SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR DISPLAYING CABIN OPERATING PANELS IN ELEVATOR CABS BASED ON POSITIONS OF PASSENGERS
An elevator system may include an elevator car that is configured to transport a passenger between floors of a building as well as a sensor system in the elevator car that is configured to detect a passenger's location, orientation, and/or height. The elevator system may further include a touchscreen that can display a virtual car operating panel at a location on the touchscreen that is based on the location, orientation, and/or height of the passenger. The virtual car operating panel may be configured to receive input from the passenger regarding a destination floor. The touchscreen may be configured to display a virtual car operating panel for each passenger based on each passenger's location, orientation, and/or height on the elevator car.
METHOD FOR OPERATING AN ELEVATOR INSTALLATION, PASSENGER GUIDING SYSTEM FOR AN ELEVATOR INSTALLATION AND ELEVATOR INSTALLATION
A method for operating an elevator installation includes receiving a destination call of a passenger at a control unit and selecting an elevator car from a set of available elevator cars for transporting the passenger. The elevator car is selected such that elevator car spacing rules are observed. The method further includes determining an arrival time of the selected elevator car at the boarding floor, and determining a first arrival time of the passenger at an elevator landing corresponding to the selected elevator car on the boarding floor. The method includes directing, under the proviso that the first arrival time of the passenger at the elevator landing precedes the arrival time of the selected elevator car by a defined margin, the passenger to a waiting zone of a set of available waiting zones. The waiting zone is selected such that waiting zone spacing rules are observed.
ELEVATOR HALL OPERATION PANEL
In the modernization of a hall display device, the number of cables connected to operating equipment may increase since the shape and the number of pushbuttons, indicators and the like are changed. In this case, it is necessary to further process a hole at the worksite for passing the cables in accordance with the number of cables, which makes the work complicated. In the present invention, a frame having an opening in the center is fixed to a hall wall, and a front plate having operating equipment is fixed in a way as to cover the opening on the hall side of the frame. A back plate having a hole for passing cables is detachably fixed in a way as to cover the opening on the elevator hoistway side.
System For Mobile Robot To Autonomously Take Elevator
A system for a mobile robot to autonomously take an elevator includes an elevator button pressing module mounted on an elevator floor control panel of the elevator. The elevator button pressing module communicates with the mobile robot wirelessly and is adapted to press a pair of elevator buttons on the elevator floor control panel according to an instruction issued by the mobile robot to call an elevator car.
Secondary car operating panel for elevator cars
Elevator car systems including a primary car operating panel fixedly located on an elevator car panel and a secondary car operating panel display system. The Display system includes a detection and tracking device configured to detect the entry and location of passengers within the elevator car and a display device configured to display a secondary car operating panel at a location proximate to a detected and tracked passenger.
AUTOMATIC DETERMINATION OF POSITION AND ORIENTATION OF ELEVATOR DEVICE ENTRY TERMINALS AND HALLWAY FIXTURES
A system to determine a location of a signal emitting device is provided. First, second, and third data is received from at least one movable communication device. Each of the first, second, and third data include a unique identifier of the signal emitting device, a signal strength of a signal received by the at least one movable communication device from the signal emitting device, and a location of the at least one movable communication device when it received the signal. Each of the first, second, and third data include different locations of the at least one movable communication device. A location of the signal emitting device is computed based at least in part on the received first, second, and third data.
AUGMENTED REALITY CAR OPERATING PANEL
An elevator system is provided. Aspects includes an elevator car, a sensor, and a projector affixed to the elevator car, wherein the projector is operated by a controller and the controller is configured to receive an indication of a presence of a passenger in the elevator car. A car operating panel is projected, by a projector, in the elevator car, wherein the car operating panel comprises a virtual element. An activation of the virtual element from the passenger is sensed by a sensor and an action is initiated based at least in part on sensing the activation of the virtual element.
ELEVATOR INSTALLATION AND OPERATING AND/OR DISPLAY PANEL FOR AN ELEVATOR INSTALLATION
A landing door of an elevator system includes a door leaf that is equipped with an integrated operating and/or display panel. In the event of a fire, a printed circuit board of the operating and/or display panel is removed from the door leaf by activation of an ejection device comprising intumescent material and being positioned in the door leaf.
INTERACTIVE TOUCH-BASED CAR OPERATING PANEL SYSTEMS FOR ELEVATOR CARS
Elevator cars having a plurality of elevator car panels defining a passenger compartment of the elevator car and an interactive touch-based car operating panel system. The interactive touch-based car operating panel system includes an interactive element extending around at least a portion of a periphery of the passenger compartment and located on at least one of the plurality of elevator car panels, the interactive element having an interactive surface facing the passenger compartment and a controller arranged to receive passenger input at the interactive surface and control an elevator car in response to the passenger input.
