A non-transitory computer-readable medium includes program instructions that cause a processor to retrieve a set of rules of the elevator system, generate at least one graphical user interface by applying the set of rules to at least one design template, calculate an acceptance score for the at least one graphical user interface based on a user profile of an administrator, and publish the at least one graphical user interface based at least partially on the acceptance score. The elevator system further includes a display device configured to display the graphical user interface after it is published and cause the drive controller to actuate the drive motor based on user input of a selection of at least one selectable option on the at least one graphical user interface.

Augmented reality glasses are used, with a transducer array, to give images, produced by the glasses, a feel in midair. The glasses images can be shown as three-dimensional images, that are located in midair. The images are located near the transducer array. The array produces a touch feel in mid-air. The mid-air touch feel occupies the same space as the image. The feel gives the image a touch feel, when a user touches the image. The touch sense, can give the image a more real interaction when touched, such as, giving an image of a food item like a sandwich, a feel similar to a sandwich feel. The images with feel, allow for an immersive experience, within the augmented reality environment. The feel can move, when the image moves, such as, the user views an image, of another user's hand moving, and feels the movement of the hand.

An authorization management and authorization request for an elevator service request, and belongs to the technical field of elevator management. An authorization management system for an elevator service request includes a wireless signal device and an authorization management device; wherein the authorization management system performs the following by a personal mobile terminal entering the coverage of the wireless signal: acquiring an elevator identifier in the wireless signal if the wireless signal is scanned, determining whether to have a corresponding elevator service request authority based on the elevator identifier and the stored authorization configuration information, and if not, providing an input component for the passenger to input an instruction of confirming to make authorization request on the personal mobile terminal, and generating authorization request information based on the instruction input by the passenger; wherein the authorization management device is used for receiving the authorization request information.

The operations including: detecting that an individual is within a selected range of an elevator system; obtaining a passenger attribute of the individual; and adjusting a component of the elevator system in response to the passenger attribute.

A landing door of an elevator system includes a door leaf equipped with an integrated floor indicator that signals to a person the floor on which an elevator car approaching the exit floor is currently located. The door leaf of the landing door has a wall element made of sheet metal with a microperforated indicator sector and actuatable light sources arranged in the indicator sector behind the wall element to form the floor indicator.

A mobile robot is configured for operation in a commercial or industrial setting, such as an office building or retail store. The mobile robot can have a motorized base and a robot body on the motorized base, the robot body including a rotatable ring that rotates horizontally around the robot body. A mechanical arm that can contract and extend relative to the robot body is coupled to the rotatable ring and performs a plurality of actions. A controller of the mobile robot provides instructions to the rotatable ring and the mechanical arm and can cause the mechanical arm to open a door, take an elevator to move to a different floor, and test whether a door is locked properly.

An illustrative example method of controlling an elevator system includes detecting a number of passengers waiting for elevator service at a landing, detecting an available passenger capacity of a plurality of elevator cars, respectively, and assigning at least one of the elevator cars to travel to the landing to provide elevator service to the passengers based on the detected number of passengers and the available passenger capacity of the at least one of the elevator cars.

The control device includes: a control panel, which includes a plurality of buttons, each of the plurality of buttons being capable of sensing the approaching of an object in a non-contact manner; and a processor, which is connected to the control panel to receive signals sent by the plurality of buttons when the approaching of an object is sensed; wherein the processor is configured to, when receiving signals sent by at least two adjacent buttons of the plurality of buttons within a defined time period, not execute an operation corresponding to the signals.

A device that can be foot activated and used to call an elevator and/or control one or more functions of the elevator is disclosed. In particular, the user can step on one or more parts of the device to call an elevator to go to a floor located above or below a floor the user is currently located or to select specific floors. The device utilizes one or more air chambers/pockets that can be pressed to activate the sequence of air to travel through an air outlet of the air chamber/pocket, through an air hose, in order to activate switches on electrical contacts that are in electrical communication with the elevator call box. The electrical contacts are electrically connected to specific push buttons of an elevator to call and/or control specific elevator functions including ascending, descending, or traveling to a specific floor.
