A sheet conveying device includes: a tray; a roller; a roller arm; a lever; and a dust proof cover including: a first cover, a second cover, and a pressure piece. The roller arm is movable between an abutment position where the roller abuts on the tray and a separation position where the roller is away from the tray. The second cover is movable between a first position in proximity to the tray and a second position away from the tray. The pressure piece is away from the lever to permit the roller to be positioned in the abutment position when the second cover is in the first position, and presses the lever to move the roller to the separation position when the second cover is in the second position.

An apparatus, system and method for a consumable sheet-product level monitoring dispenser for association with a sheet-product filled consumable. The embodiments include at least a receiver for receiving the consumable upon insertion thereof; at least one sensor associated with at least one opening in the receiver; a sensing module for receiving sheet-product level data from the at least one sensor; and a communications module for communicating the sheet-product level to at least a mobile device display and over at least one network to at least one back end module.

The sheet feeding cassette includes a cassette frame, a first lift plate and a second lift plate. The cassette frame includes a bottom plate and side plates extending in the feeding direction. The bottom plate and the side plates form a sheet placement space. The first lift plate is disposed on the bottom plate, configured to rotate up and down around a first axis extending along a width direction perpendicular to the feeding direction, and configured to lift a leading end portion in the feeding direction of the sheet. A paper feed apparatus in accordance with the present invention feeds printing paper stored in a printing paper storage unit. The printing paper storage unit includes: a paper stacking table on which the printing paper is stacked; and an erected member erected along a side of the paper stacking table. The erected member includes a low erected portion formed lower in a height direction than a surrounding portion of the erected member. The paper stacking table has a top face thereof located at a position as high as, or higher than, the low erected portion in the height direction.

Disclosed herein is an image forming apparatus having a structure improved such that a user easily opens and closes a printing media cassette. The image forming apparatus includes an apparatus body, a printing media cassette to receive printing media, the printing media cassette being movably coupled to the apparatus body, a first lever provided at the printing media cassette, a second lever provided in the apparatus body, the second lever being coupled to the first lever, turning, and being separated from the first lever when the printing media cassette is closed.

An image recording apparatus including a first tray having a first holding portion for holding sheets, a second tray disposed above the first tray and including a second holding portion for holding sheets, a sheet feeder that selectively feeds a sheet from one of the first tray and the second tray in a sheet feed direction, a recording unit that records an image on the sheet fed by the sheet feeder, and a discharge roller that discharges the sheet on which the image is recorded by the recording unit. The second holding portion of the second tray moves above the first holding portion of the first tray. The second tray further includes a discharged sheet receiving portion for receiving the sheet discharged by the discharge roller. The second tray including the discharged sheet receiving portion pivots relative to the first tray.

Provided is an image forming apparatus provided with a sheet accommodating member that accommodates a sheet and is capable of being inserted into and withdrawn from an apparatus main body, and the image forming apparatus includes: a moving member movably supported in the sheet accommodating member; a charge member that is charged with energy by a movement of the moving member; and a retractor that retracts the sheet accommodating member into the apparatus main body by the energy charged in the charge member, when the sheet accommodating member is inserted into the apparatus main body.

A sheet conveyance apparatus includes: a supply-sheet supporter having a supply support surface that supports a sheet; a conveyor configured to convey the sheet from the supply-sheet supporter along a conveyance path; and a discharged-sheet supporter disposed above the supply-sheet supporter and configured to support the sheet conveyed by the conveyor. The discharged-sheet supporter includes: a particular end portion located farthest from the conveyor in the discharged-sheet supporter and opposed to the supply support surface from above; and a movable member including the particular end portion at one of opposite end portions of the movable member, which one is farther from the conveyor than another of the opposite end portions. The movable member is pivotable in a direction in which a distance between the particular end portion and the supply support surface is increased.
