PEST-MANAGEMENT APPARATUSES WITH SEPARATOR TO DIRECT RODENT MOVEMENT AND/OR IMPROVE RODENT CONTACT WITH ADHESIVE
Pest-management apparatuses (e.g., stations), such as, for example, that can be configured to permit a rodent to enter and retrieve a bait and/or become trapped (e.g., via adhesive or a snap-trap).
PEST CONTROL SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR USE THEREOF
In an aspect, a pest control system is provided, and includes at least one monitoring device and a control system. The at least one monitoring devices includes sensing circuitry, communication circuitry and a plurality of possible states which correspond to a plurality of actions of a target species. The sensing circuitry detects states from the plurality of possible states and the communication circuitry transmits at least one dataset relating to the detected states. The control system includes at least one processor and at least one memory, where the memory stores the at least one dataset transmitted from the at least one monitoring device as a stored dataset and the memory has instructions stored therein which are executable by the at least one processor for identifying a change in the actions of the target species of pest based on the at least one stored dataset.
DISPENSER
A bait dispensing station including a cavity for holding a pellet of bait. The cavity can be enclosed preventing external access to the pellet. The statin also includes a compartment for holding a plurality of pellets and a means of dispensing a pellet into the cavity. A new pellet can only be dispensed into the cavity when no pellets are in the cavity. The cavity incudes a sensor to determine if there is a pallet in the cavity. The dispensing station includes a light sensor that controls access to the cavity and wherein access to the cavity is enabled essentially at night.
WEIGHTED RODENT BAIT STATIONS AND RELATED METHODS
Rodent bait station assemblies and methods for assembly and bundling.
Poison bait station device and associated methods
The poison bait station device is for elimination of rodents such as mice. The device includes an elongated tubular housing having a rodent entrance at one end and an end wall at an opposite end thereof, with a through-hole in the end wall. A bait station line (e.g. wire or cable) extends through the through-hole and includes a bait attachment feature at a first end thereof configured to be extended out through the rodent entrance for attaching poison bait thereto, and configured to be retracted within the elongated tubular housing for safely setting the poison bait therein. A structure attachment feature is at an opposite end of the bait station line and is configured to be securely attached to a structure in a local environment.
ATTRACTANTS FOR RODENTS
Methods of using compositions attractive to rodents, such as mice and rats, are disclosed. The compositions include one or more of androstenone, testosterone, progesterone, and estrogen. The compositions can further include at least one of a lethal agent or a chemosterilant. The androstenone, testosterone, progesterone, and estrogen are isolated, purified, and/or synthetic.
Time release application and monitoring system configured to prevent untargeted wildlife entry or disruption
Provided herein are mechanisms and methods for the automated distribution of active ingredients (whether oral or contact based) to wild and domestic animal populations as well as a method for monitoring animal activity and estimating consumption and/or application of such ingredients within the population through the utilization of the mechanisms themselves. The inventive device pertains to a manner of delivering either an active oral ingredient or active contact ingredient within a bait pellet or like substrate for ingestion or external contact and/or coating of a target population. The device allows for controlled access of such a bait pellet (or like substrate) for such a target population coupled with the ability to retain freshness thereof for multiple timed access events without the need for human involvement. A properly sized, configured, and automated delivery device is thus provided to meet these needs. Delivery components are also encompassed herein.
Rodent Trap Assembly
A rodent trap assembly includes a cylinder that has an access opening extending therein. A bait tray is coupled to the cylinder to contain rodent bait and the bait tray is positioned inside the cylinder. A dome is positionable on the cylinder and the dome has an entry way extending therethrough to facilitate a rodent to enter the dome to access the rodent bait in the bait tray. A ramp is removably attachable to the entry way to facilitate the rodent to access the entry way. A cup is removably positionable in the cylinder to capture the rodent when the rodent enters through the entry way and falls downwardly in the cylinder. A handle is coupled to the cup to facilitate the rodent to be relocated without requiring the user to touch the rodent.
Attractants for rats
Rat attractant compositions attractive to the rat species Rattus norvegicus are disclosed, which compositions are constituted of compounds found in the headspace volatiles of male urine odor or female urine odor. Said compositions are respectively termed male pheromone blend (MPB) and comprises 2-heptanone, 4-heptanone, 3-ethyl-2-heptanone, 2-octanone, 2-nonanone, and 4-nonanone in a ratio of 10:100:10:1:1:10 respectively, or female pheromone blend (FPB) and comprises 2-methyl-butyric acid, 3-methyl-butyric acid, heptanal, hexanoic acid, 2-phenylacetaldehyde, nonanal, and decanal in a ratio of 20:20:10:30:5:20:10. Devices including the rat attractant compositions, and methods of using said rat attractant compositions, are also disclosed.
Attractants for rodents
A device for attracting a rodent includes a housing for receiving the rodent and a composition adjacent to or included within the housing. The composition includes one or more of androstenone, testosterone, progesterone, or estrogen. The one or more of androstenone, testosterone, progesterone, or estrogen are isolated, purified, synthetic, or a combination thereof. The composition may also include at least one of a lethal agent or a chemosterilant. The device may also include a trap configured to trap or kill the rodent.
