The sheet feeding cartridge includes a cartridge base on which a sheet is stacked, a cartridge cover attached so as to be slidable in a width direction perpendicular to the attachment direction, a first positioning part configured to position the cartridge base to the cartridge storing part and a second positioning part configured to position the cartridge cover with respect to the side face covers in the width direction perpendicular to the attachment direction.
Image forming apparatus
An image forming apparatus includes an image reading unit, an image forming unit, a discharge unit, and a discharge tray. The image reading unit is configured to read a document placed on a document placement table by moving and scanning of a scanning body in a sub-scanning direction. The image forming unit is configured to form an image read by the image reading unit on a paper sheet. The discharge unit is configured to discharge the paper sheet on which an image is formed by the image forming unit to a direction perpendicular to the sub-scanning direction. The discharge tray is on which the paper sheet from the discharge unit is to be placed with a space portion at a lower side of the image reading unit. A bottom surface of a housing of the image reading unit facing the discharge tray is constituted of a first surface and a second surface. The first surface is a surface at a front side of the discharge unit in a discharging direction and high with respect to the discharge tray. The second surface is a surface at a back side of the discharge unit in the discharging direction lower than the first surface with respect to the discharge tray. A pulling member and/or a movable wiring are/is arranged at an upper side of the second surface inside the housing. The pulling member is configured to move the scanning body back and forth in the sub-scanning direction. One end portion of the movable wiring is secured to the scanning body.
Image forming apparatus having tray for receiving recording medium
In an image forming apparatus, a tray having first and second receiving portions is configured to move between a first position, at which at least part of the tray is positioned inside an apparatus body, and a second position, at which the tray is outside the apparatus body. The tray in the first position allows a first recording medium to be conveyed from the first receiving portion. When the tray is in the first position, the second receiving portion is configured to move between a third position, which is at an upstream side relative to a first opening of the apparatus body in a second direction, and a fourth position, which is at a downstream side relative to the third position in the second direction. The second receiving portion at the third position allows a second recording medium to be conveyed from the second receiving portion in the second direction.
PAPER SHEET STORAGE BOX AND AUTOMATIC TELLER MACHINE
Provided is a paper sheet storage unit and an automatic teller machine with which storage space can be partitioned while maintaining operability with respect to paper currency. The paper sheet storage unit is equipped with: a partition member that partitions a storage space for paper sheets into multiple storage spaces, and has a recessed portion at a position where the paper sheets are removed; and a door that has a protruding portion for filling the recessed portion at a position corresponding to the recessed portion, and that opens/closes an opening that includes the multiple storage spaces.
Mechanism for discharging sheets in apparatus for processing sheets and apparatus for reading images provided with the mechanism
In a sheet discharge mechanism for enabling a wide range of sheets stored on a sheet discharge tray from a processing section, a brake lever for reducing a velocity of a sheet fed from a sheet discharge outlet is held detachably relative to an attachment frame above the sheet discharge tray, and it is possible to select whether brake action is made corresponding to sheet discharge conditions. A sheet discharge mechanism includes a sheet discharge path having a sheet discharge outlet, a sheet discharge tray disposed on the downstream side of the sheet discharge outlet with a level difference, and a brake section of a sheet carried out at the sheet discharge outlet, wherein the brake section includes a lever member in which its base end portion is axially supported by an attachment frame, and its front end portion moves up and down corresponding to a load amount of sheets.
SHEET FEEDING DEVICE AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
A sheet feeding device for feeding a sheet includes a support unit, an open-close member rotatably supported between open and closed positions, a slide member supported in a slidably movable manner and including a rotation shaft portion, and a regulation member supported by the slide member. The open-close member supports the sheet in the open position with the support unit. The regulation member regulates a position of the sheet supported by the support unit or the sheet supported by the support unit and the open-close member. The support unit includes a guide portion that movably guides the rotation shaft portion. If the open-close member is rotated from the open position toward the closed position in a state in which the open-close member is in contact with the slide member, the slide member rotates by following movement of the open-close member with respect to the guide member.
PRINTING APPARATUS
A printing apparatus includes a printing head that prints on a printing medium, a moving member that moves reciprocally with the printing head, and a conveying member that conveys the printing medium in a direction which intersects a printing head moving direction. Also included are a module contained in a contained position in a non-printing period, and developed in a developed position in a printing period, and a drive connection member that moves the module between the contained and developed positions with conveying member drive. The drive connection member includes a trigger arm that enters a printing head moving area when the moving member is driven in a direction opposite to which the printing medium is conveyed. When the moving member presses and moves the trigger arm, the conveying member is connected to the module such that a connected state in which the driving force transmission is maintained.
MEDIUM BUNDLE STORAGE DEVICE AND MEDIUM PROCESSING DEVICE
A reject storage box is provided with a sufficiently thick cover body above a second storage space that stores banknote bundles W that a user has forgotten to take, and a guide space is provided penetrating the cover body in an oblique direction. In the reject storage box, when a banknote bundle falls into an intake hole from above, a lower face of the banknote bundle immediately contacts a position toward the top of a main guide face, and the banknote bundle W travels downward through the guide space with the lower face of the banknote bundle W sliding against the main guide face. The reject storage box thereby enables the banknote bundle dropping downward through the guide space to be maintained in a substantially uniform orientation, and ultimately enables the banknote bundle to be stacked neatly inside the second storage space.
Sheet conveying device
A sheet conveying device includes a tray, a device body having a conveying route of a sheet and supporting the tray, a side guide supported by the tray to be movable in a first direction intersecting with a conveying direction of the sheet and contacting an end portion in the first direction of the sheet placed on the tray, a cover rotatable with respect to the device body and covering the conveying route, and a lock lever locking the cover to the device body and provided in a position overlapping the side guide in a second direction intersecting with the conveying direction and the first direction. The lock lever is rotatable between a lock position where the cover is locked and a release position where the cover is released. The side guide includes a first notched portion facing a rotation track of the lock lever with a gap.
Printing apparatus
A printing apparatus includes a stacking portion on which a print medium printed by a printing unit configured to perform printing is stacked, a discharge unit configured to discharge the print medium printed by the printing unit to the stacking portion, a passage forming portion arranged facing the stacking portion and configured to form a discharge passage of the print medium together with the stacking portion, and an outlet port located at a downstream end of the stacking portion and a downstream end of the passage forming portion in a conveying direction of the print medium. The passage forming portion includes an opening/closing portion which is displaceable between a closed position for forming the discharge passage and an open position for opening access to the stacking portion.
