including a mezzanine level including a plurality of media support members, the mezzanine level being intermediate to a floor level and a media output level; wherein the plurality of media support members move orthogonally relative to a print media path so that a number of finishing processes may be performed on print media accumulated on the number of media support members.
Sheet feeding apparatus and image forming apparatus
A sheet feeding apparatus includes a sheet supporting portion including a supporting surface, an abutment portion against which a leading edge of the sheet abuts, a feeding rotator configured to feed the sheet, and a first friction member provided on the supporting surface so as to face the feeding rotator. The first friction member includes a first friction surface having a static friction coefficient greater than that of the supporting surface, a trailing end supporting portion configured to support a trailing end portion of the sheet curved upward, and a second friction member disposed upstream of the first friction member in the sheet feeding direction on the supporting surface. The second friction member includes a second friction surface which has a static friction coefficient greater than that of the supporting surface and is configured to be in contact with the sheet supported by the supporting surface.
MEDIA SHEET FINISHING
An example finishing device may include a monoclamp, a carrier body, and a biasing element located between the monoclamp and the carrier body to force the monoclamp away from the carrier body.
Sheet stacking device, counter-ejector, and carton former
The present invention provides a sheet stacking device, a counter-ejector, and a carton former and is provided with: a hopper unit that stacks cardboard boxes; feed rollers that feed a cardboard box to the hopper unit; a first blower device that blows air from above the hopper unit toward the cardboard box fed by the feed rollers; and a second blower device that blows air between the cardboard box stacked in the hopper unit and the cardboard box fed by the feed roller.
CASSETTE DRAWING-IN DEVICE AND SHEET SUPPLY DEVICE
A cassette drawing-in device in an embodiment includes a lever, a guide section, and an urging member. The lever includes an engaging groove opened on a first side in a first direction. The engaging groove includes an entrance for a cassette pin at an end portion in a longitudinal direction. The cassette pin projects to a second side in the first direction from a cassette. The cassette is capable of moving in a second direction orthogonal to the first direction. The lever rotates around the rotation axis to thereby draw in, in the second direction, the cassette pin engaging in the engaging groove. The guide section is formed in the entrance of the engaging groove and guides the cassette pin to the first side in the first direction. The urging member urges the lever to the first side in the first direction.
Sheet feeding device and image forming system
A sheet feeding device comprises a bottom plate, an auxiliary tray and a tilt table. The bottom plate is configured to move along a vertical axis. The auxiliary tray is disposed on the bottom plate. The tilt table includes a lower table disposed on the bottom plate, an upper table rotatably connected to the lower table at one end of the upper table by a pivot, and a resilient member disposed between the upper table and the lower table, the resilient member configured to press the upper table upward. The auxiliary tray and the upper table are configured to receive and hold sheets in a stack.
Sheet stacking apparatus and image forming apparatus
A sheet stacking apparatus includes a sheet stacking unit configured to stack a sheet thereon and a sheet regulating unit configured to regulate a position of a sheet stacked on the sheet stacking unit. The sheet regulating unit includes a main body movable with respect to the sheet stacking unit and an operating portion having a pressable pressure surface, moved from a first position to a second position by pressing the pressure surface, and pivotably supported on the main body about a pivoting fulcrum positioned above a middle position of the pressure surface, the main body being regulated from moving with respect to the sheet stacking unit when the operating portion is in the first position, and the main body being allowed to move with respect to the sheet stacking unit when the operating portion is in the second position.
Sheet storage apparatus and printing apparatus
A sheet storage apparatus according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a receiving unit which receives a sheet that is discharged from a discharge port at a position below the discharge port, and a sheet butting unit which is provided in the vicinity of the receiving unit and receives a front end portion of the sheet. The sheet butting unit has a projection which is provided on at least one of an inner side surface and an inner upper surface of the sheet butting unit. The projection is configured to be capable of retaining a state of regulating vertically upward movement of the front end portion of the sheet being discharged from the discharge port.
Sheet feed apparatus and image processing apparatus
A sheet feed apparatus comprises a tray, a pair of first guide sections, and a first optical sensor. The tray has a housing section for accommodating a plurality of sheets. The pair of first guide sections, arranged in the tray, sandwich the sheets in a direction perpendicular to a sheet conveyance direction. The first optical sensor provided above a bottom of the housing section in at least one of the first guide sections, is configured to detect one or more of uppermost sheets accommodated in the housing section.
