CABLE REEL
There is proposed a cable reel, comprising mirrored first and second side portions forming an outwardly open cable receiving annular chamber therebetween for holding a cable. The cable reel includes a tapered neck wherein the cable is configured to pass though the tapered neck during winding up and dispensing of the cable, whereby jamming of the cable within the annular chamber is inhibited. The cable reel further includes a passageway for receiving a first plug attached to a first end of the cable therethrough, at least two apertures for utilisation by a user to facilitate rotation of the cable, and a plurality of plug holding members for retaining a second plug attached at a second end of the cable.
Wire and cable package
Consistent with embodiments of the invention, a cable package may be provided. The cable package may comprise a cable and a chamber. The cable may comprise a winding and at least one free end. The chamber may define an internal volume containing the cable. The chamber may comprise a continuous opening. The continuous opening may comprise at least one surface arranged to apply pressure to a portion of the cable located proximate to the continuous opening.
HOSE-REELING APPARATUS
A hosed-reeling apparatus comprising a hose reel and a rack having a front opening for demountably receiving and supporting the hose reel. The hose reel has two sidewalls, a connection member concentrically coupling the two sidewalls, and two spindles extending laterally outward from the centers of the two sidewalls, respectively. The rack has at least a base framework, and a locking structure configurable between an unlock position and a lock position. The base framework has two upward facing channels on opposite sides thereof for demountably receiving the hose reel spindles. The channels are accessible from thereabove when the locking structure is at the unlock position, and the channels are inaccessible from thereabove when the locking structure is at the lock position. Each of the sidewalls of the hose reel may have at least one straight outer edge, allowing the hose reel sit stably on a horizontal surface or a ramp.
PACKAGING FOR ROLLS
A packaging for a storage and a transport of a plurality of textile or non-woven strips which are wound in respective rolls. Each of the plurality of textile or non-woven strips are wound around a core. Each of the rolls has a diameter which is equivalent to a multiple of a width of the plurality of textile or non-woven strips when wound in a roll. The packaging includes connectors having a sleeve-shape or a round-profile-shape. The cores are arranged coaxially on top of each other and are connected with each other via the connectors which are inserted into respective cavities of the cores neighboring each other for stacking two or more of the rolls so that all of the cores form a stable core shaft and so that the rolls neighboring each other have a distance between their respective lateral faces.
Core member for a film roll
A core member is provided for storing shrink film. The core member includes a plurality of rollers, each having a disc and a core extending upwardly from the disc. The plurality of rollers are aligned longitudinally along an axis and laterally along a plane. The plurality of rollers are rotatable to wind the shrink film about the rollers.
COLLAPSIBLE, RE-USEABLE SPOOL
A spool is transitionable between an operable (i.e., cable ready) state and a stowed (i.e., return ready) state. In the operable state, the spool is configured to receive and hold a coil of cable. In the stowed state, the spool has a reduced three-dimensional footprint compared to the operable state, thereby facilitating storage and return of the spools. The spool can be releasably locked in the operable state. When the lock is released, the spool can be freely transitioned between both states to facilitate reuse of the spool.
MODULAR CABLE REEL
A system and method for collecting and storing different types of electrical cable is provided. The system includes a first cable reel comprising: a first wheel member; a second wheel member spaced apart from the first wheel member; a first inner wheel member disposed between the first wheel member and the second wheel member; a plurality of first gear members disposed on a first outer surface of the first wheel member; and a plurality of second gear members disposed on a second outer surface of the second wheel member.
Cable reel
A cable reel is provided, in particular for a pipe inspection system, the cable reel having a frame and a cable receptacle. The cable receptacle is rotatably arranged on the frame, it being possible to wind a cable onto the cable receptacle and unwind it from the cable receptacle. The cable receptacle has an inner cage and an outer cage, with the diameter of the inner cage being smaller than the diameter of the outer cage. The inner cage is arranged coaxially with respect to the outer cage and is inside the outer cage. It is possible to rotate the inner cage and the outer cage independently of one another, and the inner cage is receives a first cable portion of the cable and the outer cage receives a second cable portion of the cable.
Core member for a film roll
A core member is provided for storing shrink film. The core member includes a plurality of rollers, each having a disc and a core extending upwardly from the disc.
