BAIT STATION FOR PEST CONTROL
20170035041 · 2017-02-09 ·

A bait station for pest control is provided that comprises an enclosure. The enclosure defines an access chamber that includes an entry port for entry of a pest therein, and a bait chamber that holds a bait product harmful to a pest. A partition section separates the access chamber and the bait chamber. A closure element is associated with the access port and is moveable between a first position covering the access port, and a second position exposing the access port. A detector arrangement outputs a signal indicative of presence or otherwise of a pest in the access chamber. A controller receives the signal and records a pest activity event. The controller moves the closure element to the second position to open an access port between the access chamber and the bait chamber when a number of recorded pest activity events are at least equal to a predetermined number.

ANIMAL BAIT STATION
20170035043 · 2017-02-09 ·

A bait station for feeding toxic bait to pest animals. The bait station is a generally enclosed structure having one or more open entrances where a pest animal can enter the bait station and feed on toxic bait at a feeding location. Blocking members are disposed in the conduits leading from an entrance to the feeding location. The blocking members prevent the feeding animal from removing bait in stick form from the bait station, and can optionally extend down, outside the bait station, such that the extensions of the blocking members can be used to anchor the bait station to the ground.

Internal ballasted rodent bait station

A rodent bait station has a base with a hinged cover which is lockable to the base to define an interior volume which receives a ballast weight of three to twenty-four pounds which biases a floor of the base against a support surface. At least one rodent access opening in the bait station allows a rodent to pass in to the interior volume. A bait or a rodent trap is positioned within the interior volume such that a rodent can move freely within the interior volume so as to access the bait or rodent trap.

Tamper-resistant rodent bait station

A pre-baited consumer bait station for rodents which is gnaw resistant and has other design features to make the bait station resistant to rodenticide access by children, dogs, other pets, domestic animals, and nontarget wildlife. An injection molded translucent cover is permanently locked to a base about the cover's edges and center by elastic actuated hooks which engage receptacles on the base. The cover forms a labyrinth joint with a peripheral wall of the base. Double walls on exterior portions of the peripheral wall strengthen the walls where they form part of a closely confining bait receptacle which surrounds a bait block on portions of all sides. Circuitous internal passageways limit access to the bait. An interior wall extends to support the cover center.

PEST CONTROL APPARATUS AND SYSTEM

A pest control apparatus for housing a pest station. The pest control apparatus comprising a first end wall, a second end wall, a first side wall, a second side wall, and an inner shelf. The first and second side walls interconnect the first and second end walls, forming an internal cavity within the apparatus. The inner shelf is positioned within the internal cavity, forming top and bottom compartments within the internal cavity. At least one of the first and second side walls includes an opening, providing access into the bottom compartment. The pest station may be positioned within the bottom compartment of the apparatus such that openings in the sides of the pest station align with the at least one opening in the pest control apparatus.

Pest-management apparatuses with separator to improve function of rodent sensor

Pest-management apparatuses (e.g., stations), such as, for example, that can be configured to permit a rodent to enter and retrieve a bait and/or become trapped (e.g., via adhesive or a snap-trap).

Trash Can Bait Station Device

A trash can bait station device is provided designed to discreetly trap rodents or pests while maintaining the appearance and functionality of a standard garbage receptacle. The device comprises a body shaped like a typical garbage can, with features such as a lid, wheels, and handles. The body includes an opening at the bottom that houses a removable trap station, which is equipped with an entrance for rodents, a bait area, and a trap. The trap station may also have a transparent viewing window to allow users to monitor its contents without removing it from the trash can, thereby preventing detection by unauthorized individuals. The device employs different locking mechanisms to secure both the lid and the trap station, enhancing safety by restricting access to children.

A bait station system includes an enclosure formed in part by an upper housing. The bait station system also includes a ramp that forms a bottom wall of the enclosure. The ramp moves from an initial position to an active position in response to a weight that exceeds a target animal weight threshold applied to the ramp. The bait station system also includes a bait hopper that holds bait. The bait station system further includes a bait access chamber that receives the bait from the bait hopper and that is only accessible from within the enclosure while the ramp is in the active position due to the weight applied to the ramp.

A rodent bait station comprises a housing defining at least one entrance, a bait holding area arranged within the housing for storing a quantity of rodent bait for consumption, and an electronics assembly. The electronics assembly includes a capacitor arranged proximate the bait holding area and having a characteristic capacitance indicative of the quantity of bait in the bait holding area, and a controller for measuring the characteristic capacitance of the capacitor. A processor of the electronics assembly estimates a quantity of bait in the bait holding area according to the measured characteristic capacitance, and transmits via a transmitter a wireless signal indicative of one of the measured characteristic capacitance or the estimated quantity of bait in the bait holding area.
