Sheet feeding apparatus
A sheet feeding apparatus includes: a storage part that stores a sheet, and a feeding part that has a feeding roller for feeding the sheet. The storage part and the feeding part are configured to be integrally inserted/withdrawn into/from an apparatus enclosure. The feeding roller is moved from a feeding position to a retracting position before the storage part and the feeding part are withdrawn from the enclosure.
Sheet feeding apparatus and image forming apparatus
A sheet feeding apparatus includes an apparatus body, an opening/closing member supported on the apparatus body, a sheet support supported on the opening/closing member, and a rotary feeding member provided on the apparatus body to feed the sheet supported on the sheet support in a feeding direction. A first engagement member is provided in the apparatus body, and a second engagement member is provided on a downstream end portion of the sheet support in the feeding direction and engages with the first engagement member in a vertical direction that intersects an axial direction of the rotary feeding member when the opening/closing member is positioned at the open position. The rotary feeding member is lowered toward the sheet supported on the sheet support in a case where the opening/closing member is positioned at the open position.
APPARATUS
An apparatus includes an openable and closable cover, a movable member disposed in the apparatus main body and to be exposed outside when the cover is opened, an openable and closable support member that supports the movable member, and a support shaft that supports the cover and the support member. The movable member and the support member are moved together with the cover as the cover rotates about the support shaft. The support shaft can move between a first position at which the support shaft supports the cover and the support member and a second position at which the support shaft does not support the cover and supports the support member. Moving the support shaft to the second position allows the cover to be detached from the apparatus main body.
MEDIUM CONVEYING APPARATUS
A medium conveying apparatus includes a main body, a paper ejection tray main body that is supported by the main body and that is arranged at a paper ejection tray unfolding position or a paper ejection tray storage position, an extension member that is supported by the paper ejection tray main body and that is arranged at an expansion position or a contraction position, a cover that is supported by the main body and that is arranged at an opening position or a closing position, and a contact member that is fixed to the cover, wherein the cover is arranged at a midway position between the opening position and the closing position when the paper ejection tray main body is arranged at the paper ejection tray storage position and when the extension member is not arranged at the contraction position and is in contact with the contact member.
Image forming apparatus having tray for receiving recording medium
In an image forming apparatus, a tray having first and second receiving portions is configured to move between a first position, at which at least part of the tray is positioned inside an apparatus body, and a second position, at which the tray is outside the apparatus body. The tray in the first position allows a first recording medium to be conveyed from the first receiving portion. When the tray is in the first position, the second receiving portion is configured to move between a third position, which is at an upstream side relative to a first opening of the apparatus body in a second direction, and a fourth position, which is at a downstream side relative to the third position in the second direction. The second receiving portion at the third position allows a second recording medium to be conveyed from the second receiving portion in the second direction.
Adhesive bonding of tray for image forming apparatus
An image forming apparatus includes a main body including an image forming unit to form an image on a recording medium and a tray that rotates between an open state and a closed state relative to the main body, the tray on which the recording medium is placed. The tray includes a first component located exterior to the image forming apparatus in the closed state and a second component in contact with the recording medium on the tray in the open state. The first or second component includes at least one groove portion which extends in a conveyance direction of the recording medium and the other includes at least one convex portion extending in the conveyance direction. The first and second components are bonded by adhering, with an adhesive, the at least one groove portion and the at least one convex portion put inside the at least one groove portion.
IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
An image forming apparatus includes an apparatus body including a side surface portion in which an opening is formed, a cartridge, an opening/closing member configured to be moved with respect to the apparatus body between a closed position and an opened position, a sheet stacking portion, a feed roller, and a lifting member configured to lift and lower the feed roller. In the state where the opening/closing member is positioned in the closed position, at least part of the lifting member is positioned an inside of a movement locus through which the cartridge passes in a case where the cartridge is attached to and detached from the apparatus body. In a state where the opening/closing member is positioned in the opened position, a whole of the lifting member is positioned an outside of the movement locus.
Sheet conveyer
A sheet conveyer having a sheet tray, a tray-driving mechanism, a conveyance guide, a feed roller, a separator, a conveyer, a conveyer-driving mechanism, a controller, and a sheet sensor to detect sheets on the sheet tray, is provided. The conveyer-driving mechanism includes a transmission-active portion and a transmission-passive portion. A conveying velocity to convey the sheets by the conveyer is higher than a conveying velocity to convey the sheets by the feed roller and the separator. The transmission-active portion and the transmission-passive portion are rotatable about a transmission axis. The transmission-passive portion rotates passively by being pushed by the transmission-active portion. After the sheet sensor detects absence of the sheets, and before the transmission-passive portion starts rotating passively, the controller conducts a specific action to move the sheet tray downward by controlling the tray-driving mechanism.
DEVICE FOR STORING A SHEET PILE IN A CONVERTING MACHINE AND CONVERTING MACHINE
A device for storing a sheet pile in a converting machine (10) comprises a transfer mechanism (28) for delivering sheets (22) into a piling area (26) of the device (22), and a sampling plate (44) which is adjustable between a sampling position and an access position, wherein the top of the piling area (26) is covered by the sampling plate (44) when the sampling plate (44) is in the sampling position and the top of the piling area (26) is free when the sampling plate (44) is in the access position.
Image forming apparatus
An image forming apparatus includes a first supporting member supporting a long sheet, a feeding unit for feeding the long sheet supported by the first supporting member with respect to a feeding direction and a second supporting member, rotatable about a rotational shaft, for supporting the long sheet with the first supporting member. In a state in which the sheet is bent so that a first portion of the long sheet is supported by the first supporting member and a second portion which is a more rear side than the first portion is positioned above the first portion, the second supporting member is movable between a first position where the second supporting member supports the second portion of the sheet and a second position where the center of gravity of the second supporting member is positioned downstream of a rotational center with respect to the feeding direction and the second supporting member maintains an attitude thereof by its own weight.
