Rope load detecting device for detecting the total rope load in multiple elevator ropes
A rope load detecting device for detecting total rope load in multiple elevator ropes, includes a frame held on the multiple elevator ropes, and a force sensing element. The frame includes a tension beam, a first and second connecting bars, a movable member and a supporting beam, one end of the first and second connecting bars is fixed to the tension beam, the other end is fixed to the supporting beam, one end of the movable member is connected to the tension beam, the other end freely passes the supporting beam. The frame is configured to enable the part of each elevator rope passing through the first and second connecting bars and the movable member of the frame to be bent so that enable the force caused by each loaded elevator rope to act on the force sensing element by means of the movable member of the frame, whereby the total rope load in multiple elevator ropes can be detected by a single force sensing element.
BRAKE DEVICE FOR AN ELEVATOR CAR, USE THEREOF IN AN ELEVATOR SYSTEM, AND METHOD
A braking apparatus for braking a movable elevator car of an elevator system and for measuring load changes produced in the elevator car has at least one, preferably two, brakes for braking the elevator car relative to a stationary component of the elevator system. The braking apparatus includes a brake holding arrangement for holding the brake(s) on the elevator car, a load measuring device having a force transmission element for measuring a force acting on the force transmission element, and a load measuring device holding arrangement for holding the load measuring device on the elevator car.
ELEVATOR SYSTEM
An elevator control system prompts a person using the elevator to select a floor if they forget to do so after entering the elevator. The elevator control system detects the presence of a person in an elevator car, counts the time that passes starting from when the person is detected, and issues an alert when the time counted exceeds a given threshold and a floor call button has not been pressed within that time.
Load measuring device for an elevator installation
An elevator installation includes an elevator cage with a support construction carrying the elevator cage, wherein the support construction has two beams. Mounted on each beam is a positioning arrangement on which a sensor is positioned, which is part of a load measuring device, wherein the positioning arrangements have material structures. The sensors detect a change in spacing of the material structures from one another, wherein this change in spacing is caused by a change in loading of the elevator cage. Signals of the sensors are processed in an evaluating unit and a signal representing the loading is used in an elevator control.
Number-of-people information acquisition system, number-of-people information acquisition method, and elevator
In the present invention, a process of receiving an image obtained by capturing a measurement target place with a camera, calculating a number of people in the measurement target place based on the image received, and allocating a car according to the calculated number of people is performed. Here, when an abnormality that an image from the camera cannot be received is determined, a process of referring to a detection value of a sensor or the like installed in a car or in the measurement target place to calculate the number of people in the car or the measurement target place is performed.
LOAD MEASUREMENT ARRANGEMENT OF AN ELEVATOR AND A METHOD
A load measurement arrangement of an elevator comprising: a hoisting machinery (3) for driving an elevator car (2) in an elevator shaft (1); a hoisting machinery bed plate (11) supporting the hoisting machinery; and at least one load weighing sensor (20) located between the hoisting machinery (3) and the hoisting machinery bed plate (11). The load measurement arrangement comprises aligning means (25) for placing the at least one load weighing sensor (20) at a predefined point or at predefined points between the hoisting machinery (3) and the hoisting machinery bed plate (11). A method for elevator load measuring.
Elevator sterilization system and method of using same
An ultraviolet anti-pathogen device for an elevator car is disclosed. The device includes occupant sensors, such as motion detectors to sense movement, weight sensors to sense the presence of occupants, or head sensors to sense the presence of occupants to assure that occupants have evacuated the car prior to sterilization or sanitization. Subsequently, UV-C generators, such as a bank of mercury bulbs, generate intense levels of UV-C. An array of multiple UV-C sensors scan the car, and determine the darkest area, or the area reflecting the lowest level of UV-C back to the sensors. A set of controllers contained in the device calculates the time required to obtain a bactericidal dose of UV-C reflected back from darkest area. Once a bactericidal dose has been reflected to all the sensors, the unit shuts down.
