Cord winding module
A cord winding module, comprising a rotary wheel (9) on which a cord (11) is wound and a stop button (4) working cooperatively with the rotary wheel. The cord winding module further comprises a spring wire (5) working cooperatively with the stop button as an elastic support device, and the stop button automatically brakes the rotary wheel under the action of the elastic force of the spring wire and prevents the rotary wheel from retracting the cord. The spring wire has an arc shape, or exhibits an arc shape when pre-pressed and deformed by the stop button.
CORD REEL ASSEMBLY WITH CONTINUOUS CORD
A cord reel assembly including a single, continuous cord having stationary and retractable segments, with the stationary segment including multiple connectors and sheath covering such connectors where the connectors twist and untwist relative to the sheath in response to the retract and extension of the retractable segment.
Smart cord reel
A smart cord reel cable including at least one sensor for measuring cord or cord reel usage, a memory for receiving sensor input to create usage records, and a processor for analyzing the usage records to provide information for maintenance status indication and/or usage analytics.
Tinsel sheath for a continuous cable in a cord reel system
A cord reel cable including a cable with tinsel sheath surrounding power and data conductors, wherein the tinsel sheath is comprised of no more than 40 tinsel or tinsel strands, and the cable is wound and unwound around a spool while maintaining continuous electrical contact to a power source through a slip ring mechanism or the like, wherein the tinsel sheath provides a durable EMI shielding to the cable.
In-line headphone cord holder
A headphone or other wire holder including an elongated central body and a pair of forked portions, one on each end of the central body. Each forked portion may include two tines. The central body may define a retention channel running along a length of the central body between the forked portion. The retention channel may be configured to receive and secure a length of a wire, such as a headphone cable.
Earphone Cord Containment Adaptor and Holder
A cord containment adaptor can be adaptively anchored or fixed to or removed from an earphone cord of a set of earphones by hand via an anchor slot of the adaptor. The anchor slot can have a frame or structure that may have multiple earphone cord entrapment chambers and/or an offset or non-linear path leading to an earphone cord entrapment chamber or chambers to help anchor the cord containment adaptor on the cord segment to prevent inadvertent dislodgement of the cord containment adaptor from the earphones. The structure of the anchor slot can be rigid and serves to firmly grip or compress earphone cord segments positioned between gapped-apart opposing sidewalls within the anchor slot. Entrapment chambers of the anchor slot are connected to every other entrapment chamber via cord passageways through which an earphone cord segment can pass. The cord containment adaptor may contain cord containment slots separate from the anchor slot. When a cord containment adaptor is anchored via the anchor slot, earphone cord segments can be gripped into slots in a manner that contains loose cord ends and helps prevent tangling of earphone cords when the earphones are stored or not in use. The adaptor can remain fixed to an earphone cord segment during audio listening by a user and during storage of an earphone set.
Article management clip and method of use thereof
An article management clip includes a body having a tab, a first arm extending from the tab, a second arm extending from the tab, and a first member connecting the first arm with the second arm. The tab has a securement nub, and the body includes a resilient material.
Automatic winding device
An automatic winding device includes a lower casing having a shaft, a bobbin rotatably disposed on the shaft, a wire wound around the bobbin, a spring having a first end secured to the shaft and a second end secured to the bobbin to provide a rotational force to the bobbin, a track cover coupled to the bobbin and having tracks formed thereon, a pin positioned between the bobbin and the track cover to control rotation of the bobbin, and a pin guide spring configured to press the pin toward the track cover. The track cover includes an inner track having a radius of curvature increased and decreased along the circumferential direction, an outer track spaced apart from the inner track, a connection track configured to connect the inner and outer tracks, and a stop track configured to connect the inner and outer tracks and to stop the pin.
CHARGING AND STORAGE SYSTEM
A storage system includes a protective housing member configured to mate with a handheld electronic device. The protective housing member includes a charging area formed between a surface of the protective housing member and a surface of an accessory item of the handheld electronic device. The charging area is configured to charge the accessory item of the handheld electronic device. The charging area is powered by at last one power component of the protective housing member or at least one power component of the handheld electronic device. The storage system further includes at least one integrated circuit which is either a component of the handheld electronic device or a component of the protective housing member.
