Apparatus for Rejection / Control of Pests for Areas, and the Use Thereof
20180070556 · 2018-03-15 ·

It is disclosed a device for controlling and/or euthanizing vermin or pests for preventing such vermin or pests from entering into a geographical area or into a building, wherein the device comprises at least one completely or partially uninsulated electrically conducting wire or conductor connected to an electrical current source, providing controlled electrical pulses to said conductor or wire in the form of pulses or pulse trains. The device may be used in a method for controlling the access of pests/vermin to a geographical location, building or property wherein the electrically conducting wire(s) lead(s) an electrical current with an amperage of not less than 0.0001 A. The device and method is particularly suited for removing/controlling pests/vermin on land.

Insect barrier

An active barrier to termites and other insects includes a polymeric or paper substrate; and a copper-carbon matrix, wherein the copper-carbon matrix is incorporated into or is coated onto the polymeric or paper substrate. The resulting combination of the substrate and copper-carbon matrix allows for the creation of films, tapes, coated paper and fabric, or molded or formed parts that interfere with and block the passage or entry beyond the barrier of termites or other insects. Uses may be as diverse as but not limited to underlayment(s) for temporary, semi-permanent or permanent structures as well as films and barriers for walls, roofs of permanent, semi-permanent or temporary structures, or interior spaces, cabinets, or vehicles or protecting equipment, telecommunication gear, electronics or other assets that may be impacted, damaged or degraded by termite or other such insect infestation.

SMALL INSECT FILTER GRID
20250107510 · 2025-04-03 ·

A small insect filter grid may spare bugs of a smaller size and kill larger bugs. The small insect filter grid may protect and spare a honeybee colony while killing the Asian Giant Hornet which can decimate a honeybee population. The small insect filter grid may provide a protective cage having a mesh grid pattern that may be placed around a honeybee hive. The protective cage may be electrically powered to kill the larger bugs such as the Asian Giant Hornet. The honeybees and other smaller insects are not large enough to touch both a positive (+) and a negative () rail of the mesh at the same time, and accordingly, will not bridge the circuit to activate the power within the grid and be electrocuted. Asian Giant Hornets are large enough to touch both the positive and negative rails to bridge the circuit so that they are electrocuted.

Pest repellant system with compliant architecture
12396451 · 2025-08-26 · ·

The present disclosure provides a pest repellant system that includes pulse generator circuitry to generate pulses from a power source. The frequency and amplitude of the pulses are selected based on a selected pest species. One or more emitters are coupled to the pulse generator to generate pulsed fields to interfere with navigational/landing/nesting abilities of the selected pest species. The pulse generator circuitry includes filter circuitry to remove/attenuate unwanted frequency components of the pulses, in accordance with regulatory and/or government requirements. The pulse generator circuitry is encased in a housing structure to provide moisture and tamper resistance in accordance with regulatory and/or government requirements.

Lawn mower diverter/ bee guard or accessory warning device for diverting and saving honeybees and other endangered insects
12543650 · 2026-02-10 ·

A Lawn mower Diverter/Bee Guard or accessory warning device for diverting and saving honeybees and other endangered insects. The device components include a plate for removably securing the warning device to the mower deck; a manner for removably connecting and securing the plate to the deck; a warning emitter; and a way for securing a warning emitter to the plate. Alternative mechanical designs and light, sound, electro-magnetic force, and spray devices are shown as other embodiments. The warning device alerts the pollinating bees of the oncoming mower so the bees can survive by flying away and averting their demise by the mower. Alternative devices for warning are sound, light, smoke, spray, and Electro Magnetic force/pulse generators placed with the mowers.
