Paper feed tray, paper feed device, and circulation-type paper sheet processing device
Provided is a paper sheet replenishing box (paper feed device) for replenishing reserve fund in each circulation-type paper sheet storage unit, wherein paper sheets of each denomination can be replenished from one paper sheet replenishing box in which paper sheets of different denominations having different sizes are accommodated together to a circulation unit of the respective circulation-type paper sheet storage units. The paper sheet replenishing box includes a first tray piece 201 in which a plurality of pieces of first paper sheets P1 are placed in a stacked state, a second tray piece 211 arranged immediately below the first tray piece, on which a plurality of pieces of second paper sheets P2 having a different longitudinal dimension from that of the first paper sheet are placed in a stacked state, and rear-end regulating members 204 and 214 that align front end positions in a transport direction of respective paper sheet bundles to predetermined positions. After all the first paper sheets in a bundle on the first tray piece have been fed by a feed unit 160, an uppermost surface of the second paper sheets in a bundle on the second tray piece becomes a state capable of coming in contact with the feed unit.
Sheet processing apparatus
A sheet processing apparatus includes first and second sheet processing modules, a connecting module, and a storage module. In each of the first and second sheet processing modules, a sheet received from an entrance port is identified by an identifying unit, and if the sheet is qualified, the sheet is transported to a first communication port through a first transport path. In the connecting module, a first diverter mechanism is configured to permit sheet transport between a second communication port and a selected one of the first and second sheet processing modules. The storage module is disposed for receiving and storing the sheet from the connecting module.

There are provided a medium support section that forms a support surface that supports a medium before feeding; a feeding roller that sends out the medium supported by the medium support section in a feeding direction; and an apparatus main body, the medium support section is configured to switch between a stored state of being stored in the apparatus main body and a protruding state, the protruding state being a state where protrudes from a first side surface which is one of side surfaces that form a periphery of the apparatus main body, and in the protruding state of the medium support section, a downstream end of the support surface in the feeding direction is at a position close to a second side surface, which is a side surface opposite to the first side surface, between the first side surface and the second side surface.

A sheet feeder including: a housing including a mount portion that receives recording media; an open-close portion that is disposed on an upper surface of the housing to close the mount portion and rotates about a first hinge to open or close a mount space over the mount portion; and a manual insertion portion at least part of which is disposed on the open-close portion to receive manually inserted recording media, the manual insertion portion being rotatable about the first hinge or a second hinge disposed parallel to the first hinge to rotate upward from a position where the manual insertion portion overlaps the open-close portion.
Sheet sorting device and image forming apparatus
A sheet sorting device includes three or more trays including a predetermined tray detachable from an apparatus main body and a tray different from the predetermined tray, a discharge unit to discharge a sheet to any one of the three or more trays, a control unit, and a tray detection unit to detect that the predetermined tray is detached from the apparatus main body. The control unit sets a sheet discharge destination such that a sheet conforming to a preset condition is discharged to the predetermined tray through the discharge unit. Where the tray detection unit detects that the predetermined tray is detached from the apparatus main body, the control unit sets a sheet discharge destination that has been set to the predetermined tray to the tray different from the predetermined tray based on a state of each of the trays other than the detached predetermined tray.
Automatic document feeder and image processing apparatus
According to one embodiment, provided is an automatic document feeder including a conveying unit, a first tray, a storage unit, and a paper discharge guide. The conveying unit is configured to convey paper to the paper discharge tray. The first tray is a paper discharge tray on which paper discharged by the conveying unit is stacked. The storage unit is a groove-shaped hole provided below the first tray. The paper discharge guide is a member for guiding paper having a predetermined size discharged by the conveying unit to the storage unit.
Image forming apparatus
An image forming apparatus includes a drawer unit, a sheet inverting unit, a sheet guide plate, and a projection. The drawer unit is drawable from an apparatus body. The sheet inverting unit is disposed in the apparatus body, and pulls a sheet into a lower portion of the drawer unit to invert the sheet. The sheet guide plate is disposed on the sheet inverting unit to face the drawer unit, and includes a recess extending in a pull-out direction of the drawer unit that crosses a direction in which the sheet is transported. The projection protrudes toward the recess from a portion of a lower surface of the drawer unit facing the sheet guide plate near a pull-out start point in the pull-out direction and on a rear of a transport area of the sheet.
Sheet conveying device and image forming system therewith
A sheet conveying device includes a sheet conveying passage, an upper conveying guide provided in the sheet conveying passage and facing the upper surface of a sheet, a lower conveying guide facing the lower surface of the sheet, a conveying member conveying the sheet along the sheet conveying passage, a sheet stack tray arranged above the upper conveying guide. The upper conveying guide is swingable up and down, with one end part of it in the sheet conveying direction or in the sheet width direction perpendicular to the sheet conveying direction serving as a pivot shaft. The sheet stack tray has a movable part making contact with the upper conveying guide at least when it swings, and the movable part is movable between a sheet receiving position where it forms a sheet stack surface and a retracted position where it has swung upward from the sheet receiving position.

A sheet feeder including: a housing including a mount portion that receives recording media; an open-close portion that is disposed on an upper surface of the housing to close the mount portion and rotates about a first hinge to open or close a mount space over the mount portion; and a manual insertion portion at least part of which is disposed on the open-close portion to receive manually inserted recording media, the manual insertion portion being rotatable about the first hinge or a second hinge disposed parallel to the first hinge to rotate upward from a position where the manual insertion portion overlaps the open-close portion.
Sheet feed device and image forming apparatus
A sheet feed device comprises a first conveyance path and a second conveyance path which are different sheet conveyance paths, and a conveyance path merging section for merging the first conveyance path and the second conveyance path together. At least one of the first conveyance path and the second conveyance path includes an upstream side roller that feeds sheet to downstream side in a conveyance direction. The conveyance path merging section comprises a conveyance roller pair that conveys the sheet fed from the first conveyance path and the second conveyance path through a nip; a variable mechanism that makes an arrangement angle of one roller of the conveyance roller pair to the other roller thereof variable; and a transmission mechanism that transmits a driving force from the upstream side roller provided in one of the first conveyance path and the second conveyance path to the variable mechanism.
