A mousetrap, includes a box body with a motor, a trigger mechanism including a supporting rod/rods capable of moving up and down and supporting a top cover, and a support locking mechanism capable of rotating and supporting the supporting rod/rods, a transmission rod hinged to the front side plate having a clamping position matching with a locking part on the support locking mechanism; between the output shaft of the motor and the transmission rod, a cable for pulling the transmission rod to rotate is provided; a reset spring/springs for resetting the transmission rod is/are provided; and the top cover is provided with a pedal, both of them are respectively provided with a conductive contact piece which can be contacted to drive the motor when the pedal moves downwards by tread of a mouse, and separated by a return spring/springs.

Systems and methods for trapping animals

A system for trapping animals includes a cable and an enclosure adapted to be suspended above a trap area by the cable. A release mechanism includes a pivotable member, and the pivotable member is configured to rotate about a pivot support between an engaged position and a released position. The pivotable member in the engaged position supports the cable to hold the enclosure in a suspended position, and the pivotable member in the released position releases the cable to allow the enclosure to fall from the suspended position and enclose the trap area. The system further includes an actuator, which in an extended position holds the pivotable member in the engaged position. In a retracted position, the actuator releases the pivotable member to allow the pivotable member to rotate into the released position.

Deadfall trap apparatus and method
10334838 · 2019-07-02 ·

A deadfall device for capturing targeted animals. In one embodiment the device is a bidirectional trigger manually set survival tool that can be selectively used to capture or crush a small animal. When not set up to capture an animal the device is compact and easily transportable. When not being used an elongated body of the device, comprised of two walls separated by a connected web, will house the movable elements of the device inside the elongated body. This allows the device to be stored compactly thus enabling ease of transportation.

Dome-covered rodent trap

A dome-covered rodent trap for capturing rodents. The trap has a base formed of walls and two openings through which rodents may enter. A snap mechanism for trapping rodents is secured to the base. A movable dome also is attached to the base. When the trap is set, the movable dome is maintained in a raised position. However, when the snap mechanism is triggered by a rodent, the movable dome moves downward to cover the basethereby forming a sealed container around a captured rodent.
