Support for a spreading boom for an agricultural sprayer

A sprayer boom support for an agricultural sprayer including two articulated arms that are coupled in an articulated manner on both sides of the sprayer, wherein each articulated arm is comprised of bar sections that are formed in a composite material consisting of a reinforcing agent chosen from carbon fibre, fibreglass, aramid fibre, boron fibre or a combination thereof, and a matrix of epoxy, vinyl ester, phenolic or polyester resin, the bar sections having a tube geometry with a substantially rectangular cross section with rounded vertices and arched sides, the length of two of its equal sides being constant along the bar section.

Sectional boom height control of individual section for sprayers and system thereof

A spray boom of a spray boom assembly includes a boom frame and a spray section coupled to the boom frame. The spray section includes an elongated spray pipe configured to be fluidly coupled to a fluid source and a nozzle coupled to the spray pipe. An actuator is coupled at one end to the boom frame and at an opposite end to the spray section. The actuator controllably extends and retracts to move the spray pipe and nozzle between a raised position and a lowered position.

An agricultural system for monitoring spray booms of an agricultural applicator includes a boom assembly having a wing frame section pivotably coupled to a central frame section, with the wing frame section extending along a length. Further, the agricultural system includes a sensor having a field of view directed along a portion of the length of the wing frame section and configured to generate data indicative of a pitch of the wing frame section along the portion of the length of the wing frame section. Additionally, the agricultural system includes a computing system configured to receive the data, determine variation in the pitch of the wing frame section along the portion of the length of the wing frame section based at least in part on the data, and control an operation associated with the agricultural applicator based at least in part on the variation in the pitch.

ADJUSTABLE ROW UNIT AND SPRAYER VEHICLE WITH ADJUSTABLE ROW UNIT

A first leg extends upward from the left frame and a second leg extends upward from the right frame to connect the legs to the beam. One or more satellite navigation receivers are associated with beam to determine a position and an attitude of the beam. One or more row units are suspended from the beam, such that the position of nozzle or nozzles on each row unit can be adjusted simultaneously and dynamically in multiple dimensions to maintain a target spacing between the nozzle and ground and the nozzle and a plant or row of plants.

Insecticide sprayer and nozzle assembly

A fluid sprayer includes a tank containing fluid therein and a nozzle assembly in communication with the tank to receive fluid therefrom and to atomize the fluid. The fluid sprayer also includes a blower assembly positioned upstream of the nozzle assembly for dispersing the atomized fluid from the nozzle assembly into the surroundings of the fluid sprayer and a discharge chute positioned downstream of the blower assembly into which the atomized fluid from the nozzle assembly is sprayed before being discharged upward and into the surroundings of the fluid sprayer.
