Method for making an electronic product with flexible substrate
A method for making an electronic product. The method includes processing a flexible substrate (e.g., a web) with the use of a tensioner having a vacuum plate and an indexer that intermittently moves the flexible substrate for processing. While a designated location of the flexible substrate is stopped at a processing location, a process is performed on the designated location. Wherein while the designated location is stopped at the processing location, the vacuum plate of the tensioner moves in an opposite direction of the transport direction.
COMPONENT MOUNTING DEVICE
A component mounting device of the present disclosure is provided with a tape feeder and a mounting head, the component mounting device including: housing cassette (22B) that stores a roll body of a carrier tape and allows the roll body to be taken in and out through an opening; and receiving cassette (22A) that houses roll body (RT) of carrier tape (CT) and allows roll body (RT) to be taken in and out through an opening, and that stores roll body (RT) supplied from housing cassette (22B) equipped on housing cassette attaching unit (39). The tape feeder draws carrier tape (CT) from roll body (RT) of receiving cassette (22A) equipped on receiving cassette attaching unit (38) to supply a component to the mounting head, and draws carrier tape (CT) from roll body (RT) of housing cassette (22B) equipped on housing cassette attaching unit (39) following carrier tape (CT) to supply the component to the mounting head.
Reeling device
In some implementations, a reeling device may receive material via a receiving end of a set of guiding blocks positioned around a reel. The set of guiding blocks are configured with an opening at the receiving end and with one or more inner surfaces configured to guide the material on a path around a surface of the reel. The one or more inner surfaces of the set of guiding blocks are arc-shaped to generally follow the surface of the reel. The reeling device may operate a motor that rotates the reel in a loading direction to facilitate loading the material onto the reel. The set of guiding blocks travel generally away from the surface of the reel based on the material being received and/or the motor operating in the loading direction.
COMPONENT QUANTITY SYSTEM FOR ELECTRONIC COMPONENT TAPE REELS
An improved electronic component holder of the type having a reel of tape, wherein the tape has a back side, a front side, and may include small wells evenly spaced from each other and containing electronic components The improvement includes markings on one of the back side and the front side of the reel of tape containing the electronic components with a scale that will ultimately determine an amount of electronic components left on the reel of tape. The markings may include a means of determining quantity of components on a tape or length of tape by automatic identification or machine vision. The markings may be applied to tapes on reels containing components or to each piece of the component tape assembly, for example the cover tape or component tape, individually such as in a tape pre-print assembly on a newly manufactured cover tape reel.
Cartridges, Dispensers, and Kits For Dispensing Stethoscope Covers
A kit for dispensing disposable stethoscope covers is provided. The kit may include a cartridge and a dispenser for automatic touch-free dispensing of disposable stethoscope covers. The kit further includes a first spool having a roll of backing member with disposable stethoscope covers disposed thereon and a second spool for receiving the spent backing member after a disposable stethoscope cover has been removed, self-contained within the cartridge. The cartridge is inserted within the dispenser so that a user may insert a stethoscope head through a window of the dispenser to attach to a disposable stethoscope cover. The kit may further include a proximity sensor for detecting a user. Upon detection of the user, the first and second spools rotate to align a disposable stethoscope cover with the window of the dispenser in a ready-to dispense position.
Electronic component supply apparatus and electronic component supply method
An electronic component supply apparatus that transports a component supply tape which has accommodation sections and sprocket holes formed at regular intervals and which accommodates an electronic component in each of the accommodation sections, to a component picking-up position and that supplies the electronic component accommodated in the accommodation section to a component mounting apparatus, the electronic component supply apparatus includes a slippage detector that detects slippage occurring in a transport of the component supply tape by a component supply tape transport unit; and a transport correction unit that corrects the transport of the component supply tape by the component supply tape transport unit based on the slippage detected by the slippage detector.
System and method for processing a flexible substrate
A processing system and a method for processing a flexible substrate (e.g., a web) use a tensioner with a vacuum plate that can be moved along a transport direction of the flexible substrate with an indexer that intermittently moves the flexible substrate for processing. The tensioner and the indexer are controlled so that a relative speed between the indexer and the vacuum plate of the tensioner is maintained above a predefined threshold under all working conditions, even when the flexible substrate is stopped.
COMPONENT SUPPLYING DEVICE, SURFACE MOUNTING DEVICE, AND METHOD OF SUPPLYING COMPONENT
A component supplying device includes a body portion including a component pick-up position, a tape path, first and second transfer portions, a control portion, and an input portion. The control portion includes a discharge processing portion which executes a discharge process in response to an instruction at the input, and a transfer processing portion which executes a transfer process after the discharge process. In the discharge process, a first component supply tape is transferred by the first transfer portion away from the first transfer position so that at least a part of the first component supply tape is discharged outside the body portion while holding the components. In the transfer process, a second component supply tape that is at the second transfer position is transferred by the second transfer portion toward the first transfer position, and transferred by the first transfer portion toward the component pick-up position.
Dispenser for opening a tape-like packaging
A dispenser for opening a tape like packaging comprising first and second films releasably connected to each other, forming envelopes sealed around an object, and disposed sequentially with a predetermined pitch. The dispenser comprises a space for holding a container of the packaging, a separator through which the packaging can be passed, for spreading apart and separating the films at an outlet thereof when a pulling force is acting on said first and second films, thereby opening envelopes and releasing the objects contained therein, and means for winding up separated first and second films of the tape like packaging. The separator further comprises a cover member that is articulated to the dispenser to be movable between a closed position and an open position.
SPLICING DEVICE AND TAPE DETECTING METHOD USING THE SAME
A splicing device includes a first detection section which detects whether or not the component storage section protrudes downward from the conveyance reference surface; a second detection section which detects the component storage section of the paper tape; a discrimination section which determines whether a tape inserted into the splicing device is the embossed tape or the paper tape based on a detection signal of the first detection section; a first calculating section which calculates a pitch of the component storage section of the embossed tape by using the first detection section in a case where the embossed tape is determined; and a second calculating section which calculates a pitch of the component storage section of the paper tape by using the second detection section in a case where the paper tape is determined.
