Device for treating soil and method for operating such a device
The invention relates to a device for treating a soil, comprising the following elements: a carrier vehicle having a chassis, a housing with electrical components such as in particular a high-voltage device for generating a high voltage, and high-voltage electrodes for introducing the high voltage into a first soil region. In accordance with the invention, it comprises a measuring device with evaluation electronics for measuring a fault current or a fault voltage between individual elements of the device with respect to one another or between individual elements and an earthing which serves to divert a fault current in a second floor region.
System and the related method for limiting the growth of creeper plants
A system for limiting the growth of creeper plants on an upright surface, including a voltage generator comprising a ground terminal and a voltage terminal, a conductive stopping element positioned on the upright surface and adapted to be connected to the voltage terminal thereby obtaining a growth limiting boundary for the creeper plants, and a grounding element positioned on the upright surface and adapted to be connected to the ground terminal, thereby providing a grounding of the upright surface. The grounding element is positioned such that the grounding element grounds the creeper plants by contact with the creeper plants within a distance of a hundred centimeters from the conductive stopping element.
DEVICES AND METHODS FOR DISINFECTION AND EXTERMINATION USING UVC LIGHT
A method for exterminating a target on a host using ultraviolet (UVC) light. The method includes providing a device configured for emitting UVC light for exterminating the target, selecting a host type from a plurality of host types for the target to be exterminated from, and selecting a target type from a plurality of target types for the target to be exterminated. The method further includes assigning an intensity and an exposure time of UVC light to exterminate the target, wherein the intensity and the exposure time are based at least in part on the host type selected and the target type selected, and wherein the intensity and exposure time together define an extermination program. The method further includes controlling the device to emit UVC light to exterminate the target according to the extermination program.
WEED ELECTROCUTION SYSTEM
A weed electrocution system comprises a tool bar section comprising a central tool bar and one or more peripheral tool bars pivotable relative to the central tool bar. A mount is adapted to mount the tool bar section to a tractor. A first electrode is associated with the central tool bar, and a a second electrode is associated with the second tool bar. When an electric current is supplied to the first and second electrodes, the electrodes are able to electrocute weeds that come in contact with the electrodes. A ground wheel connected to a peripheral tool bar causes the peripheral tool bar and the second electrode to adjust to the contour of the land.
System and Method for Plant Treatment Based on Neighboring Effects
A method for plant treatment, including: receiving a first measurement for a plant from a sensor as the sensor moves within a geographic area comprising a plurality of plants; in response to receipt of the first measurement and prior to receipt of a second measurement for a second plant of the plurality, determining a set of treatment mechanism operation parameters for the plant to optimize a geographic area output parameter based on the first measurement and historical measurements for the geographic area; determining an initial treatment parameter for the plant; and operating a treatment mechanism in a treatment mode based on the set of operating parameters in response to satisfaction of the initial treatment parameter.
Device for destroying plants
A device for killing or weakening plants and other organisms, has a conveying device for moving the device, a high voltage source and an applicator which is electrically connected to a high voltage source and which has a sensor-guided height-adjusting device.
Unwanted plant removal system having variable optics
Embodiments of an apparatus and methods can removing unwanted plants or weeds from an area such as an agricultural plot or lawn. The apparatus includes a three-dimensional imager configured to capture plant images and locate plants; an image processor configured to distinguish between wanted and unwanted plants based upon the captured plant images; at least one laser device configured to emit a laser beam having power sufficient to damage the unwanted plants; a guidance system configured to direct at least one laser beam toward the unwanted plant; and a chassis configured to support the three-dimensional imager, the laser device, and the guidance system. The chassis is configured to be moved across the area.
Electric-shock soil treatment apparatus and method thereof
An electric-shock soil treatment apparatus and method for treating soil. The electric shock soil treatment apparatus can be an attachment that can either be easily retrofitted or designed into existing and new agricultural equipment. The system can provide a sustainable solution for stabilizing nitrogen fertilizers. The electric shock soil treatment system also provides other effective alternative solutions that would benefit from reduced soil microbial activity or from additional weed control.
ROBOT VEHICLE AND METHOD USING A ROBOT FOR AN AUTOMATIC TREATMENT OF VEGETABLE ORGANISMS
The invention concerns a method using a robot for an automatic treatment of a weed, the method comprises steps of capturing images of said weed with a camera on said robot; determining with said images a distance between the weed and a second vegetable organism; and selecting a treatment tool of said robot for a treatment of the weed from a group of treatment tools as function of said distance.
The invention further concerns a robotic vehicle for carrying out the method for an automatic treatment of a weed.
WEED CONTROL DEVICE
A device for damaging weed is provided, the device having a working tool, which is designed to damage the weed; a classification unit, which has positional data of the weed and/or which is designed to detect weeds; a localization unit, which is designed to ascertain a relative position between the working tool and the weed; and a manipulator unit, which is designed to correspondingly position the working tool as a function of the ascertained relative position.
