ADAPTABLE BAIT STATION
This disclosure describes devices, systems, and methods associated with pest (e.g., rodent) management. An example of monitoring device for a pest-management station includes a base station having a plurality of sensors configured to couple to a pest station and a secondary station removably coupled to the base station and having a camera configured to capture image data. The monitoring device further includes a transceiver configured to wirelessly transmit data, a memory, and a processor coupled to the memory, the processor configured to activate the camera based on sensor data from one or more sensors of the plurality of sensors. Bait stations, servers, and corresponding methods are also described.
Method for monitoring one or more pest traps, such as rat traps
A method for monitoring whether a number of a rat traps have been activated, where each tap has a moveable part, a fixed part, a switch and a signaling device, such than when the moveable part is moved towards the fixed part then the signaling device transmit a signal to a user's smartphone having a display on which display the user is informed whether a rat has gone into the trap. An opening size between the moveable part and the fixe part is detected indicating whether a rat, a mouse or a false alarm is detected. By the invention a beneficial and accurate way of monitoring the status rat traps are obtained.
Smart micro-mouse trap
A smart micro-mouse trap is disclosed herein which can be used to trap and kill the mouse, rat, rodent, etc. instantly. The embodiment comprises an enclosure for the mouse, a beam to detect the mouse, a trap, a latch and a solenoid powered by an electrical circuit to activate the tripping mechanism as the mouse enters the trap and breaks the beam. The smart micro-mouse trap is advantageous and useful as it is inexpensive, easy to operate, durable and allows for sanitary disposal of the dead mice, rats, rodents without contact to human.

SNARE TRAP
A snare trap has a cable, a spring and a trigger. The cable has a snare end and a tether end. The snare end has a stop and the tether end has a tether attachment to which a tether may be attached for holding the cable in position. A travelling loop slidingly engages the cable and has a first aperture and a second aperture through which the cable may pass to create a snare loop. The first aperture of the travelling loop has a locking mechanism to lock the first aperture onto the cable. The spring has a first arm and a second arm. The first arm and the second arm are biased towards an open orientation such that the spring in the open position appears sprung. The ends of the first arm and the second arm slidingly engage on the cable. The trigger has a connection end and a trigger tip. The connection end slidingly engages the first arm of the spring. The trigger is movable between a set position in which the trigger tip contacts the second arm of the spring and holds the spring in a closed position such that the first arm and the second arm are tensioned towards each other and an unset position in which the trigger tip does not contact the second arm of the spring.
BAIT SCALE DEVICE AND REMOTE MONITORING DEVICE CONFIGURED TO RECEIVE SIGNALS FROM A BAIT SCALE DEVICE
A bait scale device (2) and a remote monitoring device (16) are provided. The bait scale device (2) comprises a bait holder (4) for receiving a bait product: an electronic weighing unit (7): a power source (9) providing electric power: a timing device (11.1) and signaling means (11.1, 12). The electronic weighing unit (7) is configured to measure the weight of the bait held by the bait holder (4) and the timing device (11.1) is configured to activate the power source (9) and trigger a weight measurement by the electronic weighing unit (7) in predetermined time intervals. The signaling means (11.1, 12) are configured to generate a signal (17) corresponding to the measured weight and transmit said signal (17) to a remote monitoring device (16). The remote monitoring device (16) is configured to receive signals (17) corresponding to a measured weight from said bait scale device (2).
RODENT TRAP WITH PRESENCE INDICATOR MECHANISM
Pest-management apparatuses and related methods. At least some of the present pest-management apparatuses comprise: a base, a lid coupled to the base such that the lid is movable between open and closed positions, where the base and lid define a chamber when the lid is in the closed position; a pest-capture device disposable within the chamber and having a capture element that is movable between set and capture positions; and an elongated indicator configured to extend through an opening in the lid when the lid is in the closed position.
A TRAP OR DISPENSING DEVICE
A trap comprising an apparatus to trap a target creature and a test activation system configured to initiate a test activation of the trap, wherein the test activation system comprises an electric power supply and an electronic control system powered by the electric power supply, wherein the electronic control system is configured to activate the trap to test the operation of the trap, and wherein the electronic control system is configured to activate the trap automatically according to a timer, programmed instructions or upon receipt of instructions from a user interface.
SENSOR FOR A WIRELESS ANIMAL TRAP DETECTION SYSTEM
An animal trap sensor includes a base having a distal end and a proximal end, a switch having a first metallic element and a second metallic element, and a signal unit, in which, when the first metallic element contacting the second metallic element, thereby forming a closed circuit, such that the signal unit transmits a signal to an off-site receiver. Or, an animal trap sensor includes a first portion and a second portion electrically connected with a signal unit including a power supply, in which, when the first and the second portions are disposed at a first distance between each other, thereby generating an output property, in which, when the first and the second portions are disposed at a second distance between each other, which is different from the first distance, thereby changing the output property and causing the signal unit to transmit a signal to an off-site receiver.
