Micro-precision application of multiple treatments to agricultural objects
Various embodiments relate generally to computer vision and automation to autonomously identify and deliver for application a treatment to an object among other objects, data science and data analysis, including machine learning, deep learning, and other disciplines of computer-based artificial intelligence to facilitate identification and treatment of objects, and robotics and mobility technologies to navigate a delivery system, more specifically, to an agricultural delivery system configured to identify and apply, for example, an agricultural treatment to an identified agricultural object. In some examples, a method may include, receiving data representing a policy specifying a type of action for an agricultural object, selecting an emitter with which to perform a type of action for the agricultural object as one of one or more classified subsets, and configuring the agricultural projectile delivery system to activate an emitter to propel an agricultural projectile to intercept the agricultural object.
Multi-Spectral Plant Treatment
A multi-spectral optical plant treatment device (10) employs a vegetation scanner (20), an electromagnetic radiator (30) and a plant treatment controller (40) for multi-spectral plant treatment applications. In operation, the plant treatment controller (40) executes a discriminating recognition between unwanted plants and wanted plants, and further executes a systematic herbicide EM radiation emission for damaging a recognized unwanted plant in accordance with a photosynthesis termination and/or a photomorphogenesis termination and/or a systematic fertilizer EM radiation emission enhancing a recognized wanted plant in accordance with a plant protection enhancement and/or a plant flavor enhancement.
METHOD AND DEVICE FOR DISPENSING AT LEAST ONE LIQUID MEDIUM WITH THE AID OF A SPRAY NOZZLE UNIT, AND COMPUTER PROGRAM PRODUCT
A method for dispensing at least one liquid medium with the aid of a spray nozzle unit, in particular for agricultural purposes. The spray nozzle unit includes at least one spray nozzle via which the medium is dispensed, and at least one sensor device via which a biomass, in particular weeds, is/are recognized. With knowledge of the location of the biomass, the at least one spray nozzle is activated in order to dispense the medium onto the biomass.
MULTIPLE EMITTERS TO TREAT AGRICULTURAL OBJECTS FROM MULTIPLE PAYLOAD SOURCES
Agricultural harvesting machine with pre-emergence weed detection and mitigation system
An agricultural harvesting machine includes crop processing functionality configured to engage crop in a field, perform a crop processing operation on the crop, and move the processed crop to a harvested crop repository, and a control system configured to identify a weed seed area indicating presence of weed seeds, and generate a control signal associated with a pre-emergence weed seed treatment operation based on the identified weed seed area.
METHOD, VEHICLE AND SYSTEM FOR WEED CONTROL MANAGEMENT
The present invention relates to a method (10) to control weeds comprising the steps of: a) acquiring geopositional information of planted crop seeds on an agricultural field and generating a crop seed map, b) acquiring soil elevation data and the corresponding geopositional information of the soil elevation on the agricultural field where the crop seeds have been planted or are being planted at at least two different time points and generating soil surface profile maps of the agricultural field, the soil surface profile maps showing the soil surface profiles at the at least two different time points, c) comparing the soil surface profile maps and the crop seed map to identify differences in the soil elevation profile that are not associated with seed growth of the planted seeds on the agricultural field, d) generating a weed control agent spray map on the basis of the differences in the identified soil elevations on the agricultural field that are not associated with seed growth of the planted crop seeds on the agricultural field.
Pellet Insertion Apparatus and Related Methods
Pellet insertion apparatus and methods. In accordance with an example, a method of inserting a pellet in a tree includes extending a taper (108) and an actuator rod (118) into the tree. The actuator rod (118) positioned within a through-bore (110) and extending from a taper distal end (112). The method includes securing the taper (108) in the extended position. The method includes retracting the actuator rod (118). The method includes loading a plug into the through-bore (110) of the taper (108). The method includes moving the actuator rod (118) to a plug insertion position.
LIQUID SPREADER
An herbicide spreader is capable of changing a spreading width of an herbicide. The herbicide spreader includes: a pair of upper shafts facing with a predetermined interval therebetween in a front and rear direction; a pair of side frames on left and right sides of both the upper shafts; a pair of operation handles connected to both side frames; a spray nozzle mounted to the upper shafts; wheels mounted to both side frames; and a cover sheet for covering portions of a frame main body formed with the pair of upper shafts and both side frames except the bottom. The side frames and the operation handles are rotatably connected to the upper shafts, and opening and closing angle between the left and right side frames is variable and adjusted by operating the pair of operation handles in a direction for bringing them close to or away from each other.
TEXTILE BARRIER INCLUDING AQUEOUS SUPER ABSORBENT POLYMER COMPOSITION
A textile barrier apparatus includes an inner layer comprising an aqueous super absorbent polymer composition (SAP) and first and second outer textile layers attached to opposite sides of the inner layer. A landfill version includes an odor neutralizer, a biocide and/or a nutrient to support vegetation. A fire barrier version has the first and second outer textile layers including water permeable membrane and a fire retardant treatment. A planting groundcover version includes a patterned thickness of SAP corresponding to a planting pattern and a nutrient to support vegetation.
