METHOD FOR INDICATING ELEVATOR SERVICE STATUS AND ELEVATOR CALL DEVICE
A method for indicating a service status of an elevator, an elevator call-out device, and a computer-readable storage medium. Elevator call-out device includes a call-out button for inputting a request to cause an elevator car to move relative to a landing station where the elevator call-out device is located; a visual sign associated with a direction of movement of the elevator car indicated by the call-out button; a control unit configured to: switch the corresponding visual sign from an off state to a normally lit state upon receiving the request to cause the elevator car to move relative to the landing station where the elevator call-out device is located; switch the visual sign corresponding to the direction of movement of the elevator car after stopping to a flashing state in response to an event that the elevator car stops at the landing station where the elevator call-out device is located.
Device and Method for Elevator Scheduling
An elevator has an elevator scheduling assembly. The elevator scheduling assembly may include elevator controllers that pressure elevator buttons to call an elevator car to a floor in a building. The elevator scheduling assembly may also include a mobile user controller that allows a user to remotely call an elevator car.
ELEVATOR INTERACTION IN PUBLIC SPACES
In methods and a system for enabling temporary interaction between a user device of a passenger and an elevator or an elevator group provided for public use in a public space, a database is maintained that includes information on at least one elevator or elevator group available for public use. A user device sends a request message that includes validation information. The request message is validated by verifying that the unique identification of the elevator or elevator group in said validation information is among said at least one elevator or elevator group available for public and that geographical locations of the user device and the elevator or elevator group fulfill a predefined proximity criterion. If the request message is deemed valid, temporary access is granted to an elevator application running on the user device for entering at least one call for elevator service via an elevator call API.
BUILDING SYSTEM WITH ELEVATOR CALL ENTRY VIA OFFLINE QR CODE CREDENTIAL
A building system has an elevator system controlled by a controller system to move an elevator car between building floors, and a registration computer system communicatively coupled to the controller system. The registration computer system generates an activation (QR) code that a user requesting elevator service scans with a mobile communications device. The activation code encodes user information including access rights of the user in the building. A software application executable by the mobile communications device responds to the activation code by generating a graphical user interface with displayed content determined by the user information in the activation code. The software application generates an optical credential upon the user specifying the elevator service. A credential acquisition unit reads the optical credential from the mobile communications device, whereby the controller system causes the elevator system to perform the specified elevator service upon determining that the optical credential is valid.
ELEVATOR OPERATING DEVICE HAVING TWO CALL INPUT DEVICES DISPOSED SEPARATE FROM EACH OTHER WITH RESPECT TO PASSENGERS
An elevator operating device for inputting a travel request in an elevator system has a first call input device that is communicatively connected to a central control device of the elevator operating device. The first call input device comprises buttons that are each assigned to a floor of a building and are disposed so as to be accessible to a first passenger for inputting a destination floor. A second call input device of the elevator operating device is communicatively connected to the central control device and disposed so as to be accessible to a second passenger for inputting a destination floor. The first call input device and the second call input device are disposed at a distance from each other on the passenger side.
System and method for servicing remote elevator calls based on proximity to elevator landing
Disclosed is an elevator system having an elevator, the elevator having an elevator landing and an elevator controller, the controller capable of communicating over a network with a device, and the device may be located within an area positionally associated with the landing, the controller: receives from the device, a request for elevator service at the landing, effects monitoring the device relative to the area, effects a first response upon determining that the device is inside the area, otherwise effects a second response.
ACCESS CONTROL ARRANGEMENT, MOBILE DEVICE, CONVEYOR SYSTEM, AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING ACCESS IN CONVEYOR SYSTEM
An access control arrangement of a conveyor system, a mobile device, a conveyor system, and a method for controlling access in a conveyor system are disclosed. The conveyor system includes a manual key-operated access mechanism operable via a key-hole by a key. The access control arrangement includes a communication device for communicating with a mobile device, and a blocking member configured to cover the keyhole in a first position for blocking external access, and to expose the keyhole in a second position, the blocking member being movable between the first and the second positions. The access control arrangement is configured to lock the blocking member in the first position, and release it from the first position in response to receiving a release signal by the communication device.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR TOUCHLESS ELEVATOR CAB REQUESTS
Embodiments of the present disclosure are directed to a system for a touchless request for an elevator cab. The system for a touchless request for an elevator cab includes an elevator controller, a processor communicatively coupled to the elevator controller, and a storage medium in communication with the processor comprising programming instructions cause the processor to: receive a unique identification from a user, determine a current floor that the unique identification was provided, access a data storage device to determine a destination floor access permission based on the unique identification, determine a landing to travel based on the destination floor access permission, send an elevator cab request command to the elevator controller to request the elevator cab to the current floor and to travel to the landing, and generate a notification for the elevator cab that is assigned to travel between the current floor and the landing.
Elevator service request using user device
Methods and systems for elevator control are provided. The methods and systems include receiving, by a computing device comprising a processor, a request for at least one service associated with an elevator system from a user device, controlling an elevator car to travel to a specific floor in accordance with the request, controlling an elevator car door to be closed upon arriving at the specific floor, transmitting an indicator to the user device that the elevator car has arrived at the specific floor, and controlling the elevator car door to open upon receiving, by the computing device, an access request from the user device.
ELEVATOR SYSTEM
A landing door of an elevator system has a door leaf equipped with an integrated floor display that indicates to a person the floor at which an elevator car approaching the floor of departure is currently located. The door leaf of the landing door has a wall element made of sheet metal, the floor display having at least one controllable light source arranged behind the wall element, and a cover layer. The wall element has a display segment with a plurality of light passage openings, the light passage openings forming a perforated screen structure. The cover layer functions such that after the light source is activated to display the desired floor information, light from the light source penetrates through the light passage openings and the cover layer to the outside and when the light source is deactivated, the cover layer does not let light through to the outside.
