A work vehicle has display devices and cameras coupled to display feeds at display areas. The cameras include a first set on the first side, second side, and central location relative to the first FOV and a second set on a first side, second side, and central location relative to the second FOV. A control system is configured to: in a first mode, display a first set of feeds from the first side, second side, and central location of the display areas so that the feeds are arranged at the first side, second side, and central location relative to the first FOV; and in a second mode, display a second set of feeds from the first side, second side, and central location of the second set at display areas so that the feeds are arranged at the first side, second side, and central location relative to the second FOV.
LOCALIZED PRODUCT INJECTION SYSTEM FOR AN AGRICULTURAL SPRAYER
A localized product injection system for use with a product dispensing system includes a product injection reservoir coupled with an injection header. One or more injection boom tubes are coupled with the injection head. A plurality of localized injection interfaces are configured for coupling at corresponding product dispensers of a plurality of product dispensers. The plurality of localized injection interfaces in communication with the one or more injection boom tubes. Each of the localized injection interfaces includes an interface valve and an injection port in communication with the interface valve. The injection port is configured for localized coupling and injection to the corresponding product dispenser. The plurality of localized injection interfaces maintains a controlled pressurized environment of an injection product to the plurality of product dispensers.
Agricultural sprayer boom
A boom for mounting to an agricultural sprayer comprises an elongate frame supporting a plurality of liquid application devices, liquid delivery means connected to the application devices, and an elongate tray attached to, and extending along, the boom. The tray is movable between a first position in which the tray extends substantially horizontally beneath one or more of the application devices to prevent material from leaking onto the ground below, and a second position in which the tray is located clear of delivery paths of the liquid application devices.
Agricultural vehicle having an improved application boom with a composite tube
An agricultural vehicle includes a chassis, wheels supporting the chassis for moving the vehicle, an application system supported by the chassis and including a product tank storing a volume of agricultural product for delivery onto an agricultural field, and an application boom configured to deliver the agricultural product to the agricultural field. The application boom includes a composite tube, and a sleeve surrounding the composite tube to support the composite tube at a stress point of the composite tube.
Sprayer boom support for agricultural sprayer
A sprayer boom support for an agricultural sprayer including two articulated arms that are coupled in an articulated manner on both sides of the sprayer, wherein each articulated arm is comprised of bar sections that are formed in a composite material consisting of a reinforcing agent chosen from carbon fibre, fibreglass, aramid fibre, boron fibre or a combination thereof, and a matrix of epoxy, vinyl ester, phenolic or polyester resin, the bar sections having a tube geometry with a substantially rectangular cross section with rounded vertices and arched sides, the length of two of its equal sides being constant along the bar section.
Apparatus and method for performing tasks on a pattern planted field
An agricultural machine system for performing agricultural tasks in a in a field on which plants are planted or will be planted in a pattern, the system comprising: a prime mover; a tool bar connected to the prime mover; a plurality of units attached to the tool bar, the units configured to perform at least one agricultural tasks and wherein at least two of the units are disposed in an offset relationship from each other with respect to a forward direction of travel of the agricultural machine about the tool bar; and a control unit in communication with the prime mover and the plurality of units, the control unit configured to determine a selective location corresponding to the pattern in which plants are planted or will be planted and activate the units at the selective location to perform the at least one agricultural task as the agricultural machine system travels along a plurality of rows.
UPWARD FACING LIGHT SENSOR FOR PLANT DETECTION
A farming machine is configured to identify and treat plants in a field. The farming machine includes one or more light sensors for measuring a characteristic of light. The one or more light sensors are coupled to the farming machine and are directed a substantially upwards orientation away from the plants. A control system adjusts settings of an image acquisition system based on a characteristic of light measured by the one or more light sensors. The image acquisition system captures an image of a plant using one or more image sensors coupled to the farming machine, the one or more image sensors directed in a substantially downwards orientation towards the plants. The control system identifies a plant in the image and actuates a treatment mechanism to treat the identified plant.
COMMON RAIL PRODUCT CIRCUIT FOR AN AGRICULTURAL APPLICATOR WITH PRESSURE ACCUMULATION CAPABILITIES AND RELATED SYSTEMS AND METHODS
A product application system for an agricultural applicator includes a boom assembly including a plurality of boom sections, with each boom section being pivotably coupled to at least one adjacent boom section. The system also includes a common rail product circuit spanning across a length of the boom assembly, a product pump configured to supply an agricultural product through the common rail product circuit, and a plurality of nozzle assemblies provided in association with each of the boom sections. Each nozzle assembly across the plurality of boom sections is individually coupled to the common rail product circuit. In addition, the system includes at least one pressure accumulator provided in fluid communication with the common rail product circuit, with the pressure accumulator(s) being configured to adjust a circuit pressure of the agricultural product within the common rail product circuit in response to pressure deviations from a predetermined pressure range.
AGRICULTURAL DISTRIBUTION MACHINE
An agricultural distribution machine that includes a carrier vehicle with a distributor boom that is movable at least about a pivot axis is described. The machine also includes a controlling apparatus that generates a controlling force to move the distributor boom about the pivot axis. A first sensor apparatus detects an angular rate (ω) of the distributor boom. The control apparatus implements a first operating mode to hold the distributor boom in a currently set target rotational position in which disturbance torques acting on the distributor boom, resulting from movements of the carrier vehicle about the longitudinal axis, are compensated. In the first operating mode, the control apparatus is configured to regulate the angular rate (ω) detected by the first sensor apparatus as a controlled variable to a target value which has an absolute value of between zero and a threshold value (ω.sub.0).
