SHEET PROCESSING APPARATUS
A sheet processing apparatus includes a processing tray, a pushing member, and a movable guide. One or more sheets to be processed are placeable on the processing tray for sheet processing. The pushing member is configured to push an edge of the one or more sheets on the processing tray on an upstream side in a sheet conveying direction, by moving along a surface of the processing tray in the sheet conveying direction. The movable guide is movable to a sheet pressing position at which a distance between the surface of the processing tray and the movable guide is equal to or less than a height of the pushing member above the surface of the processing tray. The movable guide is at the sheet processing position when the pushing member moves along the surface of the processing tray in the sheet conveying direction.
Bag stocker and bag supply method
A bag stocker that holds a plurality of bags to be supplied to a bag supply device, includes: a body portion provided to be movable; a plurality of bag accommodating units supported by the body portion; and a holding member which is provided in each of the plurality of bag accommodating units and supports a bag bundle including two or more bags, wherein each of the plurality of bag accommodating units is supported by the body portion to be movable in the body portion between an accommodating position and a withdrawing position where each of the plurality of bag accommodating units protrudes in comparison with each of the plurality of bag accommodating units arranged at the accommodating position.
PAPER FEEDING DEVICE AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
A paper feeding device includes: a loading unit on which a recording medium is loaded; a pair of walls provided to define a loading space above the loading unit between both sides in a direction intersecting with a direction of transport of the recording medium; an opening and closing member that is provided between upper portions of the pair of walls and opens and closes the loading space; and a cutout part that is provided on one of the pair of walls and in which a portion located upstream in the transport direction is located lower than a portion located downstream in the transport direction.
Sheet safekeeping apparatus and image processing apparatus
A sheet safekeeping apparatus comprises a multistage tray in which a plurality of housing sections for accommodating sheets is arranged in a first direction, a removal port through which the accommodated sheet is taken out being formed in each of the plurality of the housing sections, and a cover configured for to close the removal port in an openable manner being provided in each of the plurality of the housing sections; a support section configured to support the multistage tray; a tray displacement unit configured to displace the multistage tray in the first direction with the support section; a conveyance unit configured to convey a sheet to the plurality of the housing sections; and a cover displacement unit configured to displace the cover of one housing section determined by an operation of the tray displacement unit among the plurality of the housing sections to open the removal port.
Document imaging system and method for imaging documents
A system is provided for processing documents. In particular, the system incorporates a feeder for feeding documents to a device for further processing of the documents. For instance, the system finds particular application in the field of document imaging in which a variety of documents of varying sizes and orientation are to be fed to an imaging system, such as a document scanner. The system may provide a sorting station that receives documents from a work station and sorts the documents to a plurality of sort locations. The system may export the image data for the documents to a fileserver so that a remote operator can provide instructions for the processing of the documents so that the documents can be subsequently processed according to the instructions provided by the operator.
Sheet separating device and image forming apparatus
A sheet separating device includes a sheet separator that includes plural separating portions which have a planar shape and which are stacked one on top of another. The sheet separator has openings provided between the plural separating portions at both ends of the plural separating portions in a sheet passing direction. The sheet separator allows gaps between the plural separating portions facing one another to receive one of plural sheets apiece so as to cause the plural sheets to be kept separated from one another. The sheet separating device is held on a placement portion of a sheet processing apparatus that includes a sheet processing unit and the placement portion. The sheet processing unit sequentially feeds thereinto the plural sheets through a feeding opening and performs processing on the plural sheets. The plural sheets to be fed through the feeding opening are placed on the placement portion.
Image forming apparatus, image forming method, and non-transitory computer-readable storage medium
An image forming apparatus performs printing of a plurality of copies of a document in response to execution of a printing job. Each copy includes a plurality of sheets. The image forming apparatus includes a first ejection tray; a second ejection tray; and a first sensor; and circuitry. The circuitry is configured to: start sheet ejection to the first ejection tray; switch a sheet-ejection destination to the second ejection tray in response to detecting that the first ejection tray is at a full level during printing of a first copy; calculate an amount of vacant space of the second ejection tray in response to completion of the printing of the first copy; and perform printing of a second copy to the second ejection tray or to suspend the execution of the printing job, based on the amount of vacant space.
Printing system and printing method
A printing system executes printing of a plurality of copies of a document, and includes first and second paper eject trays. The printing system ejects a plurality of paper sheets of the document to the first or second paper eject tray; detects a full state or a near full state being a predetermined number of paper sheets less than the full state; and ejects the paper sheets of a next copy to the first paper eject tray until the first paper eject tray is full and subsequently to the second paper eject tray, in response to detecting that a total ejectable paper sheet number is greater than or equal to the number of paper sheets of the next copy, the total ejectable paper sheet number being obtained by adding together the numbers of paper sheets that can be ejected to the first and second paper eject trays.
Paper sheet recycling and printing apparatus, printing apparatus, and paper sheet recycling apparatus
There is provided a paper sheet recycling and printing apparatus including: a paper sheet recycling section which manufactures a recycled paper sheet under a first condition and a second condition different from the first condition; a first recycled paper sheet storage section in which the recycled paper sheet manufactured under the first condition is stored; a second recycled paper sheet storage section in which the recycled paper sheet manufactured under the second condition is stored; and a printing section to which the recycled paper sheet manufactured under the first condition is supplied from the first recycled paper sheet storage section and which prints recording information on a recording target medium including the recycled paper sheet.
SHEET SORTING APPARATUS AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
A sheet sorting apparatus includes a first tray detachable from an apparatus main body, a second tray arranged below the first tray, a discharge unit to discharge a sheet to the first or second tray, a tray detecting unit to detect that the first tray is detached from the apparatus main body, a full stack detecting unit to detect a fully stacked condition of the first tray, and a control unit to control the discharge unit. In a case where the tray detecting unit detects that the first tray is detached from the apparatus main body, the control unit controls the discharge unit not to discharge a sheet to the second tray when a number of sheets discharged to the second tray reaches a threshold number of sheets, even though the full stack detecting unit does not detect the fully stacked condition.
