BIDIRECTIONAL LINKAGE TYPE MOUSETRAP
20210059237 · 2021-03-04 ·

The present disclosure provides a bidirectional linkage type mousetrap including: a base, an upper shell, a first pedal, a second pedal, clamping shafts, and torsion springs. A bait placing cup and clamping frames are arranged on the base. Each clamping frame includes side plates and a clamping rack. Each of the first pedal and the second pedal includes a touch portion, a clamping shaft accommodating groove, and a clamping shaft buckle. Mousetrap inlets are arranged on two ends of the upper shell respectively. The mousetrap has two inlets and two-way linkage, which increase the probability of catching a mouse.

Pest trap with disposal container and wireless monitoring

In some implementations, a trap to capture and kill a pest may include a circuit. The circuit may receive sensor data from a sensor and determine that a pest has entered the trap. The circuit may cause a shutter inside the trap to move from an approximately horizontal position to an approximately vertical position, thereby causing a portion of a door of a container located inside the trap to come in contact with adhesive on an outer surface of the container to prevent the pest from leaving the container. Substantially simultaneously with the shutter moving, the circuit may provide electricity to two conductive plates located on in a inner bottom surface of the container, thereby causing the electricity to pass through the pest. The circuit may send a wireless notification message, indicating that the pest was captured in the container, over a wireless network to a computing device.

A door hinge mechanism for a live catch wire mesh animal cage trap and a method of mounting a cage trap door to a wire mesh animal cage trap using the door hinge mechanism is provided. The hinge mechanism includes a door mounting portion and a roof mounting portion joined by a body portion. The door mounting portion captures a laterally extending upper edge bar of the door and positions the door relative to a laterally extending wire bar on the roof to couple the door to the trap body and create a hinge axle therebetween. The roof mounting portion, which is spaced rearwardly from the door mounting portion by the body portion, secures the hinge mechanism to the roof of the trap body. When so mounted, the hinge mechanism provides greater trap stiffness at the hinge, improved rigidity of the hinge mechanism and trap door, and reduced friction in the hinge pivot.

A live catch animal cage trap having a multi-use bait apparatus in a rear end of the trap is provided. The bait apparatus includes a base plate secured to the rear end of the trap and a cover. The base plate has a cutout that is operative with an opening in the wire mesh of the trap rear end to enable the user to reach into the trap interior through the aligned cutout and opening, while the cover closes the cutout and opening for use. The bait apparatus preferably also includes a removable receptacle having a side wall, an apertured front wall, and an open back. With the side wall and front wall being inserted through the cutout and opening, bait is placed into the receptacle through the open back which is then blocked by closing the cover to enclose the bait while allowing the scent thereof to escape through the apertured front wall to attract a target animal to be trapped. The cover may be further provided with apertures to increase bait odor dissemination.

The present invention relates generally to rodent traps that use food and/or poison to entice the rodent to the trap. This invention uses heat and/or cool air to entice the rodent to the trap. During the cool weather season heat is used to entice the rodent. During the warm weather season cooling is used to entice the rodent. This method can be used for non-kill type rodent traps or kill type rodent traps. This device can also be used to catch other pests such as snakes, squirrels, foxeswhatever animal, pest or rodent is attracted to temperatures to warm up or cool down.
