SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR DYNAMICALLY MODIFYING A CAPACITY LIMIT OF AN ELEVATOR CAR
Disclosed is an elevator system having: a controller; an elevator car operationally connected to the controller; a first sensor configured to provide first sensor data to the controller, wherein the controller is configured to identify a capacity parameter of the elevator car, wherein the capacity parameter includes one or more of: loaded weight; volume of available space; or volume of occupied space; a second sensor configured to provide second sensor data to the controller, wherein the controller is configured to determine that passengers remain outside the elevator car when the elevator car is stopped at a landing and its elevator doors are open; and wherein from the first sensor data and the second sensor data, the controller is configured to determine a reduced capacity limit for the elevator car as a function of the capacity parameter.
Switch arrangement for a lift, in particular a personnel lift and/or a goods lift
A switch arrangement for a lift, preferably a personnel lift or goods lift, including marked pushbuttons and an electrical conductor connection to a control device of the lift. The switch arrangement is provided with at least one elastically deformable plate element with the pushbuttons with the marking on the upper side of the button. A recognition element for the bending in the button is arranged beneath this plate element of the at least one pushbutton. In addition, an electrical conductor connection is provided from the recognition elements to the control device. As a result, it is possible for thinner and more user-friendly switch arrangements to be installed in or outside a lift, in particular for controlling it, or for general functions.

ELEVATOR OPERATION PANEL
In an elevator operation panel, a base of a casing includes a back plate portion, a lateral plate portion, and a vertical plate portion. An outer surface of the lateral plate portion, which faces the exterior of the casing, and a vertical direction end surface of the vertical plate portion on the lateral plate portion side are disposed in an identical plane. An L-shaped slit is provided between the back plate portion and the lateral plate portion. The slit includes a rectilinear portion, and a. projecting portion that projects into the back plate portion. In a condition where the lateral plate portion is bent relative to the back plate portion, a surface of the lateral plate portion that faces the rectilinear portion overlaps a surface of the back plate portion on an opposite side to a wall.

Systems and methods for providing information regarding elevator systems
Elevator systems having an elevator car located within an elevator shaft, the elevator car moveable between a plurality of floors of a building, a car operating panel located within the elevator car and having a plurality of buttons operable for selection of a destination floor of the plurality of floors, a digital readable marker located within the elevator car that is at least one of scannable and readable by a user device, and a digital storage system having information stored thereon, the information including directory information, wherein the directory information includes information associated with the floors selectable by operation of the plurality of buttons. When a user device scans or reads the digital readable marker, the digital storage system transmits the directory information to the user device so that the user device can display the directory information to a passenger.
