Fishing line dispensing apparatuses for loading fishing line onto a reel, can include a base operable to hold a spool of fishing line, a cap detachably associated with at least a portion of the base, and one or more securing elements coupled to the base. The securing elements can be operable to releasably secure the base to a shaft of a fishing rod. The base of a fishing line dispensing apparatus can additionally include a spool retention surface disposed at a bottom end of the base and a sidewall connected to and extending in a substantially orthogonal direction away from the spool retention surface.

Materials, methods and devices for joining lines
10232561 · 2019-03-19 ·

A hand-held device for joining fishing line segments of monofilament, fluorocarbon, and/or braid lines of similar or differing sizes or combinations or securing hooks or other components to at least one line. The device includes an encasement for orienting the fishing line segments in a closed chamber in close, non-contacting orientation. A material is injected into the closed chamber to encase the lines. This material can be adhesive material or a flowable polymer material having a melting temperature lower than the line segments to be bonded. A pre-formed, flexible polymer sheath is used to retain the line segments in the chamber. A heater heats the polymer sheath within the encasement to allow the polymer to flow and encase the line segments without melting the line segments. Bonding of the line segments can be achieved without melting, abrading, compressing, or impairing the integrity the line segment(s) to be encased.

DEVICE AND METHOD FOR FORMING THREE DIMENSIONAL SHAPE TO ELONGATED MATERIAL
20190016554 · 2019-01-17 · ·

A device and method for forming a knot to elongated material is provided. The device includes a body, a central cavity inside the body, a material track along which the elongated material is guided in the device, the material track including opening extending along the material track and open to the central cavity. The device further includes one or more barrier elements for blocking at least part of the opening for preventing the elongated material from escaping from the material track also prevents collapsing/folding of the material to the central cavity via the opening.

Casting reel supporting device
