A recording material processing apparatus includes: a first stacking unit configured to stack a recording material; a second stacking unit provided on a downstream side of the first stacking unit in a conveyance direction of the recording material; an alignment unit configured to align the recording material stacked in the first stacking unit before the recording material is discharged to the second stacking unit; and a control unit configured to perform control of discharging the recording material to the second stacking unit by switching between first control not to align the recording material by the alignment unit and second control to align the recording material by the alignment unit.
Sheet processing apparatus and sheet discharge method
In accordance with an embodiment, a sheet processing apparatus comprises a first tray, a second tray, a third tray, a lower supporting plate, a drive section and a control device. The second tray is located at the lower part of the first tray. The third tray is located at a downstream side with respect to the second tray in a sheet conveyance direction. The lower supporting plate can support the sheet from the lower part. The drive section drives the lower supporting plate. The control device controls the drive section to arrange the lower supporting plate at the downstream side with respect to a conveyance starting point of the sheet in the sheet conveyance direction in a case of skipping the first tray and the second tray to convey the sheet to the third tray.
Sheet cassette and printing apparatus
A sheet cassette includes a housing, multiple cassettes stacked and provided in the housing, and a rotary cam. The cassettes store a recording sheet. The rotary cam includes multiple pins provided at opposite positions across the axis of rotation of the rotary cam. Adjacent cassettes are offset relative to each other in an offset direction. First receiving parts for receiving the pins are provided one in each of the adjacent cassettes at a first end thereof in the offset direction. The rotary cam rotates with at least one of the pins being in at least one of the first receiving parts of the adjacent cassettes to move the cassettes as connected.
Sheet conveyance apparatus
A sheet conveyance apparatus includes a receiving conveyance path branching into a first conveyance path and a second conveyance path. A guide member guides a sheet passing through the receiving conveyance path and is movable between a first position to guide the sheet toward the first conveyance path and a second position to guide the sheet toward the second conveyance path. A rotary member is disposed on the receiving conveyance path and configured to guide the sheet by rotating in contact with the sheet. The rotary member guides the sheet on the same side as the guide member that is on the first position, while guiding the sheet on the opposite side from the guide member that is on the second position. The sheet is conveyed in contact with both the rotary member and the guide member when the guide member is at the first position.
IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS, IMAGE FORMING METHOD, AND NON-TRANSITORY COMPUTER-READABLE STORAGE MEDIUM
An image forming apparatus performs printing of a plurality of copies of a document in response to execution of a printing job. Each copy includes a plurality of sheets. The image forming apparatus includes a first ejection tray; a second ejection tray; and a first sensor; and circuitry. The circuitry is configured to: start sheet ejection to the first ejection tray; switch a sheet-ejection destination to the second ejection tray in response to detecting that the first ejection tray is at a full level during printing of a first copy; calculate an amount of vacant space of the second ejection tray in response to completion of the printing of the first copy; and perform printing of a second copy to the second ejection tray or to suspend the execution of the printing job, based on the amount of vacant space.
SHEET CONVEYING DEVICE AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS INCLUDING THE SAME
A sheet conveying device includes a sheet feed tray. The sheet feed tray includes a first guide and a second guide. The first guide has a first end portion. The first end portion has a first area located in a central portion in a width direction, and a second area located closer to one end in the width direction than the first area. The first end portion is inclined such that the first area is downstream of the second area in the sheet conveying direction. The second guide has an upper end portion located downstream of the first end portion of the first guide in the sheet conveying direction and above the first end portion. The upper end portion has a third area located in a central portion in the width direction and a fourth area located closer to an end in the width direction than the third area.
Sheet post-processing apparatus and image forming system having the same
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a sheet post-processing apparatus which facilitates eliminating of a jammed sheet occurring in the path when sheets discharged from an image forming apparatus are stored as being sorted into two directions. The present invention comprises a sheet post-processing apparatus including a first conveying path through which a sheet introduced from a first introducing port is conveyed, a second conveying path through which a sheet introduced from a second introducing port is conveyed, and a stack portion which stacks sheets conveyed through the second conveying path and which is configured to have at least a part of the stack portion be swingable about an axis intersecting with a sheet conveyance direction of a sheet conveyed to the second conveying path between a stack position where sheets are stacked and an open position where the first introducing port of the first conveying path is opened.
Media dispenser cassette mechanism (MDCM)
A compact and cost effective Media Dispenser Cassette Mechanism (MDCM) in the ATMs, which functions as a complete cash and media dispenser on its own. Each Media Dispenser Cassette (MDC) comprises a cover head assembly (101), a main frame assembly (102), a bottom cover assembly (103) and a top cover assembly (104). The main frame assembly (102) comprises a main path roller assembly (301), a motor assembly (302), a picker assembly (303), a shaft driver assembly (304), a Printed Circuit Board (PCB) mounting plate assembly (305), a note pick assembly (306), an idler assembly (307), a roller assembly (316), and a main transport and a roller assembly (320). The MDC independently controls transporting and delivers note by note which is collected by bunch of cash presenter and then delivered to the user as a bunch of cash thereby shortening the note travel, eliminating jam conditions and note rejections.
Medium transport device and image reading apparatus
A medium transport device includes a base frame which includes an outer edge forming portion which configures an outer edge of a device top surface, a medium support tray which is capable of switching between a horizontal posture, and a sub-tray which is capable of being displaced between a storage position and a pulled-out position, and supports the medium at the pulled-out position, in which the sub-tray includes a convex portion which configures a portion of the flat device top surface together at the storage position, and in which the sub-tray is capable of being displaced along a direction that is parallel to the device top surface in a state in which the medium support tray takes the horizontal posture.
Document Imaging System and Method for Imaging Documents
A system is provided for processing documents. In particular, the system incorporates a feeder for feeding documents to a device for further processing of the documents. For instance, the system finds particular application in the field of document imaging in which a variety of documents of varying sizes and orientation are to be fed to an imaging system, such as a document scanner. The system may provide a sorting station that receives documents from a work station and sorts the documents to a plurality of sort locations. The system may export the image data for the documents to a fileserver so that a remote operator can provide instructions for the processing of the documents so that the documents can be subsequently processed according to the instructions provided by the operator.
