A drawer unit includes: a drawer member allowed to shift toward a storage unit in an inserting direction, or shift from the storage unit in a drawing direction; a lock member rotatably supported by the drawer member; a first regulation member that engages with the lock member to regulate a shift of the drawer member when the drawer member is located at a first position; a second regulation member that engages with the lock member to regulate a shift of the drawer member when the drawer member is located at a second position; and an operation unit that receives a first operation that rotates the lock member in the drawing direction to allow engagement between the lock member and the first regulation member, and a second operation that rotates the lock member in the inserting direction to allow engagement between the lock member and the second regulation member.

Provided is an image forming apparatus provided with a sheet accommodating member that accommodates a sheet and is capable of being inserted into and withdrawn from an apparatus main body, and the image forming apparatus includes: a moving member movably supported in the sheet accommodating member; a charge member that is charged with energy by a movement of the moving member; and a retractor that retracts the sheet accommodating member into the apparatus main body by the energy charged in the charge member, when the sheet accommodating member is inserted into the apparatus main body.

The paper delivery assembly (30), the printing assembly (40) and the temporary storage assembly (50) are interconnected with the note container (20) through a note channel; the paper delivery assembly (30) delivers the notes in the note container (20) to the printing assembly (40) through the note channel for printing, and the printing assembly (40) transfers the printed notes to the temporary storage assembly (50) for temporary storage.

A sheet supporting apparatus includes first and second units. The first unit includes a first housing, first and second lock portions, a first shaft configured to be supported rotatably with respect to the first housing and to turnably support the first lock portion, and a second shaft configured to be supported rotatably with respect to the first housing and to turnably support the second lock portion. The second unit includes a second housing and first and second engagement portions provided in the second housing and configured to engage respectively with the first and second lock portions. A locking mechanism includes a hook, an engaged portion, and a biasing member, and locks a movable unit supported on a unit main body to the unit main body. The hook has a supporting portion pivotably supported on the unit main body and an engaging portion protruding from the supporting portion. The engaged portion is formed on the movable unit and is engageable with the engaging portion. A biasing member biases the hook in such a direction as to let the engaging and engaged portions engage. The hook has a first face facing the engaged portion at the tip end of the engaging portion and a second face extending from the first face toward the supporting portion and inclined relative to the first face in such a direction as to recede from the pivot. With the engaging and engaged portion in engagement, the engaged portion touches only the second face.

A sheet feeding device includes a device body including a stopper portion and a feeding tray detachably mounted to the device body. The feeding tray includes a stopper, a lock assembly, and an operating member. The stopper includes a stopped portion movable between a stop position at which the stopped portion is stopped by the stopper portion and a release position. The lock assembly prevents drawing of the feeding tray from the device body. An operating member rotates from an initial state by a predetermined angle to move the stopped portion from the stop position to the release position. The lock assembly restricts rotation of the operating member when the lock assembly is locked. The stopped portion is movable from the stop position to the release position with an operation of mounting the feeding tray to a mount position of the device body without rotation of the operating member.
