The invention relates to the use of a substance mixture for enhancing the effect of electric current applied to plants, wherein the substance mixture has at least one component that reduces the electrical contact resistance in the region of the plant surface, wherein the substance mixture has at least one first component containing at least one surface-active substance selected from the group consisting of surfactants and at least one second component containing at least one viscosity-increasing substance selected from the group consisting of pure silicas, fumed silicas, mixed oxides, magnesium layer silicates, organic additives based on biogenic oils and derivatives thereof, polyamides, and modified carbohydrates. The invention also relates to a method for applying electric current to plants using the substance mixture in order to exert a herbicidal effect.
Apparatus and Method for Electrically Killing Plants
An electrical apparatus to kill a plant or at least attenuate plant growth, the apparatus comprising: an power supply unit; an applicator unit comprising an applicator electrode; an return unit comprising an return electrode; electrical circuitry; the power supply unit arranged to apply electrical energy through a transmission circuit comprising the applicator electrode, and the return electrode, wherein said electrical circuitry implements a detection system to determine a condition of electrical arcing of the electrical energy from one or both of said electrodes, the electrical circuitry arranged to control the electrical energy through the transmission circuit to at least partially reduce the electrical arcing based on said determined condition of electrical arcing.
Autonomous laser treatment system for agricultural objects
Various embodiments of an apparatus, methods, systems and computer program products described herein are directed to an agricultural observation and treatment system and method of operation. The agricultural treatment system uses a treatment unit for emitting a laser at agricultural objects. The treatment unit is configured with a treatment head assembly that includes a moveable treatment head with one or more laser emitting tips. A first and second motor assembly are operated by the treatment unit to control the movement of the treatment head. The first motor assembly includes a first motor rotatable in a first rotational axis. A first linkage assembly is connected to the first motor and the treatment head assembly. The first linkage assembly is rotatable by the first motor. The second linkage assembly is rotatable by the second motor.

wherein said electrical circuitry implements a plant treatment mode and a detection mode,
wherein the electrical circuitry in the detection mode to determine a plant in operative proximity to the transmission circuit, and based on said determination activate the plant treatment mode in which treatment electrical energy, for killing or at least attenuating plant growth, is applied through the transmission circuit.
Weed inactivation device
The invention relates to a weed inactivation device, comprising at least one electrode, whereby at least one electrode is directed to the weed. The electrode is supplied with electrical energy by an electrical power supply, containing an h-bridge inverter for DC/AC conversion to create rectangular wave AC-current. The inversion takes place at frequencies above 1.0 kHz. The weed activation device enables weed control without utilization of poisonous herbicides.

A method for plant treatment, including: receiving a first measurement for a plant from a sensor as the sensor moves within a geographic area comprising a plurality of plants; in response to receipt of the first measurement and prior to receipt of a second measurement for a second plant of the plurality, determining a set of treatment mechanism operation parameters for the plant to optimize a geographic area output parameter based on the first measurement and historical measurements for the geographic area; determining an initial treatment parameter for the plant; and operating a treatment mechanism in a treatment mode based on the set of operating parameters in response to satisfaction of the initial treatment parameter.

Ultrasonic algae control
Apparatus for controlling algae and bio-organisms in bodies of fluids, such as water. The algae control system includes a power unit and a transducer unit that includes a sonic head that radiates in multiple directions. The power unit connects to various power sources, including a mains supply connection, a solar panel array, and/or a battery. The power unit is electrically connected to the transducer unit. The sonic head includes a driver and a transducer subassembly. The driver excites the transducer subassembly to emit ultrasonic waves at various frequencies in the water surrounding the sonic head. Emissions at a high density of frequencies are enabled by the transducers. The frequencies include the critical structural resonant frequency for each microorganism to be controlled. The power unit and driver each include a processor in communication with each other. The processors store and execute a program for a selected application configuration.
