An animal trap apparatus, method and device for safely capturing live creatures such as lizards. A trap catches multiple iguanas and/or other nuisance animals in one setting. The trap may include a larger confinement volume having a one-way entry door on at least one side and in other embodiments on all sides that remain active no matter how many iguanas are in the trap. The entry door is designed such that once the iguana has started through the door it cannot turn back. Access to remove the iguanas is also provided. A large bait station that can hold several days of bait and be easily rebaited with minimal contact with the trap is also provided. A live animal cage trap has a door and a trigger which are continuously connected by a rod, such that when the door opens, the trigger automatically sets and when the trigger is tripped, the door automatically closes by gravity. No springs are provided on the trap. A slide lock on the door prevents the door from being opened by an animal inside the cage. A trigger guard is provided inside the cage to prevent trigger damage by an animal in the cage.

A live animal cage trap has a door and a trigger which are continuously connected by a rod, such that when the door opens, the trigger automatically sets and when the trigger is tripped, the door automatically closes by gravity. No springs are provided on the trap. A slide lock on the door prevents the door from being opened by an animal inside the cage. A trigger guard is provided inside the cage to prevent trigger damage by an animal in the cage.

A live catch rodent trap comprises a housing, an entry door, a release or exit door, and a latch assembly. The housing defines a first or entry opening, and a second or release opening. The entry door selectively covers the first opening, enabling a rodent to enter an interior of the trap and to be captured therewithin. The release door is pivotally attached to the housing. The release door is, in response to actuation by a user, movable between a closed position covering the second opening, and a release position at least partially uncovering the second opening and permitting a rodent to exit the interior of the trap. The latch assembly selectively secures the release door in the closed position, and includes an actuator adapted to be engaged or biased by a user for releasing the latch assembly from a latched state.

A rodent trap includes an internal rodent baiting and/or elimination device which is removable, a base for a street furniture, separate from the device, and a device for reversible attachment of the trap to the street furniture. The removable internal device includes a support and one or more lateral walls delimiting an interior space and forming one or more accesses. The base includes a body including one or more lateral walls, forming a lower opening and delimiting an internal space for removably receiving the internal device. The wall or walls include one or more arched entrance openings, arranged in an offset manner relative to the access or accesses to the interior space to form a zig-zag path from the outside of the internal space of the base to the inside of the interior space of the internal device.
