A sheet conveyance guide includes a guide portion, a first thrust direction retainer, and a second thrust direction retainer. The guide portion is configured to guide a sheet. The first thrust direction retainer includes a first engagement portion configured to engage with a shaft of a sheet conveying roller configured to convey the sheet, and a guide releaser configured to be operated by a user to release engagement of the first engagement portion with the shaft of the sheet conveying roller. The second thrust direction retainer includes a second engagement portion configured to engage with the shaft of the sheet conveying roller.
PRINTING APPARATUS, CONTROL METHOD OF PRINTING APPARATUS, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
An object of the present disclosure is to provide a printing apparatus in which it is possible to easily clean the surface of a feeding roller and a separation roller by using a damp cloth or the like. One embodiment of the present invention is a printing apparatus including: a feeding roller that feeds a printing medium; a separation roller capable of selectively taking a state where a separating force that separates a plurality of printing media conveyed by the feeding roller one by one has occurred and a state where the separating force has not occurred at a position at which the separation roller is in pressure contact with the feeding roller; and a control unit configured to perform control to bring about a standby state where transmission of a driving force between a driving source of the feeding roller and the feeding roller is shut off in a state where the separating force has not occurred and the feeding roller and the separation roller abut each other.
FEEDING DEVICE
A feeding device includes a loading unit at which a printing medium is loaded, a roller that transports the printing medium, a transport path member at which the roller is disposed, the transport path member constituting a transport path on which the printing medium is transported, a drive source that generates a drive force that rotates the roller, a clutch that is movable between a coupling position at which the drive force is transmitted to the roller, and a release position at which the drive force is not transmitted to the roller, and an operation unit for operating the clutch, in which the operation unit is provided at a position, on the transport path member, facing the printing medium being transported by the roller, and the roller is removable from the transport path member when the clutch is located at the release position.
TAPE DISPENSER HAVING TWO SIDED CUTTER BLADE AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURE
A tape dispenser has a cutter or cutting blade that has at least two rows of teeth opposite each other relative to the cutter or cutting blade. The blade is to be installed on the tape dispenser in any of at least two orientations. By installing the blade in any of at least two orientations, at least one row of teeth will always project from the dispensing end to cut adhesive tape as it is unwound from a roll after being dispensed. This type of blade permits an easier manufacturing ability by reducing or eliminating the need to ensure proper alignment of the teeth to project outwardly from the tape dispenser housing.
IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
An image forming apparatus includes a sheet container accommodating a recording medium therein, a sheet separating feeder including a sheet feeding body and a sheet separating body, an image forming part, and a bend applier. The sheet feeding body feeds the recording medium along with a surface movement thereof while the recording medium contacting the surface thereof. The sheet separating body forms a sheet separation nip region with the sheet feeding body and sandwiches the recording medium in the sheet separation nip region. The sheet separating feeder separates and feeds the recording medium contacting the sheet feeding body. The image forming part forms an image on the recording medium. The bend applier having a leading end of an elastic material contacts and bends the recording medium before the sheet separation nip region and generates a wrinkle extending on the recording medium in a sheet conveying direction.
SHEET STORAGE DEVICE
A sheet storage device includes a cartridge and a body. The cartridge has a tape reel and a holder. The holder holds the tape reel. The body has a drum that winds, together with a tape drawn out of the tape reel, a sheet around the drum to house the sheet. The cartridge is detachably attached to the body.
PAPER SHEET HANDLING MACHINE
A first transport path is put into a first state capable of transporting a paper sheet when a first portion and a second portion engage with each other, and put into a second state in which the second portion is swingable with respect to the first portion about a first swing axis extending in a direction orthogonal to a first direction and horizontal when engagement between the first portion and the second portion is released. A contact portion comes into contact with the second portion, thereby engaging the second portion with the first portion when a second unit in which the first transport path is in the second state is moved in a second direction opposite to the first direction.
RECORDING MEDIUM CONVEYANCE DEVICE AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS INCORPORATING THE RECORDING MEDIUM CONVEYANCE DEVICE
A recording medium conveyance device includes a conveyance device cover, a pair of guides, a maintenance part, a removable cover. The conveyance device cover is openable and covers a conveyance passage of a recording medium. The pair of guides forms the conveyance passage and includes a cover side guide on the conveyance device cover and a body side guide separable from the cover side guide. The maintenance part is on at least one of the pair of guides. The removable cover is configured to form a part of the conveyance passage and cover the maintenance part.
IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
An image forming apparatus, including a main chassis having a discharge tray and a switchback tray in an upper position with respect to the discharge tray; an image forming unit; a discharge roller to discharge a recording sheet conveyed through the image forming unit onto the discharge tray; a duplex conveyer to invert the sheet and convey the inverted sheet to return to the image forming unit; and a switchback roller being rotatable in a normal direction to convey the sheet toward the switchback tray and a reverse direction to convey the sheet to the duplex conveyer; is provided. The main chassis includes a pair of walls, each of which extends in a vertical direction and in a conveying direction of the sheet and is arranged in adjacent to the switchback tray such that the switchback tray is interposed between the pair of walls.
DEVICE AND METHOD FOR FORMING A SHINGLE STREAM OF UNDER- OR OVERLAPPING SHEETS
The invention relates to a device, in particular a roll cross-cutter, for forming a shingle stream of underlapping or overlapping sheets, in particular of paper or carton sheets, having a transport apparatus for transporting sheets, having a shingling apparatus for underlapping or overlapping sheets in regions, having a deceleration apparatus, downstream of the shingling apparatus in the transport direction of the sheets, for decelerating shingled sheets, in particular by forming a deceleration gap for the passage of shingled, combined sheets, and, preferably, having a cross-cutting apparatus upstream of the shingling apparatus for cutting a material web into individual sheets. According to the invention, the shingling apparatus is designed to be adjustable, in dependence of the cut length, in and/or opposite the transport direction of the sheets.
