SHEET PROCESSING APPARATUS
In accordance with an embodiment, a sheet processing apparatus comprises a standby section configured to buffer a sheet; a processing section configured to receive sheets supplied from the standby section and execute a post processing on the sheets; a rotational shaft configured to rotate around an axis of rotation; a paddle arranged in the rotational shaft and configured to contact the sheet and move the sheets by rotating with the rotational shaft, the paddle being configured to slide the sheets on the processing section to a stopper for aligning the sheets; and a controller configured to control a rotational speed of the rotational shaft to rotate the paddle at a first speed, and control the rotational speed of the rotational shaft to rotate the paddle at a second speed slower than the first speed while the paddle contacts the sheets on the processing section for aligning.
Sheet processing apparatus
According to an embodiment, a sheet processing apparatus includes a transport unit and a holding unit. The transport unit transports a first sheet to a first position. The transport unit transports a second sheet, which is transported after the first sheet, to a second position displaced to the upstream side of a sheet transport direction relative to the first position. The transport unit transports a third sheet, which is transported after the second sheet, to a third position displaced to the downstream side of the sheet transport direction relative to the second position. In the case where the second sheet is transported to the second position, the holding unit holds the first sheet at the first position. In the case where the third sheet is transported to the third position, the holding unit holds the second sheet at the second position.
POST-PROCESSING APPARATUS
A post-processing apparatus includes a loading tray, a post-processing unit for performing predetermined post-processing on a sheet before ejecting the sheet onto the loading tray, and a drawing paddle for sending the sheet conveyed toward the loading tray in a direction opposite to the conveying direction to draw the sheet to a predetermined position on a processing tray. The drawing paddle includes a paddle rotation shaft disposed above the processing tray with a predetermined distance from the processing tray, and a paddle blade fixed to the paddle rotation shaft. The paddle blade is a laminated body including an elastic sheet to be in contact with the sheet to be post-processed and a reinforcing sheet reinforcing the elastic sheet. The elastic sheet has a first length longer than the predetermined distance and the reinforcing sheet has a second length shorter than the predetermined distance.

An example finisher includes a first portion extending in a vertical direction and including a height adjustment unit, a second portion extending from the first portion in a lateral direction and including a finishing unit to perform a finishing process, and a stacker to receive paper discharged from the finishing unit, the stacker extending in an opposite direction to the second portion in the lateral direction. The height adjustment unit is to adjust a height of the second portion from an installation surface and includes a base plate including a horizontal slot, a guide plate including an inclined slot, and a slide lever coupling the horizontal slot and the inclined slot.

In accordance with an embodiment, a sheet processing apparatus comprises a standby section configured to buffer a sheet; a processing section configured to receive sheets supplied from the standby section and execute a post processing on the sheets; a rotational shaft configured to rotate around an axis of rotation; a paddle arranged in the rotational shaft and configured to contact the sheet and move the sheets by rotating with the rotational shaft, the paddle being configured to slide the sheets on the processing section to a stopper for aligning the sheets; and a controller configured to control a rotational speed of the rotational shaft to rotate the paddle at a first speed, and control the rotational speed of the rotational shaft to rotate the paddle at a second speed slower than the first speed while the paddle contacts the sheets on the processing section for aligning.

The supplementary printing control portion cause the image forming portion to execute a supplementary printing process in which images are formed on one or more sheets, the images being images of remaining pages that are obtained by excluding pages corresponding to the dummy feed number of sheets starting from a beginning page, from all pages.

A post-processing apparatus of an embodiment includes a first tray configured to receive a sheet on which the post processing is not executed by a processing section, a second tray configured to temporarily place a sheet, an inlet roller configured to carry in a sheet discharged from an image forming apparatus into the post-processing apparatus, a first roller configured to convey the sheet to the first tray, a second roller configured to convey the sheet to the second tray, a detection sensor configured to detect whether or not there is sheet being conveyed in a sheet conveyance path from the inlet roller to the first or the second tray, and a roller control section configured to drive the first or the second roller if an image forming apparatus stops the discharge of the sheet that is being printed and the detection sensor detects the sheet.

A post-processing apparatus of an embodiment includes a first tray configured to receive a sheet on which the post processing is not executed by a processing section, a second tray configured to temporarily place a sheet, an inlet roller configured to carry in a sheet discharged from an image forming apparatus into the post-processing apparatus, a first roller configured to convey the sheet to the first tray, a second roller configured to convey the sheet to the second tray, a detection sensor configured to detect whether or not there is sheet being conveyed in a sheet conveyance path from the inlet roller to the first or the second tray, and a roller control section configured to drive the first or the second roller if an image forming apparatus stops the discharge of the sheet that is being printed and the detection sensor detects the sheet.
