A core prevents a battery separator wound therearound from moving and becoming misaligned on an outer circumferential surface of the core in a widthwise direction of the core. The core allows a separator to be wound around the outer circumferential surface thereof and is made of resin. The core includes a groove formed on the outer circumferential surface thereof, the groove extending in a direction substantially equivalent to a circumferential direction of the outer circumferential surface.

The vacuum station also includes a removable plate having a plurality of suction holes therethrough located within the recess in the front face of the main housing. The removable plate is removably connected to the main housing by magnets. A sheet of labels can be held to the removable plate by a suction force through the air path in the main housing and the suction holes in the removable plate.

The contact member is moved by contact with the sheet discharged by the discharging portion, wherein the contact member includes a contact surface to be in contact with the sheet which is inclined along the curved shape of the sheet in the width direction of the sheet when viewed in the sheet discharging direction. The detector detects a discharging of the sheet based on the movement of the contact member.
