SPRAY BOOM COMPRISING AT LEAST ONE SECONDARY DUCT SECTION
The invention relates to a spray boom comprising a nozzle holder connected to a duct, comprising a first nozzle, a section, a group of nozzles, a flow regulating means arranged between the nozzle and the section and comprising at least one inlet and two outlets controllable between an open and closed position, said flow regulating means allowing supply of the nozzle and/or the group of nozzles with liquid, and in the closed position preventing their supply with liquid, in the open position of the first outlet or the second outlet, said flow regulating means allows supply of the nozzle and the section respectively, and in the closed position prevents supply of the first nozzle and the section respectively.
UPWARD FACING LIGHT SENSOR FOR PLANT DETECTION
A farming machine is configured to identify and treat plants in a field. The farming machine includes one or more light sensors for measuring a characteristic of light. The one or more light sensors are coupled to the farming machine and are directed a substantially upwards orientation away from the plants. A control system adjusts settings of an image acquisition system based on a characteristic of light measured by the one or more light sensors. The image acquisition system captures an image of a plant using one or more image sensors coupled to the farming machine, the one or more image sensors directed in a substantially downwards orientation towards the plants. The control system identifies a plant in the image and actuates a treatment mechanism to treat the identified plant.
Fiber composite truss panel spray boom
A boom segment is provided for a spray boom assembly configured to carry a spray system of a work vehicle. The boom segment includes a truss panel formed as a unitary structure composed of fiber composite material and configured to support components of the spray system. The truss panel includes a panel wall extending along a length of the truss panel and defining an upper beam, a lower beam, and an array of braces spaced apart and extending diagonally and seamlessly between the upper beam and the lower beam to define a series of truss openings therebetween and a plurality of rigidifying ribs formed integrally with and projecting at an angle from the panel wall.
INSECTICIDE SPRAYER AND NOZZLE ASSEMBLY
A fluid sprayer includes a tank containing fluid therein and a nozzle assembly in communication with the tank to receive fluid therefrom and to atomize the fluid. The fluid sprayer also includes a blower assembly positioned upstream of the nozzle assembly for dispersing the atomized fluid from the nozzle assembly into the surroundings of the fluid sprayer and a discharge chute positioned downstream of the blower assembly into which the atomized fluid from the nozzle assembly is sprayed before being discharged upward and into the surroundings of the fluid sprayer.
AGRICULTURAL TELESCOPIC UNIT FOR PLANT TREATMENT
The present invention relates to an agricultural telescopic unit (10) for treating an area of a cultivated field (400), comprising a telescopic structure (20) adapted to be actuated between a retracted configuration and a deployed configuration. The telescopic structure (20) comprises at least a proximal case (100) and a distal nestable case (300). The distal nestable case (300) is slidably connected to the proximal case (100) to move into or outside the proximal case (100) when the telescopic structure (20) is respectively moved in the retracted and deployed configuration. The proximal case (100) and the distal nestable case (300) each comprises each a top wall (102, 302) arranged to be in a plane substantially parallel to the cultivated field (400) when the agricultural telescopic unit (10) is operating with the telescopic structure (20) in the deployed configuration, and two opposite side walls (104, 106, 304, 306). The distal case (100, 300) further comprises an extremity wall (308) extending between the two opposite side walls (304, 306) to form an enclosure with an open side facing the cultivated field (400) when the telescopic structure (20) is in the deployed configuration. The agricultural telescopic unit (10) further comprises a vision system (30) and a plant treatment device (40) mounted inside each of the proximal case (100) and the distal nestable case (300).
Agricultural sprayer boom
An agricultural sprayer boom comprises vertically spaced upper and lower beams extending along the boom and connected by brace members formed from a unitary bent tubular member that is secured to the upper and lower beams, and gripped, by clamps.
SPRAY NOZZLE PROVIDED WITH AN IMPROVED INCORPORATOR
A sprayer including a chassis supporting a main container, a spray boom, and an incorporation device, the incorporation device having an active state and an inactive state. A volume occupied by the incorporation device can be varied between its active state and its inactive state. The incorporation device has a larger capacity in its active state and is smaller in size in its inactive state.
AGRICULTURAL SPRAYER BOOM
An agricultural sprayer boom comprises vertically spaced upper and lower beams extending along the boom and connected by a plurality of brace members formed from a unitary bent tubular member that is secured to the upper and lower beams, and gripped, by clamps.
Spray boom cleanout assembly
A system and method for spray boom cleanout. A spray boom cleanout assembly is provided over a fluid pipe of an agricultural sprayer. The spray boom cleanout assembly includes an end cap body having a vent configured to release trapped air from the fluid pipe through a spray nozzle as the fluid pipe is filled with a fluid. The end cap body is coupled by an adapter to a fluid flush valve allowing for improved cleanout of fluid from the end of the fluid pipe after a spraying operation.
BOOM VIBRATION CONTROL DEVICE AND BOOM SPRAYER
A boom vibration control device includes a fluid pressure cylinder provided between a boom and a boom support body, the fluid pressure cylinder biasing the boom in one rotating direction and a metal spring provided between the boom and the boom support body, the metal spring biasing the boom in the other rotating direction.
